One level FL Beach Cottage, 3rd house from Beach Path on N end of Lido Beach. This is a rare find in a nice quiet neighborhood, steps away from spectacular sunsets, fine dining and shopping! Our guests rave it is the perfect cottage to enjoy multi-generation families and friends - the cottage's layout truly caters to quiet bedrooms and plenty of gathering spaces.

Ideally located, 3rd House from the beach path and 3 blocks from the highly sought after St Armands Circle - the location cannot be beat! Private parking for up to 5 cars. No need to drive anywhere. Steps to beach to enjoy lazy days and spectacular sunsets. Five minute walk to St. Armands Circle where you can shop, dine, and enjoy live entertainment.

This roomy home sleeps 10: 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, one with bathtub, the other two with showers. Crystal clean private pool in fenced backyard, outdoor patio table (seats 8) w/umbrella & high-end poolside chaises/chairs plus Weber BBQ grill (propane provided) - great for outdoor entertaining and star gazing, . The Cottage has durable and clean vinyl plank flooring, fully equipped kitchen for entertaining, leather couch and swivel/rocking leather chairs, and two tables (one seats 8, the other 4) to eat, play games and visit. There is also a desk for remote work/schooling with high speed internet throughout. 4 bedrooms including Tommy Bahama king bedroom suite with private bath/shower, Large king bedroom and a smaller queen bedroom share a Jack n Jill full bath; the 4th extra large bedroom has two queen beds with a shower/bath directly across the hall. Each bed has a luxury mattress, high-end coverlets, high thread count linens and premium towels/wash cloths, and extra pillows and blankets, and blow dryers for your comfort. King bedrooms have Smart TVs and a large screen Smart TV in the Living area. High speed Internet and cable TV throughout.

Amenities include a one car garage, comfortable beach chairs, high quality beach towels and an umbrella for your use during your stay and heavy duty beach wagon to carry your things to the beach. Commercial grade, large capacity washer/dryer, Free Hi Speed Internet WiFi and premium cable channels, heated pool, games and books are there for your use and enjoyment! I can't say enough good things about this place. We had 6 adults, 21-56, and a 6 year old, 5 year old and 8 month old. The cottage was spacious to accommodate our needs. It had all the amenities you would need in a vacation home. The location was spectacular for a short walk to the beach and St. Armands Circle, not to mention the airport was only 16 minutes from this peace of paradise. Having pool was ideal for having young ones, as well. The owners were so very helpful in answering questions in a timely manner and making sure are needs were met. If you are looking for space, location and pool, look no further and book;) You won't be disappointed

Quiet, relaxing and prefect!

The home was a perfect layout and size for our vacation. Every room in the home was clean and well put together. The pool was cleaned and well maintained, we loved relaxing in the back! The neighborhood was quiet even though it was by the beach and Armand Circle. Weā€™d definitely rent again. Canā€™t say this enough, loved the pool and outdoor patio. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

This was the 3rd time weā€™ve stayed at Pelican Cottage on Lido Key. We absolutely love this home! The house is perfect for our family of 5 travelers and our dog. The in-ground pool area in the back is the perfect place to relax after hours at the beach! Fabulous locationā€¦ walking distance to Armand Circle with a variety of shops, restaurants and ice cream spots. The Gulf is a short 5-10 minute walk from the front door. We just left and are already looking forward to next summerā€™s vacation!!

This is a fantastic property. The size of the property is misleading from the outside as you enter into a very large living space which leads to dining area and very well equipped kitchen. The 4 bedrooms are very large and have lots of storage.The outside space has a generous pool with seats and sun loungers and a separate dining area.The proximity to the beach is great as it is just a short walk and Armands Circle is also close by with an abundance of shops and restaurants.The property was spotlessly clean on our arrival with everything in working order.I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be coming back.

Annual Family trip

The house was perfect for our annual family trip to the beach! We have 3 grandchildren ages 8-14 who loved the pool! Location was perfect! The private path to the beach was very convenient and we loved the quiet beach! The house was within walking distance to the city circle so we didnā€™t have to drive anywhere once we arrived, if we didnā€™t want to. There were plenty of restaurants, shopping, and ice cream/candy shops. The only drawback was not having any kind of grocery or convenience store on the island. We did make a couple of trips to the Publix but it was a very short drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

We loved our stay at this home. It was very clean, well stocked with pool towels and all the supplies you need for the beach. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans and essentials to enjoy grilling outside. The Weber grill worked great and the outside area has plenty of seating and umbrellas to relax after the beach. The pool temp was divine! We hope we can come back again soon.

It was a beautiful property

This was perfect for our family group. The kids loved the pool and there was lots of space inside as well. The bedrooms are large and thereā€™s three bathrooms, which is great when you have that many kids with you. The owners were very communicative and very helpful.

Great friends vacation

The rental was outstanding and in a great location. It was close to the beaches and just a short walk to many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed having the pool. We were glad the owner took the time to check on us which is not always the case. this was a five stars plus stay!!!

Pelican Cottage Excellence!

We have traveled around Florida. Stayed at varied VRBO properties.This was the best all around! I did not have to clean in advance of unpacking! Our month long "home" was spotless! A very easy walk to the lovely beach and to great shopping at St. Armands!The owners thought of everything! Dishes, supplies, games and books!Thank you Ed & Deb! We will be happy to share this wonderful experience!And now we are back to the cold of Pa.and wishing we had stayed longer!

Another great vacation in Lido Key

My wife, children, and their significant others have been going to Lido Key for many years. This is our first time staying at this cottage. We love the area and have stayed in the same neighborhood previously. The cottage is great. Beds are comfortable, close walk to town and the beach. The beach toys and equipment were far above what is typically found in a vacation rental property We will definitely be going back. We had one small issue and the owner was very easy to reach and took care of the problem quickly

Lido Pelican Cottage is just the right size for family and friend gatherings with so much to do within walking distance of the home. This is the perfect vacation spot for the family and friends with multiple and diverse interests!

Expertly outfitted for your comfort, you can grab the beach buggy, load up the chairs, toys and towels and walk down the sand dune path to the beach, OR you can stroll to St Armands Circle, where you can shop, grab a burger or enjoy fine French, Columbian, Asian Fusion or fresh seafood dinner , get ice cream, listen to live music, dance under the stars and enjoy the seasonal festivals that come to the Circle OR you can grab one of the three bicycles and ride around Lido Key, Longboat Key, or even cross the bridge to Sarasota. You can also ride to the other side of Lido Key, where you can rent kayaks and take a guided tour through the mangroves, spotting manatees, dolphins, rays and lots of fish and crabs that live in the bay. Jet skiing rental is also available close by.

Close by is the world renown Mote Aquarium (also on Lido Key!), downtown Sarasota (which has blocks and blocks of dining, shopping, live music, outdoor dancing, etc.), and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Of course there is also the Ringling Museum, the world ranked Ringling school of art and design. Several playhouses, opera house, ballet company, and impressive shows at the Van Wetzel!

For those with a cultural bent, Sarasota (only a 5 minute car/bus/trolley ride) has world class museums, ballet, opera, and symphony companies as well as great entertainment options such as comedy clubs, live music venues, and a wide variety of cuisine options. Advance reservations/tickets are recommended as this area is teeming with artists and art aficionados! (Fun Fact: Sarasota was the winter home for the Ringling & Barnum & Bailey Circus and is the home of world class Ringling School of Art and Design)

If you love the outdoors, Lido Key has much to offer, from kayaking in the mangroves, walking through the North Lido Nature Preserve, sailing, golfing, Bay or Deep Sea Fishing, even basketball is nearby!
