Gulf View Home on Cape San Blas

Beach Days is the perfect vacation home where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy the beach as well as the surrounding area. With a freshly remodeled kitchen and family room, this lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom family home is pet friendly for dogs 50 lbs. or less and is set up with outdoor living in mind. This home has amazing Gulf views and is a few steps to the beach. There is also a covered wraparound deck with baby/doggy gates at both sets of stairs.

The main level features a kitchen/dining area, living room, and three bedrooms. The KING bedroom has a full private bath with dual sinks, a shower, and a tub. The Queen bedroom has a TV and full bath with a shower and pair of sinks. The third bedroom has Bunk Beds direct access to the second bath, a 50” TV, and a door that opens to the deck.

The top floor is an open loft with a dining table, futon, and TV. The best part of the loft is the wraparound windows with towering views of the Gulf and the Bay. You can catch amazing sunrises with a hot cup of coffee and evening cocktails with unforgettable sunsets from this comfortable area.

The spacious outdoor area features a private 12’ x 24’ pool with a 20’ x 42’ paver pool deck along with patio furniture, loungers, and a roomy covered deck with a bar and picnic area.

Outdoors, the property has a mostly fenced yard (the driveway is the only space not fenced in) to help keep your children and puppies safe. A propane as well as a charcoal grill are available. For your pleasure, there is also a fire pit on the beach side of the home with plenty of seating that’s perfect for those starlit evenings, roasting hot dogs, making S’mores, and creating unforgettable family memories. The upstairs rear covered deck overlooking the pool area has an outdoor dining set. The newly added beach side cantilevered deck is perfect for sunset viewing and stargazing.

There is covered concrete parking below the home along with plenty of extra vehicles or boat parking.

We enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to the beach. The pool was great, we used the firepit. All beds and rooms in the house were clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to stay in this house again

Perfect spot

We loved the short walk to the beach, watching the sun rise & set from the porch balconies. Quiet street, nice size pool, covered porch all around the house. Beach Days had everything we needed for a short trip to the Cape for two. Would definitely book again.

Great house in Cape San Blas

This property was perfect for our family vacation. Easy check-in and check-out. Great communication from the property manager. The house came with everything we needed. It is a very short walk to the beach. We loved the wrap around porch with dog/child gates.

Fantastic vacation by the beach!

The previous renters left a lot of trash in bin and not taken to the road causing large rats outside. The pool was dirty when we arrived. A great deal of hair and debris. The oven works sometimes.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Rest assured, the issues with the trash, pool maintenance, and oven functionality were promptly dealt with. Pool company hadn't made it by to service the pool before arrival but took care of the next day. Trash pick-up is on Mondays during this time of year. It was to be taken to Cape San Blas Road and picked up on that Monday. We would have been happy to pick up the trash and dump it if we were made aware that it was missed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Wonderful Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and property was 10/10. The pool was very clean and well maintained! The entire house and property was very clean and very kept up with. The only thing that wasn’t great was the beach access due to erosion. There was a 8ft+ straight drop at the end of the trail. My boyfriend and I are young and active and we STRUGGLED to get up and down. He had to pull me up every time we went back to the house, because I couldn’t make it back up. It’s almost impossible to take chairs or a cooler to the beach because of it. It could definitely use some stairs at the bottom like the other properties nearby.

Great Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our two families very much enjoyed our stay at Beach Days. The location is great - situated on a quiet street, right behind the row of beach front homes, with a very short walk to the sand. The pool and back deck setup was so enjoyable. The house comes with a storage unit filled with beach and pool equipment including a beach cart and double kayak. My only critique is a few more kitchen essentials like cooking spray would be helpful in case you didn’t bring any and the showers are a little tight, but other than that it was a really enjoyable stay.

Most rental properties aren't going to supply items like cooking spray, and a pre-arrival packet is sent out before check-in that list the items that you'll need to bring. This is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. It was perfect for us. The only negative was the pedestal sinks with one plug. The kitchen was fully stocked, fire pit was great. We didn’t use the beautiful pool it was to cold.

Nicely decorated/furnished and clean

It was only my friend and I for three nights. A lot of space for two people. We really enjoyed our stay. A few minor suggestions, but they are not complaints: No paper towels or dish soap to was by hand. I’m sure the check in packet said to bring them but it would’ve been great to have them provided. At least enough to get through for a couple of days. Maybe instead of the tiny bar soaps that were provided? Also a dish rack for drying. One of the plastic Adirondack chairs by the decorative kayak was broken in such a way that only sitting on it would reveal that surprise. Another “sit and be surprised moment“, the benches around the fire pit are about as stable as a bicycle. Other than those minor things, it is a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

Thank you for letting us know about the Adirondack chair and fire pit benches. Unfortunately, paper towels is not something that our company supplies and that is listed in the pre-arrival packet that is email to each guest.

Good location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, but I wouldn’t rent from Coastal Joe again. My biggest complaint is that they push, as an amenity, a $ credit with a beach gear rental company with which they are clearly affiliated. What they didn’t tell me, was that everything we rented was available in the unit, so I was scammed into paying twice. The house is clean enough for people who eat out. We cooked in most nights. There was grime in the oven that caused the oven to smoke and the grill was so filthy it was unusable. Pool was dirty at first. I notified CJ, about the pool, and they sent someone out 3 days later. At this price point, I expected much better.

Winter escape, remote working....perfection

Our little family, my husband and I and our two pups couldn’t have anticipated a more amazing place to stay. Not only did it feel like home, we were impressed by the fully stock lite hen utensils. The place was perfect for our needs and definitely somewhere we will come back to. There were of course small things that were out of our control that made for some challenge, it all in all, we had a wonderful time. Thank you Beach Days.

Perfect vacation

Everything we needed in the kitchen was supplied. Everything we needed to enjoy the beach was also at the house. Beach toys, beach chairs and a wagon to carry everything down to the beach which was an easy short walk. The gated wrap around deck was perfect for the dog. I will definitely be back.
