The space
The Main House || 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, game room
The heart of the main house is the expansive living room, where guests can unwind on plush seating, warmed by the fireplace and stone architecture. Meals can be enjoyed at the oversized dining table, offering a great spot for gathering and making memories. There is a fully equipped kitchen should you hire a professional chef or have a family cookout (chef-style gas range, blender, toaster, dishes/utensils, wine glasses, drip coffee pot + Keurig w/ coffee provided). Game area includes bar-style seating, cornhole, giant Jenga, board games, pool toys.

The Cowgirl Cabin || Studio style suite with king bed + 1 bathroom
Ideal for 2 guests, this is a private studio style cabin with a king size bed, personal tv + ensuite full bathroom. You’ll find rustic charm meets modern comfort, with hand painted wood floors, cowgirl memorabilia, blackout curtains, and luxury bedding. Located across the breezeway from the main house.

The Barn House || 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom + incredible sunroom
From the red barn exterior to the newly renovated kitchen, the Barn House exudes Hill Country charm from every corner. Just steps away from the main house, the barn house provides the perfect amount of space for traveling couples or friends. We had a weekend getaway before my daughter's wedding. The property along with the houses was absolutely breathtaking. The few concerns we had was the pool could of been alittle cleaners and we we're never able to get the hot tub to work so we able to use because it because it was alittle cool. Besides that the houses was absolutely beautiful loved the peacefulness.

Family time

The property is very nice. There was plenty of room for our group and it was very secluded in beautiful countryside. But there a few things that need to be addressed. The third gate to the property did not work and had to be left open the entire time we were there. Some horses came into the property and the kids could not be outside because they were aggressive..The kitchen sink sprayed the user with water when in use.The keurig coffee maker did not work , we had to bring the coffee maker out of the barn to use in main house. The cookie sheets were not fit for use and should be replaced The lock in the hallway bathroom came out of the wall. In the master bathroom sink, there was only hot water. Overall we liked this property but for the price , these things should not be experienced.

Peaceful Farmhouse

For our first time to visit Fredericksburg, we stayed at this peaceful farmhouse which had plenty of room for all 9 of us. There are three separate buildings, so we had lots of room to spread out and enjoy the tranquility of the hill country. We saw plenty of deer, bunnies and even an armadillo walking around the property. The kids enjoyed the pool while the adults were able to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. The host was super responsive and the only thing we regret is not having a few extra days to enjoy it. It is located a little off the beaten path, but that was part of the charm. If you aren’t into nature, or may be afraid of the occasional bug, then this may not be the place for you, but if you are ready to enjoy the peace and quiet away from the city, we highly recommend.

Great family getaway!

Such a lovely, peaceful getaway. Off the beaten path in a lovely setting and close enough to spend time in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. The kids loved the wildlife. We climbed Enchanted Rock, shopped in Fredericksburg, swam every day, walked on the property, and played lots of games. We had parents, kids and grandkids with us (8 adults and 4 kids). One family in the cabin, my parents in the small casita and two families in the main house. We all had our own space and plenty of gathering space as well. The host was very responsive to messages and heated the hot tub for us each evening. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay at Adobe Creek Ranch!

Family Retreat

The property was beautiful and the hosts were very easy to contact/responsive and the entire process very good and seamless. We’re giving 4 starts on cleanliness because at arrival - there was a bag of what appeared to be old food or something left at the main doorstep and it smelled very bad. We dealt with it, no big deal - but it was a bummer of a way to arrive after a long drive to the destination. We did inform the hosts and the apologized but still - I wanted to explain the rating given. A couple other small details - dishwashers didn’t work - the hosts did send someone out on Sunday, he was super nice and we felt bad for him having to come out, and in the end he couldn’t fix the dishwasher - again, not a huge deal, but a small detail that would have been nice if everything was tip top. All in all - the property was very cool - we spent lots of time in the pool and hot tub, the surrounding area is beautiful and the sunrises were spectacular. We would definitely consider staying here again with a group, hopefully some of the smaller issues get taken care of - I’m sure they will.

Poor management

We made numerous attempts to have someone repair different gates or buttons without having children crawl through to open them. Made multiple attempts to have someone come clean the cool and then find out it was all broke and dirty. Husband had to go buy brush and net for pool. We were told multiple times someone was coming to help and repair and never did.

Great place for family gathering!

This was a nice home with plenty of space to eat, hang out, and relax by the pool. Property owners were very responsive, communication was great, and home was clean.

Our group of SIX small families/couples had a fantastic time at this lovely property! We felt very comfortable and had plenty of space for the group. We loved hanging out in the pool and cooking large family dinners. The property manager was excellent to communicate with and responded to messages immediately. I would absolutely recommend to friends and family and would love to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful stay

The house was perfect and exactly as described. The pool and hot tub were also wonderful. My family had a wonderful experience, it was the perfect getaway. We would definitely do it again.

It was like a big hug

We offered a renewal of solitude, silence, time in nature and community time in the evenings over dinner, discussions, laughter, etc. One woman said the experience was like a big hug she hadn’t had since her parents passed away. The Adobe Creek House was ideally isolated and saturated with sweet singing birds and an occasional armadillo or deer sitting. The staff communicated well with me when we needed a question answered. Five stars in my book.

Amazing get away!!

This property was more than we hoped for and perfect for our crew. 3 separate houses made everyone extremely comfortable and welcomed. Anything we needed from our hosts was taken care immediately after communicating with them. The checkout expectations were super simply as well!! I will definitely be back!!

Family Get-Away

This is a great property for a large group to enjoy, especially families. Everyone can spread out or come together to enjoy your days whether in the main house or out on the patio with the pool and hot tub. I had read an earlier review that is correct there is no hot water in the bunk house so just know that. There was a small hiccup while we were there with the propane tank running out of propane but it did not diminish our family time together and has made for a good story of how we managed the night. The tank was filled the next day which was as soon as they could get the propane company out there. I believe this was more the management company and not the hosts but either way it was not a deal breaker on giving this place a good rating. And yes we would stay here again.

Beautiful Property, but had some problems

This is a 5 star property, but our experience there was not. The kitchen was outstanding, the view amazing , and we enjoyed the games, paths and swing set. It accommodated our group 14 well. However, be aware that the hot tub is controlled by the property manager, so you have to request that it be turned on every time you use it, then it only runs for a short time, and the jets were never turned on. Then, it didn’t work at all the day and night we designated to hang out in the back yard. If the hot tub is important for your stay, as it was to our group, I would think twice before booking. The manager gave a small credit, but not sure it made up for the loss. Also, the hot water was capped in one of the bathrooms due to a freeze the week before. I understand that things happen, but it would have been nice to be notified beforehand, as it would have affected who we put in that room. Losing the use of 1 of 4 showers for a large group is significant. Any other small issues we had were taken care of easily.

Loved the place! Stunning and Peaceful

My parents, fiancé, and a couple of friends stayed for the weekend and we had a small wedding on Saturday. The place was so beautiful and the beds are SO COMFORTABLE. The place was clean enough, but honestly could have been a lot cleaner. We did enjoy our stay!
