Great Getaway with a Lake View!

The Lake House provides a beautiful, relaxing space for a getaway in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. This home boasts a waterfront view, decks off the kitchen and master, game room with pool table, fire pit, fishing poles, and a tree-lined walking path around the lake (sorry no swimming or boating is allowed). It is 5 minutes to the airport and 10 miles from all downtown Wichita has to offer.

From the backyard and lake just steps from your sliding glass door, you will enjoy an abundance of wildlife, including a variety bird species, ducks and geese, blue heron, and an occasional eagle in the winter. In the spring, there are tons of baby bunnies hopping through the yard to greet you throughout the day.

Security Camera Disclosure: Please note that we have a security camera installed at the driveway and on the side of the house by the gate. They will be on and monitored occasionally. There are no cameras in private spaces or in the backyard. Per the City of Wichita short term rental regulations, the Lake House may accommodate a maximum of eight adults.

We had a great time for a long weekend getaway. I am from Tennessee, so would not call that a “lake” but it was a great house in a great location to everything we wanted to do. Thanks for a great house!!

The home was very comfortable, spacious and well supplied. We enjoyed the serene view of the lake, rabbits, squirrels and fireflies. The children loved the catch and release lake. They also enjoyed watching the little turtles swim and walking the path. Stephanie was very friendly and available immediately when needed. We are already planning to book it later this year when we come back to Wichita to visit family again. Thank you Stephanie and Keli!

Beautiful home and location!

This house was absolutely beautiful and the neighborhood was clean and well cared for. We had plenty of space for the eight of us to gather and visit with each other. Kelli, the host, was incredibly nice, helpful and accommodating. She was awesome to work with!

Top notch lakeside house in Wichita

A perfect stay. Spacious, comfortable, homey. Enjoyed the comfortable beds, lakeside location, and fire pit with room for a big group. Top notch and highly recommended.

Wichita stay

Kelli was communicative and professional. Her beautiful home met all of our needs. The backyard and lake access is the best part. My husband and sons caught several fish. The home has all amenities and laundry detergent. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. I hope to book the Lake view home again in the future.

Visit Family

The house was a perfect place for us as even though only 2 of us we like space. The backyard is great for even more people and a nice walkway around the lake. Everything you could need Pick up a few of your favorite groceries and you are done. It has games a pool table. I really like having a washer and dryer while traveling. We moved from Wichita 40 yrs ago but All of our family lives there Quiet area would stay again. I only have wonderful things to say about our stay and how comfortable we were. I always take my own sheets and never used them as the bed was very comfortable. It was hot and cold while we were there so used the heater and ac. Lots of towels soaps etc. And bunnies running around outside the house on Easter! Perfect.

Nice Neighborhood in West Wichita

Accommodating owners with fast response to any questions or concerns. House worked well for our extended family to attend a wedding in Maize and it was great to have us all stay together. Nice lake view out back and a very close play ground for the kids. House is equipped with just about anything you would need for your stay.

Perfect home away from home.

Check-in and check-out were super easy. We enjoyed the board game choices. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms for everyone of us. We had everything we needed and if we didnt have it, stores are nearby. Great location in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Loved staying at this house.

Fun Family Adventure

Great home with all the amenities of a well stocked kitchen to host our family. Close to our other family in the area. Really beautiful walks around the lake and a kids park right across from where we stayed.

My family rented this house to spend some quality time together. The house was fabulous! The location was perfect. Sitting on the deck, visiting was everyone’s favorite time. The hosts were fabulous as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend and would definitely book again.

Weekend Getaway for Friends

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation house. Property was as described and very clean. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the airport. Also close to museums, antique malls, outdoor markets, shopping, and restaurants. The crazy high heat has taken a toll on the landscape and lake but the outside decks, firepit and swing area was awesome.

We love the entire concept as travelers, but it means even more being hosts, especially when guests find as much joy being in our homes as we do! For us, no hotel has ever beat a great vacation rental. We hope you feel the same way.

We love everything about being vacation home hosts and have recently added the The Lake House to our small collection of rental properties in Wichita. When our next door neighbors decided to move, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase their house. We have extended family around the state and from California that visit frequently and also love being hosts, so buying the house next door made total sense. Plus, we love our neighborhood and our city, so we take great pride in sharing it with people visiting Wichita from all over the world.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

There are so many great features of this house. Our favorite thing about it has to be the great view from the deck out onto the lake. It's very peaceful to sit out and watch the wildlife or take a stroll around the neighborhood. There is great light throughout the house, comfortable beds and furniture, and the space is designed simply to feel like home so you can come in and make it your own for a few days.
