Welcome to the Pineapple House Sarasota where location, quality, cleanliness and relaxation are key. Enjoy the private POOL and HOT TUB in your own tropical oasis backyard while being only 5 mile drive to two world renowned white sand beaches (Siesta Key Beach and Lido Key Beach). Conveniently located between downtown Sarasota and Siesta Key. Located blocks from the free Breeze Rider* and Bay Runner* open air trolley stop that services downtown Sarasota and Siesta Key village and beach. Walkable to local restaurants and shops.

• Primary bedroom has a KING BED and ensuite bath with walk in shower

• Secondary bedroom has TWIN over FULL bunk with a TWIN trundle.
• Hall bath with a tub/shower.
• Kitchen is nicely stocked including Vitamix blender, pots and pans, mixer, dishes, etc.
• Garage has beach chairs, cart and beach umbrellas, bikes, a second refrigerator, yard games and pool floats.

Location Location Location…. Best of both worlds…
• Beaches - Only 5 miles to the large SIESTA KEY BEACH parking lot and 6 miles to LIDO KEY BEACH. Free parking at beaches or hop on Breeze Rider open air trolley that connects Siesta Key and downtown Sarasota. Closest pickup is a .4 mile walk on trail or .8 mile drive
• Paved trail on east side of house - walkable to local restaurants, grocery and shopping
• Downtown - 2.5 miles to famous Downton Sarasota restaurants, shopping, arts and nightlife.

Beaches - both beaches have large FREE public parking lots and a concession stand with good hot food and refreshing frozen drinks (including alcoholic). Siesta Key Beach's sand is 99% quartz, which makes it white and powder soft. Siesta Key has two lively areas for dining..... The Siesta Key village and an another area by the South bridge. Be sure to visit the Siesta key Village and also Saint Armands for great shopping. Check out Breeze Rider* and Bay Runner* for free open air trolley ride from nearby stop to all of these places! LIDO KEY is an exciting spot with lots to do including kayaking/stand up paddle boarding in the mangroves, hang out at Lido beach or stroll around the restaurants and stores of St Armands Circle.

Grab your FISHING pole and head to the water, just 1.3 miles to the Siesta Dr - north bridge for fishing. Several great fishing spots in the area, please let me know and I can give you more details!

DOWNTOWN - Whole Foods and farmers market and too many restaurants to name such as: Marina Jack’s, O’Leary Tiki Bar and grill, Owen’s Fish Camp, Duval's, Boca, etc.... a fun area to walk around and dine. Theater and arts are big in Sarasota. Check out the local theater events and shows. You can also take sightseeing boat cruises from the marina.

Family of four (mom/dad7yo2yo) Host is amazing! Accommodated our request for an early check in to get us into the home in time for the toddler to take a nap! Home was clean, access (key code) was easy peasy and the kitchen well stocked. There was even those “oh we forgot” bathroom items which came in handy. We used all the beach essentials and loved that we didn’t have to mess with renting anything. Owner was receptive to input and was communicative without being overkill. She touched base to ensure all was well but didn’t really bug us with anything unless prompted. Check out was a breeze.We loved the quiet neighborhood vibe, walking path, nearby Aldi and great restaurants within walking distance (Baker Wife). Even tough out next adventure will take us somewhere else, we’d stay here again in a breeze! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the pineapple house. It was clean and well equipped with anything we needed. The location is great to go to Siesta Key, Lido beach and UTC. The pool was a hit with my daughter and having pool floats and toys was a huge help. The hot tub was great to relax in at night when it got a little cooler. We hope to make a return visit sooner than later. Christine is a great host with superb communication.

Hot tub was great. All the beach amenities were SOOO helpful. This house had everything you could need - towels, chairs, bikes, umbrella, a cooler. The pool was super clean. We loved the pineapple house!!!

