Great view of the well renowned McKenzie River. This sought after Lake Front home, has a picturesque setting on a 1-acre of land. Enjoy dining watching Rafters, Kayaks, and Fishing boats drift by. Bring your kayak or fishing boat! The lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout. This is some of the best fishing, biking, rafting and hiking. Close to a boat launching ramp, a park with picnic tables and outdoor BBQ's. This house is fully furnished, 3-Bedrooms, 2.5-BA, Living Rm, Dining Rm, Kitchen, In wall Microwave/Oven, Cooktop Stove, Dishwasher, Washer and Dryer. Kitchen is well stocked.

Fantastic retreat

Stayed here and traveled to Eugene for a kiddos track meet. This place was a fantastic spot to relax away from people!

The home was big, beautiful and immaculate, and the scenery and view were gorgeous.Linda is a wonderful host, very communicative, friendly and helpful. The instructions for check in and check out were very thorough and easy to understand. Wonderful experience and would stay there again.

Fishing Trip

McKenzie River Fishing Trip

Home was a perfect base for our week of fly fishing the McKenzie. The home is beautiful, views are great. Linda is a great host and easy to work with.

I am happy you and your wife enjoyed my house, while attending your daughters wedding close by. The lake has a boat launching ramp, and it is used for recreational purposes, such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and small fishing boats. Looking forward to your return in the near future. Perhaps a University of Oregon football game! My riverfront home is beautiful in any season of the year, including the holidays. Cheers!

Beautiful home!

The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the view! The bathrooms were well-stocked with bath essentials and the kitchen had ample spices and cookware. It felt very spacious and bright!

I offer all of the essentials for kitchen cooking and BBQing, also spices and cookware. It is a must have and it is like having a home away from home. Beautiful and relaxing

Our three night stay was very relaxing and comfortable. Perfect place to relax indoors and on back deck. Plenty of space for large family or group of friends to spend time together. We utilized the kitchen for most of our meals, and surprised how well stocked it was. Would very much recommend this place to my friends.

I am happy to hear you enjoyed the large living room and open floor plan, with dinning, and the kitchen with easy access. Having 2-living rooms, with one upstairs and one downstairs is a bonus as well, including 2-flat screen TV's. I feel having a well stocked kitchen, with all of the essentials such as spices, paper goods, storage containers, and foil is what every traveler and guest should have. Beautiful View

The location of the home is perfect. The view was so peaceful. We enjoyed kayaking the launch is half mile away. Would have loved a launch right from the home. My only disappointment was the hot water smelled like rotten eggs. I realize this was caused from well water but I would encourage homeowner to add a water softener to alleviate this problem. If the water is fixed I'd love to go back

beautiful view right on the lake. Put my drift boat in at the dam and then tied it up at the house.

Our short get away

We had a wonderful time here! It was our first time in the area and we can't wait to get out there again. The home was lovely, the view was peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of fishing and rafting. Great trip!

Gorgeous property!!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Linda, the owner is so helpful and communicative. The area is so beautiful! The house itself is very clean and open, gorgeous views of the river right outside the windows and on the deck. Water pressure isn’t great but that was the only thing! Overall definitely 5 stars! We had an amazing trip!

Great views of the river

We enjoyed our stay very much. The listing was a good representation of what the property is like. The views from the dining room and the back deck are great and we spent a lot of time watching the river. We brought our canoe and fished and paddled around every day, it is just a short drive down to the boat ramp. I would have loved a dock or bank access to the river from the house, but using the boat ramp wasn't bad. The house was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Nothing fancy, but it was serviceable. The property manager was very communicative and easy to work with. A few downsides worth noting: we had some hot weather and the loft area got very hot, the sleeper sofa up there isn't very comfortable, there's no door to the second bedroom so it isn't super private, and the water from the tap has a very faint odor. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Bliss on the river

Our family spent three wonderful nights at the McKenzie River front cabin. Beautiful views, privacy and close proximity to a multitude of outdoor activities, made it easy and enjoy to spend our time in the area.

Clean, peaceful, beautiful

The photos are exactly what the home is like. Beds comfortable. Plenty of linens, nice movie collection, Plenty of dishes, but no serving bowls, not even for popcorn, peaceful dead end street. The view is spectacular and watching the river traffic was entertaining. The bad, the 2nd bathroom off the master is very tiny, no dock for launching boats in front of cabin. Otherwise we will be back, loved all the river view windows. 3 nights not long enough. Thank you!
