Just steps from the powdery white sands and gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico - pure Florida magic at its finest.

The open concept Living and Dining Areas, and fully equipped Kitchen are perfect for creating a beachside breakfast or sunset cocktails. Retreat to the serene primary suite featuring a king bed and walk-in shower ensuite. The guest bedroom offers two twin beds (can convert to King on request) with private access to a full shower/tub combination ensuring everyone has their private space with every detail designed for your comfort. (Sleeps up to 4 comfortably.)

With elevator access for effortless entry, and assigned covered parking means no hunting for spots, and the complex's smoke-free, pet-free policy keeps the air as fresh as the ocean breeze.

Annual AMI trip

The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Neighbors were so kind. Pool was big and nice and beach access was beautiful. Elevator is hit or miss but it was only one flight of stairs. Beds were comfortable and we lived out on the balcony. It was very peaceful.

There was a strong smell of fish that would not go away in the unit even with the air fresheners I purchased and the doors opened. Not sure where it was coming from. Otherwise it was a great place.

Perfect getaway

Located right on the beach! Tennis court was in great shape. Pool and hot tub very clean. Unit itself was very nicely decorated and spacious. And plenty of beach towels and beach toys were provided. Location on the Island was perfect. Easy bike ride to Anna Maria and other locations on the Island.

Fantastic Holmes Beach

We rented this apartment for 14 days. The location right on Holmes Beach which has the most amazing white sand. The pool was properly heated and great to go straight in unlike many places where the pool is too cold to use. The hot tub was toasty. Property managers Suzanne and Tom were great when we needed some help. All in all a great apartment in a very nice friendly complex.

A Lovely Stay

This was a lovely place to stay for our trip. The location and view really made us want to stay longer. Pool and jacuzzi were very easy to access and great to jump into after hitting the beach. Inside the layout was very comfortable for us. Kitchen was fully supplied which made it easy for us to make our own meals as we wished. The building staff was also pleasant to deal with. Finally, Suzanne, who managed our stay, is absolutely wonderful and was very quick to respond helpfully when we had a question or a need. We recommend this property and hope to come back again.

AM I DREAMING?

We absolutely love Anna Maria Island. That being said , renting a property with direct beach access is A critical component to our overall experience. There are multiple gates to go through for beach access, which I assume are there for security and privacy reasons. The locks in the gates were worn to the point where they required us to reach through and manipulate the lock with the key from the opposite side every time we accessed the pool area. The other gate lock to beach access required us to fight the key in and out of it every time. That would be the only negative item that we experienced. Now for the good. It’s AMI !!!!! Sugary Sand Beaches. I had the entire pool to myself almost every day for 3 weeks! Walk through aforementioned gates and Voila! Beautiful Sunset 🌅 in the Gulf. The condo exterior has a subtle Spanish theme. The interior had a light Beachy feel. Also, having a washer/dryer in the unit was huge! After all, we’re on vacation. No one wants to go to a laundromat or community laundry room. Great amenity.

Mark, Thank you for the great 5 star review! We have spoken to the Association regarding the key locks and they are in the process of having them in working order. Sorry you had to deal with that on your vacation, but it sounds like you really enjoyed your stay at Shell Game. There's nothing like having the beach just steps away to enjoy the beautiful sunsets or do a little shelling. We like having a trolley stop nearby too - it's one of the best ways to explore Anna Maria Island! Hope you had the opportunity to visit some of our fantastic restaurants and shopped some of our local boutiques for the perfect souvenir to take home with you. We hope to see you again!

Great pool and beach condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Shellgame was great, little to no impact by red tide. Manatee County did a great job keeping the beach clean. Having the pool and spa provide the perfect outdoor activity when too hot at the beach. Condo was well equipped and enjoyed getting to know other residents and vacationing families.

Alicia, Thank you for the great review! Yes the red tide did not affect us as badly as other areas along the Southwest Coast of Florida. Manatee County stepped up immediately and other private companies and locals pitched in to assist with clean up on a daily basis as well. We were thankful for that! It sounds like you had a great family beach vacation and hope you had the opportunity to explore what our little island has to offer. There are many local venues to visit and grab a bite to eat or to find the perfect souvenir at one of the local boutiques and gift shops. We look forward to your next visit - just contact us when you have dates picked out.

Perfect place on Anna Maria Island !

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this place for my parents who were visiting from Chicago for 3 weeks. They absolutely loved it! Very nice, clean and spacious... and about 30 seconds to the pool or beach. Also, close proximity to Publix and central location to everything else on AMI. They will be back!

