Walk to Coast Guard Beach! Peaceful Vacation

From Mid June through Labor Day, Summer Rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Nestled In the Cape Cod National Seashore. Enjoy this secluded cottage style apartment; only 0.2 (two tenths) of a mile from Coast Guard Beach. Another mile north along Ocean View Drive you will find Nauset Light, and the Three Sisters Lighthouses. A European Copper Beach Tree welcomes you to our home and offers shade on a hot day. A rose covered rock wall gives a feeling of Cape Cod so many years ago. Guests can walk to the beach, go for hikes, bike rides, or kayak adventures nearby. The interior of the apartment has a living room with a Vermont Cast-Iron gas stove for off season warmth. Three large windows gives an open roomy effect. There is SMART TV with Antenna service. The newly renovated kitchen (2023) is completely functional and has a gas stove, microwave, and new (2023) refridgerator. The bath on the first floor includes a stackable washer/dryer. Two small bedrooms are up the narrow staircase; each has a double size bed. There are small window A/C in the bedrooms. NO air conditioning downstairs, but fans are provided. In the summer season we usually will only accept full week rentals, Saturday to Saturday. Thank you for understanding.

There is a small patio with a gas grill, and a small, rather private deck which includes an outside shower.

Very nearby is a bike trail that leads to The Salt Pond Visitors Center just a mile up the road. Here one may find natural resources and information, as well as organized canoe or kayak adventures (in season), and a great little gift shop.

Options within a mile or two are too many to list; but a few are: An Athletic Club, Drive In Theatre, Movie Theater, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Famous Cape Cod Flea Market, Golf, Tennis courts and more. Please come and enjoy the natural surroundings and/or tourist attractions of the cape.

Immaculate little slice of heaven within walking/biking distance to Coast Guard Beach. I know other reviews have mentioned it, but the outside shower was definitely a bonus. The overall location is perfect for a quick trip up to P-town or down to Hyannis! The hosts were definitely the best ever and we plan to return.

Great little place in Eastham...

The guest house was great--private and peaceful and had all the amenities I needed. The location was a quick walk to Coast Guard Beach which allowed me to get to the beach in just a couple of minutes any time of day which was really convenient--no parking hassles or shuttle needed.Suzie was a great host and offered to help with anything I might need.

Location location location.

Equidistant to cape cod beaches—ponds. National seashore. And all bay beaches in eastham. Quiet. There are stairs and bath on first floor. BUT wonderful outdoor shower.

The cottage has everything you could possibly want to make an enjoyable visit! Beautiful, newly done, eat in kitchen, comfy beds, large living room and TV. There’s even a washer, dryer. It’s very quiet and peaceful unless you stop and listen to the sound of the ocean waves. The beach is just an easy walk down the road. What a fun beach for swimming or just flow with the waves. On the beach you can walk for miles and miles and see that every wave is different and magical! The hostess, Suzie, makes me smile! She’ll do whatever she can to make your stay complete! We love Cape Cod and ‘Walk to Coast Guard Beach’ is the place to enjoy it from!

Private apartment in great location

Great location walkable to Coast Guard Beach. Property is set back from the road, so very quiet. Easy drive to other Outer Cape locations like PTown, Truro, and WellFleet. Suzi and her family were very welcoming and attentive but also gave us plenty of space. Overall a great stay.

Beach retreat

My husband, daughter and I loved our time at this well equipped, immaculate little cottage nestled in the woods. Suzanne and her husband were kind and unobtrusive hosts. We loved the easy walk to Coast Guard beach and the convenience of the nearby bike trail. And the outdoor shower ( the most well designed I’ve experienced) was a refreshing treat after our adventures. We’d love to stay again!

Perfect location

Our stay at Suzi's place was perfect. Central Cape location was easy to get to everywhere. It was nice to be able to walk to Coast Guard Beach. The apartment was the perfect size and had everything we needed. Thank you.

Great location!

Suzie was wonderful--friendly, accommodating and helpful. The house was located VERY close to the National Seashore and the Cape Cod bike trail. We appreciated how peaceful the yard was and we liked having a washer & dryer.

Perfect Location and Welcoming Hosts

We loved the central location for all we wanted to do on Cape Cod. The cottage apartment is very relaxing and peaceful. Coffee on the small patio in the back and watching the wild turkey cross the lawn was fun! Our hosts, Suzie and Dan (and Cricket) were awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer.

A cozy retreat

Suzie's place (and Suzie!) is remarkable -- this home is in an ideal location for exploring the Cape, within walking distance to the Atlantic, yet quiet and secluded. This rental is very comfortable, well-appointed and simply delightful (we loved the gas fireplace stove!) Our host made us feel most welcome and recommended good restaurants in the area. We liked this property so much, we booked our next year's stay before we even left!