The house was lovely and perfect location for what we needed which was to explore the nearby beaches . It was exactly as described and lots of things available to use . The only issue we had were we arrived on Sunday and the pool was really dirty and not cleaned until the Tuesday, but once it was cleaned it was good. Bins outside in the garden were not collected until following Friday , they were full when we arrived and the smell was really bad, they were infested with maggots and flies . Under the beds was not clean and there were items of clothing left from previous occupants in drawers .We had an issue with the app and therefore could not contact the host . I tried the phone number supplied on a number of occasions but no reply . I also contacted VRBO and asked for them to forward messages on, and contact the host on our behalf to let them know we were struggling to read messages or communicate. They passed on the emails which had been sent, but would not contact the host on our behalf and give them alternative contact details. This was disappointing .

My family and I stayed here for a week and it was absolutely incredible. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood close to everything!! The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pool was perfect for my kids! Everything was so clean too!! Can’t wait to book again!

Awesome house and location!

This house was perfect for our family. The pool was great for the kids. The house was stocked with kitchen amenities, bathroom supplies, pool toys, beach gear and bikes. Bikes were awesome! Second refrigerator too! Located in a quiet neighborhood and on a short greenway. Perfect entertainment and a short drive to the best beaches!

Great stay!

We booked this property to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. We had a great time! Definitely enjoyed the pool to escape the heat as well as the closeness to the beach and great restaurants nearby. The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host is great, answered any questions promptly. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay

This was our second stay at the property and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We like everything about this property. The house has a nice layout and the backyard is secluded and private The pool is large and the large umbrellas are a nice touch. The umbrella on the east end of the pool can be opened to shade part of the pool until midday. The property is in a good location close to several restaurants. Highly recommended.

Second year in a row staying here for a week. The place was even better than last with a new fridge and new touches around the property. The backyard was just as fantastic. Communication with the owner is always top notch. The location is 15 minutes from just about anywhere you want to go in the area.

Awesome place! Quiet neighborhood! Great central location! Fantastic pool and hot tub! Everything you could possibly need at the home! Host is super communicative and if you need anything she responds almost instantly! Our 12 year old daughter was so sad to leave as were we! Can’t wait to come back!

Great Experience

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pineapples House. The property is very well maintained, clean and provides everything you need and more to accommodate your stay. Location is very centralized, everything is within 4 miles. We were able to bike down to the water, drive to siesta key beach in minutes and we’re close by some great Restaurants including our favorite, Tralia Pizza in Gulf Gate. Highly recommend this property, we’ll be back!

New favorite vacation spot!

My wife and I had an incredible stay here. We love the Sarasota area and this house was just perfect. The pool was our favorite part. Everything was clean, well organized & the owner had great communication. We will definitely be staying here again in the future! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing place!

The pineapple house was one of the best equipped short-term rentals I've had the pleasure to stay in, and I've stayed in many. The house was impeccably clean, well stocked, and the outdoor space was fabulous. The hot tub and pool was a great treat after hours of playing golf in the Florida sun. I highly recommend the short term rental and will return many times when I visit Florida.

Spring break vacation

My husband and 3 teenagers had the best time. The house is exactly as described. It’s a beautiful home, inside and out. It is fully stocked with everything you would need and was very clean!! The host was very accommodating and helpful. Beaches, shopping, restaurants and fishing are all a short drive away.

Spring Break

We traveled to Sarasota for Spring Break 2025. The house, pool, and property was very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you would need for a week long stay. We appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, & pool/sand toys. Nicely located between Siesta Key and Lido Beach. Both have beautiful beaches and some great restaurants. Christine was a great hostess checking several times making sure everything was ok. We had a family of four, including 2 teenagers. The house was plenty big for our family and we loved the pool/hot tub for quiet days at home or evenings after a day at the beach. We would highly recommend this property.

Quick Getaway March 2025

My wife, teenage daughter, and myself enjoyed our stay in March 2025 (4 days). The backyard was private and the pool was wonderful. We spent more time enjoying the pool than traveling to the beach--Siesta Key Beach is approximately 20 minutes away by car depending on the time of day. There are plenty of pool toys, bikes, and a well-stocked kitchen.
