Sit on the front patio and enjoy the hustle and bustle as tourist from around the country enjoy shopping in downtown Blue Ridge. 

This high class, well-appointed suite is situated just off of the East Main Street, Blue Ridge's busy downtown shopping strip! Cozy up on the king bed and relax in the ambiance the electric fireplace exudes. The suite includes a kitchenette (only has mini fridge, microwave, small sink), 55" TV, private bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower, and exclusive access to downtown Blue Ridge. Please note this property is all in one room (not including the bathroom) and should be compared to as a 4-star hotel room.

Access to this cabin is simple, but it is important to note the possible presence of renters in the "Main Street Cottage" on the upper level of this property. Although you would be sharing a common parking area, each of you has your own private entrance with no accessibility to each other inside the units. They are completely separate! Guest will only travel across the large deck to and from the parking area.

Location was fabulous! Could walk around Blue Ridge easily. Place was decorated well. Shower amazing! Disappointed that there wasn’t any coffee for mornings we just wanted to stay in. And there was only 1 coffee mug so only one of us could drink it anyway!

Blue Ridge Main St Suite

First the good - the location was incredible and the suite was cozy and as advertised. We were able to walk to a huge number of things we wanted to do, and had entire days where we didn't touch the car.However, we had a number of issues present that, despite the location, will send me across the street to a proper hotel next time. First, the code we were sent for access was incorrect, and we had to run around trying multiple doors and multiple codes before the after-hours line gave us an 'emergency' code so we could finally enter the unit. Next, the unit had a dehumidifier running LOUDLY, with a broken fan or something inside. A bit of messing with the trays and inserts would quite it for a while, but it would go back to a very loud rattle after a bit. We had to unplug it to sleep. We made the mistake of leaving it unplugged for a day early in our stay, and came back to a unit that smelled HEAVILY of mildew and mold. We had ants coming up through cracks in the bathroom tiles. We had to call and spefically request access to the attached laundry unit, as the information was not included in the listing, despite pods being part of the amenities provided. We also had to go out and purchase new toilet paper, because the unit only has one roll supplied for our five day stay. While the location was amazing, the hospitality issues easily put this location on the "do not re-book" list.

Relaxing getaway

Loved the property and location. However, when the upstairs renter came mid-week the noise from upstairs was a bit annoying. We were woken up in the morning by the heavy footsteps from upstairs.

Perfect location

Great location in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge! We were able to easily walk to meet up with our wine tour bus and the rail car bikes that we scheduled. Loved sitting outside in the evenings playing cards.

Great location

We stayed for an anniversary trip for the weekend. Perfect location to walk the whole downtown. We never used our vehicle to go anywhere except for the vineyards. Very clean plan on staying again in the fall

Quick getawy

We just took a few days off. We took the train trip so we knew we weren’t going to be hanging out in the room very much. If we were staying longer, we would have gotten the upstairs suite with full kitchen. Everything looked great. The only downside was the bed is super soft. But that’s just our preference. It was lovely.

Confused at arrival but great stay

Address and numbers, location, parking confusing. Door lock entry not as communications said. No notice that AC was from a remote. But moved car to street as steps were tough on old people from parking area. After getting settled we loved the place. Walk to downtown restaurants, shops, train, etc. great stay. Will come back

Great location

Fun little couple getaway. We stayed in the basement apartment which looked out onto main st. This one room apt was clean and very nice. Bathroom was tiled and very nice. The communication from the host said not to trust GPS and to follow their directions, but I couldn’t find their directions. There was also two different addresses mentioned for the rental. I searched the two addresses and could tell by satellite photos which was correct. GPS got us to the house, but we had no idea where to park. After driving through various private drives we found the parking hidden away in the backyard of another house. Listing wasn’t clear this was a double unit, and we were unsure which unit we were in. We were given a code to use on the door which included a digit not on the door locks. I went upstairs and down trying various codes and couldn’t get in. Called host and got voicemail. I left a message saying we couldn’t get in. We walked down to the road in front of the house and found a board advertising both units. Recognized photos from the listing indicating we had the downstairs unit. Went back and kept trying variations to open the lock and finally got in. Last digit was a check mark instead of the asterisk in the instructions. I am giving high ratings because once we got in this was a great place where we would happily stay again. It was so much fun to sit on the front porch watching people pass by. We could walk out onto Main and easily get to all the fun locales!

Cozy cabin

Great location for touring downtown Blue Ridge. Cozy cabin set up cute. The owners need to have enough dishes for 2. There was only 1 plate. Also, would have been great to have a regular table with chair backs, but that’s preference. A list of local eateries or area attractions would be helpful. Overall was a nice getaway.

Location

The convenience of being right on Main Street and walking to shops and restaurants and the train was ideal! That and the comfort of the suite added much to our enjoyment of Blue Ridge.

Perfect for Blues & BBQ weekend

We’ve attended the Blues & BBQ for a few years now & this was the perfect location! Parked our car, checked in & was able to walk to everything. Place is perfect for a couple…clean, comfortable & has all that we needed. We did have a small problem checking in; the number didn’t work. Called the office & was helped in minutes. We loved the place & hope to rent again in the future!

Great location!

This property was perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed our stay at the location. We could walk all over the downtown blue ridge and never had to drive or pay for parking.

enjoyed the convenience to downtown was so nice to walk downtown etc. Only downside is we checked in late and the code in our email was wrong. I do wish they gave water because everything closes so early that we had no water when we arrived.
