Family Vacation

We loved our family time and vacation. The host was amazing and helpful and answered my questions. Plenty of room and close to everything. Very clean and beautiful view. Only complaint was the water pressure. Nothing could be running water and someone shower or they had little water. Small price to pay and we figured out how to time everything!

Thanksgiving in the mountains

Excellent experience staying in this lovely quaint cabin in the woods , of the beaten paths . Quiet and peaceful- perfect to relax and spend quality time .

Great views

The cabin was well stocked and lovely. Has amazing views of the mountains and is very peaceful. It does need blackout curtains in downstairs bedrooms as the sun and full moon shine in. Would recommend it.

Family Trip

Nice house and great place for a family getaway. A map once off main road may be helpful, as our GPS wouldn’t pull it up, and it is very dark at night. The game room was nice to have, as it was VERY cold outside, and we stayed inside much of the time. One thing I would recommend, is an eye mask if you want to sleep in, in the 2 downstairs bedrooms. There are no curtains on the large windows/sliding glass doors, and the sun comes up early! Beautiful views from the back decks. The property manager was attentive, and the owner was kind enough to let us reschedule our visit, due to Covid hitting our family at Christmas.

Pretty good time

Property is definitely a cabin, and with that come cabin location expectations, like very low water pressure, wooded yard that needs some upkeep, not very comfortable porch furniture. Really wanted to just sit and rock and visit with my grands on the porch but it wasn’t that appealing. Kids did enjoy the pool table!!!

Lovely home, well apportioned

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. The wood trim and beams are beautiful. The house is larger than pictured online, which was a nice surprise. The pool table was a lot of fun. The hot tub is nice as well. There are large decks with nice forest and mountain vistas in the background. The one thing I recommend is a four-wheel-drive vehicle once you get to Cohutta neighborhood, as some of the gravel roads are rutted and worn; eventually they become fun to navigate. There’s a small local pond in the neighborhood replete with giant tadpoles and newts that is fun for kids of all ages. I would stay here again!

Quick Getaway

It's a nice property, good location. Outside is a bit unkempt, we did have to sweep the porches and clean the tables and chairs on the back porch, which isn't a big deal, but it would be nicer to just relax and the couches could use a good vacuuming. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, the pool table was well used and we all found the beds very comfy.

Great Getaway in Blue Ridge

We had a a great experience in our stay here. It’s remote enough with good walking trails to enjoy during the day, but close enough to town if you want to pop out to get dinner or get something at Walmart. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. We couldn’t get the hot tub to work which was just a bummer, but we had plenty to do otherwise. Would recommend booking if you are looking to get away from the noise!

Exceeded expectations

This home was in a perfect location. The floor plan worked out perfectly for our family of 5. The home was very clean and had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The property manager responded quickly to a few questions we had at the beginning of our stay. The views from the master and the back porch were beautiful. We would definitely choose this home again if we were to go back to blue ridge! Follow the directions given through VRBO. Our GPS took us too far up the mountain when we first arrived.

Wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful time at Belle Ridge. The house is beautiful and cozy and just as described. We spent lots of time playing pool and enjoying the fire and view. It was a bit tricky to find as we came in as the sun was setting and GPS took us in circles. Just an FYI, the E. Overbend sign is broken and down on the ground which we were able to see the next morning. My only suggestion and I don't even know if anything can be done about this, but it did take several hours for the house to heat up once we got there, but like I said we arrived at sunset, so colder. Not a complaint, just a note. We were fine dealing with it and were nice and toasty for the rest of the trip. Great family memories made! Thanks!

Nice and quiet with a beautiful view.

Our family had a great time. The property was nice, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the back porch sitting area out front. There are lots of trails nearby if you need to get outdoors and wander. Blue Ridge and Ellijay both offer lots of shops and dining. Also make sure to visit o e of the orchards nearby if the apples are in season.

Amazing Experience

We were looking for a place for our family to get away, disconnect, and have fun. This was the perfect place. Beautiful views and tons of games created the atmosphere we were looking for. The place was clean and very well outfitted. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to get away.

Excellent Stay

The cabin was clean, straight, and organized for guests. There was just everything you need there. One small hint: if you are going to sleep in bring a sleep mask the master bedroom wall is all glass! It is beautiful!

NOT WHAT WE WERE EXPECTING

My family and I were super excited to get away and enjoy some mountain time. First time using VRBO.....thought we found a great house Upon arrival, we walked into an uncleaned home. The garbage was overflowing from the last guests ..there was hair in the tub....the silverware in the drawer was dirty and clearly not washed. The coffee maker had dried coffee in it and smelled like it had never ever been cleaned....couldn't use it. (Thank goodness for the Starbucks that is 10 minutes away) Immediately called the property owner and he did have the cleaning girl come back....she emptied the garbage and wiped the hair out of the tub. The home has only 1 TV which is in the living room and does not work, nor did the ROKU. The house is extremely dark-and the light bulbs that did work were very dim. The fire pit is not really a pit but a cleared space in the front yard. (they do have wood for your use in the pit) Must be careful walking out to pit as there is a metal pole sticking 3 inches out of the ground) The grill is old and rotted and dirty so couldn't use it to cook. The view from the back porch is very pretty- although the torn screen allowed lots of bugs in. Speaking of bugs- there were bees/wasps inside the house; my son got stung twice (once while he was sleeping) and we killed about 10 bees/wasps while we were there. When i told the property manager he responded with "do you know what room they are coming from?" The living room furniture is minimal and OLD. There are no blinds on the master bedroom window so if you are a very early riser its perfect! There were 6 towels in the home...bring your own if you stay here. And the most important thing is that there are several copies of the front door key floating around town (new cleaners/old cleaners/handyman/neighbors...)so people are able to come in while you are staying there....made me quite uncomfortable. The property manager didn't care. There is also a downstairs which is blocked off to renters (which is totally understandable)...but having a surveillance camera is totally inappropriate and illegal. Property manager is very rude, demeaning and unhelpful. Instead of addressing issues himself he wanted me to reach out to people to fix stuff. Blue Ridge is an awesome town with lots to do and fun to be had...just stay somewhere else! Wish I could upload pictures.....

Great Weekend with Friends

Great 4 day get away with friends! This house was a great house. Though a little challenging to find at first. But we made it.. Spacious and Clean. We really enjoyed our stay. No complaints at all. With a few suggestions for the house. These are suggestions not complaints. Need window coverings over the deck bedroom and more comfortable Living Room furniture. With 6 people wasn't a lot of space together while chatting. With that being said. We would definitely rent this property again! Thank you for sharing the house. Beautiful view off the back deck. P.S. Nix the Negative review. It was a great place.

Great Memories

This is a very nice property. It feels like a custom cabin; we loved it! Our young boys had a blast hanging outside, swinging on the porch swing, hanging in the hot tub and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit. It’s a short distance from town and hiking trails. The house was well provisioned with everything we needed in the kitchen. From my 4 yr old to my 80 yr old mother in law; a fun time was had by all.
