Nestled on a peaceful country road, White Pine offers a cozy log cabin retreat set on 3 scenic acres, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The main floor features a comfortable bedroom with a queen-sized bed, with easy access to a wraparound deck where you can enjoy a morning coffee surrounded by nature. Upstairs, the loft includes a queen-sized bed and a second bathroom, along with a private balcony ideal for watching sunsets after a day of adventures. This cabin's prime location places you in the heart of Hocking Hills attractions. Just 15 minutes away is Lake Hope State Park. Historic Downtown Nelsonville is only 10 minutes away, offering charming shops and local eateries. The area is also home to renowned caves such as Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave, Cantwell Cliffs, and Rock House, all within a 20-25 minute drive. Wayne National Forest provides thousands of acres for hiking, mountain biking, and ATV riding along miles of scenic trails. Canoeing opportunities are just minutes away, and Ohio University is a short 20-minute drive for visitors seeking cultural experiences. On-site relaxation options include a private six-person hot tub perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. The cabin is equipped with cable TV and high-speed Wi-Fi that supports streaming your favorite shows. Most cell carriers provide service in the area, ensuring connectivity. The fully stocked kitchen features everything needed for preparing meals, including dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. An on-site gas grill is available for outdoor cooking, and a fire pit invites cozy evenings around the campfire. Open space around the property allows for games or hiking down to the creek at the back of the property. Dogs are welcome and can enjoy running freely in the fully fenced backyard, which offers plenty of space for them to play. The base rate covers two guests; each additional guest costs $25 per night. A minimum stay of two nights is required. A flat pet fee of $75 is required for guests with pets.

We had a blast at this place! Not only was it tucked away for privacy, but it was beautiful, cozy, clean, and relaxing! The host was amazing at answering any questions I had. The hot tub was clean, and the dogs loved the spacious back yard! If you're questioning renting this....DO IT!

Great place to bring your pet. Large fenced in backyard and had zero worries with our dog being out there. Just one negative we had, there was no extra toilet paper in the place than what was on the rolls, we ended up not needing more, but it got close.Overall it was a great stay, very clean, quiet, and felt safe

Our stay at White Pine was amazing! The house was very clean and organized. They provided us with everything we could need as far as cooking essentials and other house essentials goes. The hot tub was a really nice bonus. My dog loved having a whole fenced in yard to roam around in. We loved the wrap around porch. It was a very nice experience. Checking in was easy. The trip was a nice getaway. I'm not kidding when we decided 5 minutes after being there that we already wanted to come back. The price was a good deal especially when you can bring your furry pack member.

I have three dogs at this cabin we live in our city so we chose the cabin for the holiday on July 4 and they were so happy playing in that secured backyard. The cabin is decorated perfect everything that you actually need is provided and our hostess had kindness through her words when I had to communicate with her as I was nervous about getting there we had never done this before and she was super sweet with us cabins absolutely beautiful, and the horses that we got to see in the side yard were a thrilling bonus. It was wonderful to wake up to birds chirping.

The host, Erin, was very responsive and helpful when messaged. The inside of the cabin was spotless, very clean. The hot tub was also very clean. Plenty of towels, linens, soap etc. We traveled with our pets who loved the fenced yard. With all the good, why didn’t I give 5 stars? We had a bat problem on the front porch. Erin responded that it would be taken care of after we checked out. I hope that happens for the next renters. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience. Thank you.

Thank you for your great review. My apologies you experienced bats while staying at the cabin. Our biggest struggle is wildlife. We respect wildlife and try to keep as many critters away from the cabin as possible in a humane way. We have re-sealed the cavities that bats could get into, used bat deterrent spray and purchased another bat box to encourage bats to live in their home, away from the cabin.

The FENCED in Backyard!

This was a lovely cabin in a nice location. Other places we have stayed in the area are noisy, or cramped, or isolated. This felt like the goldilocks of cabins. Quiet and country, but not too far from local amenities, with that incredible fenced in back yard! We fell asleep to crickets every night. We ended up being rained out of most of our hiking plans, but the place was so cute we didn't mind at all and just enjoyed the wood oven. It ended up being a much more relaxing stay than we planned!
