Farm with a View is for anyone looking to relax and take a step back from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. One night on the Farm, will give you a sense of relaxation and peace you may have long forgotten. Located at almost 2000 ft., The Farm looks down upon the town of Fredericksburg. Located in-between Fredericksburg and Kerrville, 12 minutes SW from Main Street, near Kairos & Cabernet Grill; 10 minutes from Kerrville. The Farm is a perfect location for anyone entertaining groups of families or friends and is situated on 7 private gated acres, featuring several conversational areas to enjoy, both indoors and outdoors.

The pool is the center of attention at the Farm and is visible from almost every room in the house. With 3900 sq. ft. under roof, 2 master Suites and 2 large bedrooms, spectacular Great Room with Built-in Bar and Fireplace, Large Kitchen with Fireplace, 2 Dining Areas ( 1 inside and 1 outside) and a Large Family room, there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.

The 40' X 20' Large pool is situated off the Living room with a covered patio, Day bed, Chaise Lounges & a Fire-pit-Bar-B-Que, providing additional entertainment space.

Organic breakfast products provided include eggs, bacon/turkey bacon, biscuits, oatmeal, sugar, coffee & tea as well as a complimentary bottle of Organic Prosecco or Chardonnay.

Working in the hospitality field throughout our careers our goal is to give you the best possible experience at the Farm available while also keeping your safety in mind.

Beautiful property with a roomy house

We loved our stay at the Farm. It was so peaceful and the house was perfect for our group. The fire pit was great and the common areas were perfect for visiting. There was definitely a beautiful view and the deer were a treat. We enjoyed our organic breakfast too! We are definitely booking here again.

Fun in the sun

I can’t begin to explain how beautiful this property is. It is perfect for a little get away. I’m from Fredericksburg, and this property is a must book. Debra is VERY nice, too. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing but perfect!

The housekeeper loved the work too! We are so thankful that you booked at the Farm! You were all a blessing! I told you verbally- that you would not believe the scenery at the Farm- as it is very unique to Fredericksburg- sitting at almost 2000 ft. I am glad you were impressed and that you all had a great time! Spread the word- on May 15, Texas will be in Phase 2 and non-essential travel is allowed- freely- no restrictions. Many thanks again for the booking and being such great guests!

Amazing house for groups with great hospitality!

We loved this property. Old friends and I were reuniting for a highschool friends wedding and needed a place to stay that would fit our group. This house was perfect for this and we had such a great time here. Highly recommend! Debra was easy to communicate with and wants what is best for her clients! Would 100% stay again next time we are visiting!

Fun weekend!!!

Great, easy experience booking this property. The property itself is wonderful- lots of animal life, pls ty of gathering space for your group, but still big enough that you aren’t on top of each other. We are already planning our next trip to Farm with a View!!!

The 3 ring binders

The property was great. The expectations were stressful. We lost our last morning trying to trying to do laundry per instructions, put away dishes, etc per precise photo depictions, it was a lot to take in. We loved the property but it was pretty extra on the instructions.

Allison- So sorry to hear that you were under pressure, while at the Farm. Understand you are the first one to complain about the checkout procedure. Our desire is that all guests leave in an uplifted mood, having fully enjoyed all the Farm has to offer. The housekeepers disagree with your statement- FYI- and said that the dishes were not removed and put away, from the dishwasher, and that the cabinets were not organized per the “COVID Free Kitchen binder.” We also did allow you to have late check-out, as we now do with all guests, because of the COVID clean. So, we are not sure exactly what you are complaining about. Further, seems you did not read the Checkout instructions given, as you were not requested to wash towels (only pool towels if you had time) and you left the exterior patio lights on. Perhaps your complaint is in comparing a BNB to a Hotel? Since you are new to VRBO, with BNB’s, especially the size of our property, guest will be asked to perform a few tasks. Our instructions for a Quick Checkout are sent to all guests the morning of departure, with a copy of the written instructions provided in the Den. To be clear, and for the purpose of future guests, the instructions are as follows: Take all garbage out to main road bin. Turn on Dishwasher prior to leaving- putting dishes away is the job of the staff. Take all towels to laundry. If time, start a load of pool towels and must have time to put in dryer prior to leaving. Rinse off any pool floats used and leave out to dry- for staff to store. Turn off all lights Lock all doors Because of your complaint, we added the Checkout Instructions, under Rules and Regulations, so all guests will be informed of Checkout Duties, and as detailed above. Now you know that BNB’s require some participation by yourself, and they vary from owner –to- owner and by size of the BNB. Sorry again- that you were dissatisfied and hope we have clarified what your issue may have been.

Great Family Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed eating all of our meals outside by the pool. The pool was a hit with everyone. . We had four pairs of adults and three toddlers and there was room to spare. We plan to return!

Charming large house

Our experience for being 1 night was quite nice. It was relaxing. The house was huge. We were able to enjoy the pool the whole day. Only downside was there was no microwave. For some reason the vrbo messages were not being sent/received while being in town. Highly recommend this house.

Relaxing stay - beautiful property

We enjoyed our time at the ranch. Property was beautiful and very relaxing. Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed grilling and making s’mores in the evening. We had 12 in our group - adults and children. We would definitely come again!

Perfect Hill Country Getaway

Excellent place

Lovely place to stay and relax with friends. A rural retreat but close to fredricksburg with all its attractions. Debra was very helpful - particularly when there were some issues with inclement weather on our first night

Perfect Getaway

We so enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. It was large, roomy and every bed was comfortable, even the futon. It's Texas Hill Country at its best. From the views to the wildlife, it was all beautiful, comfortable and relaxing.

Farm with a View has the most incredible views we have ever seen in the Fredericksburg area. The area is full of wildlife and you never know what animals will turn up in the front yard.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Farm with a View will provide you with a very peaceful and tranquil place to create wonderful Holiday Memories with your family and friends. The home is so large, that several groups can be positioned throughout the inside and outside of the house for private or large gatherings.
The pool is heated with Solar heat from March-October. In the early and latter months, if you have super large floats, you should pack them to be able to enjoy the pool, as the water may be too cold to swim for lengths of time. There are several regular size floats for your use located in the pool house. We will advise you of the pool temperature, prior to your arrival.
