June Open! 2025 Beach bungalow in Wonderful Shell Beach! Between, Pismo Beach and Avila Beach! So much to do! You will love the location, just down the street from the overlook. This comfortable beach bungalow includes a back sun room, and both front and back patios. The bluff at the end of the street has the best views! This quaint neighborhood is perfect for guests who love their morning coffee at the bluff to watch the waves or an evening stroll along the bluff to watch the sunset. There is beach access from the bluff at low tide to kayak, paddle board, relax on the beach or enjoy the many tide pools.

Shell Beach is the sister town North of Pismo Beach. If you are looking for outdoor activities, you have the beach, the pier, the dunes, kayaking, and even sky diving to choose from. There are also art galleries, wine/beer/cider tasting and restaurants all close by.

comfortable home pet friendly kept up yard … nice neighborhood … very pleasant . The cliffs at end of street Beautiful serene. My miniature poodles were happy with the stay as well.Centrally located . This is the second time I have stayed there. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Amazing Beach Cottage

Wonderful cottage in a perfect location. There is a wonderful view from the front deck. The back yard is lovely.

Wonderful Place!

We rented this home for 2 months and absolutely loved the home and the area. Cindy is a fantastic property manager, everything went very smoothly from check-in and through our stay. The home is light and airy with lots of windows and very spacious. Comfortable beds, nicely decorated and the kitchen is pretty well stocked for a long stay. We just brought a few items. I highly recommend this rental! And Shell Beach is a gem of an area!

Air quality problems

We rented this for a temporary house while house hunting. Was nice at first glance. After staying a week we noticed a grey/black film on the tile and our things in the bathroom. At first i thought it was a bad candle. So i wiped things down and waited.The morning after no candle we still had a coat of grey/black film. My husband then went to change the filter in his cpap machine and it was black. It continued to be black every morning. They sent someone to clean the vents, vents were in such disrepair that they couldn’t be cleaned, instead they needed to be replaced. It would be a fine place to stay if the hvac was replaced. Especially if anyone has respiratory issues. Don’t stay unless confirmation of hvac replacement.

Great Beach Cottage

This is a lovely and quite spacious cottage in a fabulous location. We have stayed here twice. The property manager (Cindy) is very responsive. Lots of storage space in the back for bikes and surf boards, easy parking in front, nice little backyard with a barbecue, and a very comfortable livingroom.

Great location!

This house was comfortable, but could be so much better. The landscaping needs some TLC. The linens need to be upgraded. The kitchen, though older, had all we needed. Our only complaint was the inconsistency of the hot water during showers. They did try to fix it quickly, but the shower would still go cold after a few minutes. It usually came back to hot, but not always. The house has a fully fenced backyard which was great for our dog. You couldn’t find a better location for the beach.

Loved!

We’ve stayed in this area many times and we’ve had great luck finding homes here. This one was another amazing find! It is spacious and had plenty of room for our surfboards, wetsuits, skateboards, and beach gear. We loved everything about this house and we were so sad when we had to leave. We hope to stay here again!!

HOME SWEET HOME

QUIET AND PEACEFUL RESTFUL, WITH SWEET SOUNDING BIRDS ...SINGING IN THE TREES. IN BACK PATIO. JUST WALK DOWN THE STREET AND BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF OCEAN AND CLIFFS. PELICANS GRACEFULLY FLYING IN THE AIR. BEAUTIFUL PARK ( DINASOUR PARK) A SHORT WALK FROM THE HOUSE. YOU ARE IN WALKING DISTANCE TO MANY SMALL TOWN ON THE MAIN ROAD. FOR ME IT WAS A PERFECT GETAWAY.MY DOG LOVED IT TOO :)

Beautiful location! Short walk to one of the best parks in the area

The home & location is perfect. The outside is covered in spider webs and there were numerous spiders inside the home. Upon arrival we found many kitchen utensils filthy with rotten food still on the surfaces as if they hadn’t even been properly cleaned at all. The hay style rugs were dirty & caused allergy issues leaving shedding all through out the home and on the furniture. I don’t believe they have ever been cleaned properly. We were charged an extra $150 cleaning fee because we hadn’t washed our linens or vacuumed the furniture before our check out, even tho there was no indication that was needed from us. All this being said, the property manager had excellent communication throughout our stay & the location is really unbeatable.

The first thing we did on arrival was rebook it for next season, and we are looking forward to our return. It is as advertised and the manager (Cindy) is terrific.

Charming in a Great Location

This charming home is in a lovely Shell Beach neighborhood. Great location for walking and bike rides. Only a few blocks to awesome shoreline views, restaurants and coffee house, and short drive to sandy beaches. The house is very well equipped, and was ideal for our stay of two months while we were house-hunting in the area. While only two of us stayed there, on a few weekends we were able to host guests and their dog, so we really appreciated the extra bedroom and bathroom. We loved the sunroom, the pretty front sitting room, the outdoor grill and charming country French decor. The kitchen is better supplied than most homes we have visited.

Amazing

We had an Amazing time at this rental property. Cindy was incredibly accommodating and so lovely. The entire house is decorated beautifully it has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed walking to the park into the Bluffs. We also enjoyed all of the little shops and restaurants that we could walk to. This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had.

The house is large yet cozy, and very efficient with its spaces and rooms. It’s a block from the cliffs and beach and a few minutes walk from good food and coffee! We felt right at home and can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay, the house is in a great location and interior was wonderful. Very quiet neighborhood and everyone in the area was so nice. Cindy was very accommodating, there was something missing from the kitchen and she promptly dropped it off at the house. It seems to be a vacation rental so it is very minimalistic and like The other review said the outside needs a little work, chairs in the front would be great as well as more seating in the back. We did have to wash off the outdoor furniture as it was dirty but it only took a moment to dry. New pillows in the beds would be great as well. Overall, we it was perfect place to walk around, enjoy the beach and relax!!! I would absolutely stay again!

Property manager is terrible, beware!

The interior of this property is pleasant but the exterior maintenance is a disaster. Thistles and spider webbs, weed overgrowth covering the yard. I spent thousands to brighten the front yard with flowers and lights. Foul odor coming from sink drain, no one had replaced air filter in a decade. To top it off, I was renting the place to care for local COVID patients and asked to extend my stay. I was denied and displaced by tourists by the heartless property manager. I'm the only COVID rehab physician in the county, and had to take days away from work to pack and move into an emergency hotel room. I can only hope the owner will read this and seek a new property manager immediately.
