With a waterfront location on the shores of Wild Rice Lake (as well as a dock, two kayaks, and a rowboat to help you explore), Destination Cove offers the excitement of the popular Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes while being quietly nestled in the pines. Gather together around the firepit to swap tall tales and old stories, roast some s'mores, and enjoy the quiet crackle of the burning logs. Destination Cove provides year-round possibilities for living your life your way!

Whether you're looking for a meticulously groomed trail or you want to set your own tracks through a fresh layer of snow amid towering pines or old-growth hemlocks, the perfect trail is waiting nearby. In addition to skiing, many of the local trails allow snowshoeing and fat-tire biking as well.

Wild Rice Lake is a 384 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 26 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