Perfect location! Already planning our trip back!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at this condo. We can't wait to go back. We loved being right on the beach! The condo was very spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The decor is great. The kitchen was well-equipped and had lots of storage room. The bathrooms were large and very clean. The condo sits on a beautiful stretch of beach - quite wide and not too crowded. We spent most of our time on the gorgeous beach but the pool and hot tub area was really nice and well-kept. Lots of lounge chairs with umbrellas. The entire building was well maintained. We also appreciated the covered parking - it kept the car cool and protected us from any rain storms! Mary was a pleasure to deal with - very helpful in answering any of our questions. We're already planning our next trip!

Paradise!

My boyfriend and I just got back from staying here last night and we are already planning our next trip! I have stayed at this condo twice now and I can not say enough good things about it! Everything you could need for a vacation is already at the condo including a washer and dryer. The condo gives off a "beachy" feel that makes you feel right at home and relaxed! The lay out is very spacious as is the balcony with plenty of space to entertain or just enjoy dinner overlooking the ocean. The sand is white, the water was the perfect temperature and the sunsets here are to die for! There are many very good restaurants only minutes away (even walking distance!) and downtown is only about a 5 minute drive. There is also a free bus service that goes along the island so you can fully enjoy vacation without worrying about driving back to the condo. While there on this vacation, we enjoyed a sunset sail with Octavio which I highly recommend for an evening out! Kayak and paddle board rentals are also something we did this time and the rental company dropped off and picked them up where it was convenient for us! Our time here is never long enough and we can't wait to get back here!

Beautiful, spacious, beachfront condo

We had a wonderful family vacation! The condo was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed! The beds were very comfortable and we loved the beachy feel of the decor! It was so nice being only a few steps from the white sand and beautiful clear water! This is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful Condo and Fabulous Location

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing vacation, preferrably close to the beach with a condo to accomodate our stay and the unit we rented certainly far exceeded our expectations. The owners have done a great job of providing a condo that is lovely with comfortable furnishings, well stocked (the kitchen has everything you need for entertaining), very clean and the location is perfect. We especially liked the convenience of all the closet and dresser space, the extremely comfy king size bed, washer/dryer in unit, lots of fluffy towels, and the light and airy perfection of the layout. Stand on the deck and view the nice size pool/jacuzzi or look directly out onto the Gulf and white sand. We loved beginning each day with a walk on the beach and each evening watching the sun set and perform its magic...breathtaking. This is a perfect condo/vacation spot for all ages and I can not rate highly enough. Anna Maria Island offers many fine restaurants, is easy to navigate, and definately a kick back and relax kind of place. The owners have put together an informative book with maps, restaurant suggestions along with menus, where to rent beach equipment,bikes and suggested activities to enjoy while on the island. We had a wonderful day trip with the fun loving and very knowledgeable "Captain Patsy" from Star Fish Dock to view Dolphins and Manatees. Our favorite restaurants, Eat Here, Star Fish Company Pier, and Sign of the Mermaid. We will definately look forward to a return trip and and staying at this lovely condo again.

Great condo and great location

I stayed here for 17 days which were not enough. Anna Maria is the most beautiful beach. This condo was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and in a great location. It is an excellent place to just kick back and do nothing other than watch the sunset. The condo has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. My friends came for the weekend and were blown away by the condo and the beach. I have stayed in other condos and houses over the years on Anna Maria, and I will definitely try to rent this one again.

Perfect place for our family vacation!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! This condo was ideal for our family of 4. The entire property (pool area/courtyard) is very well maintained and beautiful. Being steps away from the gulf and and it's unbelievable sunsets was one of our favorite amenities! The condo was extremely clean, well stocked, and has a great layout. We enjoyed the large balcony and the access off of the living room and master bedroom. There were sand toys, pool noodles, and some floats that our kids enjoyed. The owners were very helpful and informative and provide a binder full of useful information in the condo. We enjoyed many sights on Anna Maria Island and the surrounding area, and even took a day trip to Disney - a very easy drive! A couple of restaurants that we enjoyed were Island Time & the Sandbar. Taking in the amazing sunsets was one of the highlights of our stay. We loved this condo and the island and look forward to staying here again!

Perfect summer getaway!

The ideal family vacation. Location was perfect. Steps away to the beach. The ocean water was warm and clear. Safe for families with young children. The property is well maintained. The pool was clean and large. We loved the condo. Spacious and clean. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Mary the owner was very nice and helpful. We definitely will return.
