This beautiful 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath bayfront home is perfect for family vacations, awesome fishing trips to the coast with friends, or romantic getaways. The living room is lined with windows bringing Redfish Bay views into the house; you’ll feel your blood pressure drop just looking out at this tranquil setting.

Some of the best fishing in the coastal bend is literally out the door in Redfish Bay. Catch trout, redfish, flounder, and black drum from the private lighted pier behind the house. The famous Estes Flats fishing area is a short boat ride away or a few kayak paddles.

The home has soothing coastal colors with high-end finishes. Tortuga Sunrise features a large master suite with its own deck, and a king size bed which overlooks the bay and luxurious master bath with walk-in shower.  A second bedroom features a queen bed and sunset views. The bunk room has a twin/full bunk and a queen-size bed. These two bedrooms have separate vanities and toilets and share a tub shower combo. Just beautiful!

Downstairs you will find laundry room with a second refrigerator. Great for keeping all those drinks which always seem to take up too much room in the fridge.

Tortuga Sunrise features a large, fully fenced backyard, to safeguard children and dogs. So, grab your fishing pole and put a line in the water, sit back on the large deck and porch area and wait for the pole to bend. This can be done day and night on the lighted dock. Fishing under the lights is a fun way to end a relaxing day.

Even for non-fishermen, Sunrise is a perfect place to relax. There is great sightseeing from your deck for birds, porpoise and occasional sea turtles. The kids will enjoy seeing the boats going up and down the Intracoastal Waterway. Those up-close barges never get old. And sitting in the swing or hammock bathing in the breeze is almost addictive.

If you’re not an early riser, even for an exquisite sunrise, never fear. Tortuga Sunrise has some of the most breathtaking moonrises as well, especially when they are full.

This property is 10 minutes from the hub of downtown Rockport and its many special events, and 10 minutes from the Port A ferry, for playing on the beach.

Fishing Location Information: When you leave the house and cross the Intracoastal canal in search of redfish and trout the first stop would be the oyster reefs and islands in Estes Flats or Yucca Cut through Traylor Island. It is just a short boat ride less than 10 minutes to California Hole and the Klondike islands. This is a great place to catch trout and redfish. A short run across the main body of Aransas Bay is Mud Island and St Joseph’s Island, where the island helps break the typical south east breezes. If heading to Redfish Bay is in the plan, Hog island is on the way and a must stop, but don’t forget to fish the cut through the old terminal.  The reds sometimes hang in the cut, it’s not marked well so go slow so you don’t damage your prop.

If the weather is right fishing the jetties at Port Aransas is a lot of fun. You don’t know what you’ll catch and it’s a short 20 minutes boat ride from the house.

If you don’t have a boat, the islands in Estes Flats are easily accessible by kayak. There are lots of sand pockets on the way to Small Cut and Yucca Cut and places that most boats with motors can’t go.

Cancellations: Changes or cancellations to reservations less than 30 days must be done 14 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. Monthly rentals must be canceled 30 days prior to arrival to receive a refund. Monthly rentals canceled within 30 days of arrival will forfeit the first month's rent and processing fees. For reservations made less than 14 days of arrival, you have 24 hours from the time that you made your reservation to cancel or shorten your stay.
