Come relax and enjoy the stunning views at Mountains on My Mind, a beautiful, three-story cabin perched atop Cove Mountain in peaceful Wears Valley. Offering spectacular long-range mountain and valley views, this newly renovated cabin is perfect for a family vacation or even two or three couples since the three king suites are all located on different floors.

Soak in the hot tub on the covered porch and enjoy the amazing view, or sip your morning coffee on the east porch and watch as the sunrise lights up the dawn.

In the evenings, have your camera ready- the breathtaking sunsets here are nothing short of a masterpiece. Step onto the west porch and lose yourself in the mesmerizing spectacle as the sun gracefully descends behind the distant mountains, painting the sky with vibrant colors that will steal your breath away.

This recently renovated cabin (April 2023) features new LVP flooring throughout the middle and lower levels. The completely renovated galley kitchen includes all new stainless steel appliances, under-counter lighting, granite countertops, and pantry closet lighting. This well-stocked kitchen includes many utensils and amenities you may need for preparing a delicious home-cooked meal, or you can prepare dinner on the gas grill on the porch just outside the kitchen. Enjoy your meals at the table for six, located between the kitchen and the living room, or take in the views while you dine on one of the porches. After dinner, relax in the living room as you stream your favorite shows or watch DirecTV on the 65" Smart TV. On those cold autumn and winter nights, enjoy the cozy warmth of the wood burning fireplace in the living room. (Fireplace open October 1- April 15.)

After a day of fun at the cabin or out exploring one of the many area attractions, enjoy a peaceful night's rest in one of the comfortable beds. Each floor of this three-story cabin features a king bedroom suite with a private bathroom, affording everyone their privacy. For your comfort, electronic heated bidets are available in the upper and lower level bathrooms, and the lower level features a jetted tub. A queen sleeper sofa with a premium mattress is located in the living room.

Unleash your competitive spirit in the loaded game room on the lower level, where excitement awaits! Challenge friends or family to a game of pool on the brand new (April 2022) 7' slate pool table. Dive into the world of virtual pinball with 450+ tables on the state-of-the-art machine, featuring classics from Bally, Stern, and Midway. Relive the golden age of gaming with Frogger, Pac-Man, or Donkey Kong on the 60 game multicade arcade cabinet. For modern gaming enthusiasts, an Xbox connected to a 65” Smart TV awaits.

Step outside to the generous upper and lower porches on each side of the cabin. Here, you'll find ample seating and endless views of the surrounding mountains and valley.

Guests at Mountains on My Mind have special access to the amenities at Honeysuckle Meadows RV Pool & Deli, a quick, ten minute drive away. In the summer, cool off at their expansive outdoor swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs, take the kids fishing at the private pond, or enjoy a deli lunch or snacks at their poolside cabana. We are delighted to offer a convenient solution to our guests by partnering with a local company that provides pre-arrival grocery delivery services for a small fee. Guests can have their groceries delivered directly to the cabin on day of arrival, where they will be promptly unpacked and placed in the refrigerator or on the counter as appropriate. This service allows guests to save time and effort, enabling them to focus on enjoying their vacation without the hassle of grocery shopping.

Located in peaceful Wears Valley, Mountains on My Mind is just 20 minutes (10 miles) from all the action on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. Heading to Smoky Mountains National Park? This cabin is only minutes away from the "secret" entrance at Metcalf Bottoms.

Please familiarize yourself with the cancellation policy for this property before booking. The purchase of travel insurance is recommended, as the cancellation policy will be followed. Travel Insurance may protect you in the event of a last minute cancellation. We do not issue refunds due to weather conditions.

This cabin is located atop a knob on Cove Mountain. The last 0.4 miles is steep and has switchbacks. However, the road is a normal width and is paved and in good condition. Any vehicle should be able to make it up and down the mountain as my daughter's hybrid Prius travels up and down without any issues. However, during the winter months, there is the possibility of snow or ice forming on the road during a winter storm which could make travel up or down not possible until the snow or ice melts. Please be aware of the weather forecast for the area if you are visiting during the winter months.
