Bearly Believable – Spacious Log Cabin with Views & Game Room in Gatlinburg
Welcome to Bearly Believable, a beautifully designed 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom multi-level cabin tucked into the scenic Black Bear Falls Resort in Gatlinburg, TN. Sleeping up to 22 guests, this spacious retreat blends rustic charm with modern comforts—perfect for family vacations, reunions, or group getaways in the Smoky Mountains.

Inside, the main level invites you to gather around the cozy seasonal gas fireplace in the living room or enjoy a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Each of the five bedrooms features its own private bathroom for added comfort and privacy.

Head to the entertainment room for endless fun with a pool table and a multicade arcade loaded with all your favorite 1980s classics. Step out onto the large covered decks to take in breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains or relax in the outdoor hot tub under the stars. There’s even a picnic table for outdoor meals and access to the resort’s seasonal swimming pool and amenities.

The stories about bears getting into cars is completely true. Lock your car doors and cabin doors. Keep garbage locked. We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was beautiful.

Great place for a family reconnect

It fit our needs. Plenty of space, great location for getting around the area but the roads and driveway once in the property are steep and tight. We managed. Had a great time reconnecting with family for the Christmas holiday

Lots of relaxation and enjoying nature

My family gets together for family vacation every summer and we chose TN this year. We could not have been more pleased with our stay in the Bearly Believable cabin. We spent so much time on the decks listening to birds and enjoying the calm! The cabin was clean and beautifully kept up. The rooms were so cute and we appreciated all the bathrooms! 10/10 would recommend

Spacious and homey

We rented this vrbo for our bridal party. It was so well supplied and located that it was perfect for our friends. The only thing you should be aware of when renting this vrbo is the driveway is very steep with room for maybe 6 cars. This wasn’t an issue for us but it might be for some. The views, and space were all perfection. We couldn’t have asked for a better home for the weekend.

House was spacious but not fully equipped. For a house that accommodates 20, there were only 3 coffee cups, broken can opener, barely workable manual can opener, cheap, dull kitchen knives, tight parking. Again if house intended for so many occupants, then why not adequate number of parking spaces and coffee cups?!? BUT, overall it was good. Get some coffee cups !

LHS Soccer trip

Over all the cabin was wonderful with plenty of beds for our girls and coaches. A major downfall was the cabin never cooled off enough, in fact the upstairs was very hot. Not good for a bunch of hot sweaty girls. The pool was closed and this was one reason for picking this cabin so the girls could cool off after there games. The trash bins outside were way too small for such a large cabin and that many people. And the road getting to the cabin was terrible. Our cars would bottom out every time. Other than that we enjoyed our stay it was very clean and roomy.

Fall Trip

Planned this trip back in March and the property owners were easy to work with and communicate from first setting up the rental, all the way to check out. Had no major issues and the only complaint we had was the trees blocking the view from the balconies. This was made up for by enjoying the nice colors of the leaves we got to see during are stay. Overall, it was a great property and for the price it was a great deal.

Almost Heaven

Cabin was fantastic, but description said beautiful view. View was all grown and blocked with scrub . Needs a mini frig downstairs. Cabin was clean, well stocked,plenty of room. Scary driveway. 9 out of 10...we were very disappointed in the lack of a view. Anhour with a chainsaw would have made this a 10.

accuracy of listing

the pictures really need to be changed on line,because of the massive amount of growth between the trees and the mountains. I do not consider this even a good view of the mountains. |The pool is picture makes it look much bigger than it really is. Considering the money that one pays for this accomidation, one would think that your company would take into consideration that people should not be given only one roll of toilet paper to be used, or one roll of papertowel etc. Driveway definitely needs to be mentioned on line. It is VERY difficult to get up once you are down. The mountain roads needed to get to this beautiful cabin are not for the faint of heart. Some of the roads are marked with Brown road signs so you can easily get lost in the dark which we did about 4 times..

Thank you so much for staying with us. We hope that these issues didn't keep you all from having a great time! We have discussed the issues that you have provided with our team and homeowners. Not sure that we agree with you on some of these. We provide a lot of information to our guests pre-stay. Toiletries are covered in that paperwork, along with directions to the cabin. Some folks like to use GPS and it just simply doesn't work in the mountains, the directions we provide to each property are very precise. Hope to see you again some time!

Beautiful but filthy!

Older but nice cabin, views aren’t what photo shows.., trees grown and no view of mountain, felt like in a rain forest. Still quiet and serene but no Mountain View’s. Major disappointment was how filthy the cabin was along with centipedes dead and alive in carpet and floors! Housekeeping is bare minimum or non existent.

Sheila, we are sorry that your stay was not quite what you were looking for. Centipedes are just something that we deal with up here in the mountains. We did send a cleaner immediately when you called, but you waited until the 3rd day of your stay to inform us, so it was not possible for our housekeeping manager to see what it was like upon your arrival. We did vacuum and sweep all the floors for you. Again, we are sorry your stay wasn't what you had hoped for. Guests, as soon as you arrive at any property, whether it be hotel, cabin, house or apartment, let your host know as soon as you know about an issue. Waiting makes it very difficult to fix and, more importantly, most hosts will bend over backwards to make your stay a better one.

Excellent Location!!

This is a wonderful house! We had a party of 12, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The size and location definitely fit our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, though there were strangely no spoons. We were somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness of the house, along with the maintenance. Only one of the burners on the stove was working, and the house was incredibly dusty. We did not turn on ceiling fans because of the thick layer of dust on them. The location is ideal! Definitely secluded from town, but a short drive to many locations.