We absolutely adored our stay at this charming cottage in Eastham! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage itself is incredibly cute and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was also exceptionally well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to beach towels – they truly thought of everything!What truly made our stay fabulous were the hosts. They were genuinely the nicest people, incredibly welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Their hospitality made a significant difference and added so much to our vacation.The location is unbeatable! We loved being just a few minutes' walk from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for morning strolls and sunset views. Plus, being so close to the bike paths was a huge bonus for exploring the beautiful surroundings.We highly, highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a fantastic and memorable stay in Eastham. Cozy week by the beach

My family had a lovely stay at this very comfortable property. Suzie was very easy to communicate with and responsive. The property was clean and just what we wanted. Short walk to Coast Guard Beach (note: bring good bug spray!). Thoughtful touches on items I wouldn't think to bring (like sugar, trash bags)

Great place! Walking distance to coast guard beach

We spent a week here with our 2.5yr old and this place was so perfect for us. Suzie is a wonderful host and so helpful with suggestions for anyone visiting the area. We really enjoyed our week here. We took full advantage of Coast guard beach which is a short walk away and nauset light beach was a nice evening visit at just a mile or so down the road. Suzie suggested Skaket beach which was a total gem at low tide and sunset. We highly recommend this to anyone seeking a peaceful stay close to the ocean and manageable distance to chatham and provincetown

Wonderful stay

We stayed for the weekend and wished we could've stayed longer! The apartment is cute, comfortable and perfectly appointed. The location can't be beat as it is minutes away from Coast Guard beach, the bike path and the Salt Pond Visitor center. The bike path provided a beautiful walking route. We were able to head out for dinner with ease and plenty of options. The hostess, Suzie, was available and kind. We highly recommend this rental.

Perfection!

Everything was perfect! Coming in from the beach on a fall afternoon and into the coziness of this apartment was so comforting! Not to mention the homemade pumpkin bread that created us on arrival. The apartment was in pristine condition and decorated beautifully. Suzie is the sweetest! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience!

Everything about our stay was amazing. The apartment is clean, cozy, and private. Being able to walk so easily to the beach is awesome, especially when the parking lots fill up so often, and the bike trail is really close by. Suzie and Dan are absolutely the best hosts ever, warm, respectful, and genuinely lovely people. We've rented a number of homes through VRBO and airbnb, and this was without a doubt the best experience we've ever had. Can't wait to go back!!

Perfect vacation spot

We have stayed here several years in a row -- each vacation better than the last! For us, this place offers the best of the Cape: wonderful owners, great accomodations, easy access to restaurants, theaters, art galleries, balanced by the serenity and privacy of this "cottage". There is nothing like coming from a wonderful morning at the hot beach to the shaded privacy of your own little patio where there is almost always a breeze. My husband and I feel this place is perfect for the two of us. We highly recommend it -- unless, of course, you want to try to come during our weeks !

quiet, and close to everything

Located set back from the road, this property was very quiet (day and night), but still very close to activities, restaurants, and one of the best beaches in the Cape. My wife, and 3 year old daughter really had a great time. The owners were friendly and available if needed, but certainly weren't overbearing. This is one of the better rentals we've had over the years. We never stay in the same place twice, but we may make an exception for this property. Highly recommended.

Lovely attached unit close to the beach

Cozy, mini-apartment attached to the host's house on a well-planted property just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Kitchen is newly renovated and well-equipped. Seating areas on back deck and by the grill. Easy walk to the beach or lighthouse; slightly longer walk to Cape Code seashore trails. Perfect for a quiet weekend of hiking, beaching and reading. Suzi is a delightful hostess, eager to make sure all is working, but also respectful of your desired level of privacy.

I Found Heaven

If you love to walk for miles on empty beaches, listen for birds, bicycle for miles and miles on bike trails, and have total privacy, including an outdoor shower in a wide open sky, this place is for you. Literally a 5 minute walk to the ocean, which you can roar at night if the wind is in the right direction. The place could not be more comfortable, the kitchen has superb pans and good knives. The outside deck is perfect for meals and reading. As another person said who stayed here: I will be back! Thanks to Suzanne and Dan who clearly love their little peace of heaven.

My husband, Daniel and I moved into this home in 1996. Prior to us it was in the family since the early 1970's when my brother, a sea captain bought this home and brought it back to life. We raised our 3 sons here, and tried to make it a friendly, welcoming, peaceful place to visit.
