The house was very clean and well appointed. The host was very responsive. The beds and linens were very comfortable. It is a perfect house for two families. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. It is wonderful to have access to Chambers Landing with the pool, dock, and private beach. You can’t go wrong with this house.

Great place for Chambers HOA

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love that this rental has access to the Chambers beach and pool as part of the HOA. About a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive down. Good layout of rooms (3 kings and 2 singles) so great for two families to share. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs so stay pretty cool in the summer. Decks are lovely.

We enjoyed our stay except for a few issues. Both of the downstairs king bed mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The only TV downstairs didn’t work which left only one working TV in the living room. The master bath shower was difficult for a senior to use due to how high the tub was to step over and nothing to hang onto. It was difficult to reach the faucet controls from outside the shower. The kitchen was well-stocked and organized. The oven took forever to preheat. All-in-all the home could use a refresh.

Ideal Vacation House

This property was a great vacation spot for our girls trip. The house was comfortable and met all our needs. Highly recommend for a house on Tahoe's west shore.

Beautiful home with great amenities!

The property was beautiful. We have stayed within the chambers landing community before and love the additional amenities that comes with it. We would definitely stay again! The house was well equipped and cozy!

Homewood - Lake Tahoe

Overall a lovely location! We loved driving along the lake every morning and evening coming and leaving the slopes. Some issues with heat and cleanliness but overall a nice stay.

West side Best side!

Chambers Delight was the perfect base camp for our Tahoe family getaway! With 50 plus years vacationing on the west side of Tahoe we felt right at home in Chambers. All our favorite hikes easily accessible and who doesn’t love the beach and pier at Chambers. Cabin slept 7 of us comfortably and had all the comforts of home! Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this space for our family!

Better than pics, very popular so do not expect to check in before 4.shower in master not working but quickly resolved! Would highly recommend.

Great Family Getaway

My husband and rented this cabin and took one of our two sons, his wife two kids 4 years and 18 mos so we could all enjoy some fun in the snow and also the beauty of Lake Tahoe in the winter. The cabin location was excellent, easy to find and we built some great sled runs for the kids and adults alike. The cabin itself was cozy with a fairly updated kitchen and some nice log light fixtures, but the layout isn't idealPoop With several bedlwith

Super nice hosie

We stayed here in February with another family for ski week. The house was great. Open and comfortable. Great kitchen with all the tools. Location is very nice and quiet and just a short walk to the lake. Was very pleased with this rental.

The house was in pristine shape when we arrived and we enjoyed having BBQ's at night. Went to Chambers beach and had a few Chamber punches at the bar, did some hiking around Emerald Bay and was able to relax in this beautiful area for a couple days. Can't wait to come back. It was easy to pick up keys and drop them back off at West Lake's office in Tahoe City.

Delightful and convenient

We had a wonderful start at Chambers Delight. The location was perfect for us as we didn’t prefer to be in the hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. The peaceful surrounds provided easy drivable access to hiking, fishing and to a beach by the lake. We didn’t make it to the private beach as we couldn’t find parking and didn’t want to wait for the bus. Lots of cute, smaller restaurants and markets nearby. Or treat was having a small bear wander through while I was reading on the deck (he didn’t stick around). The house itself was great for our party of 4, but could accommodate a few more. All the supplies we needed for grilling on the deck and relaxing for a few nights in.

All instructions, etc. were well done and made the entry and check out processes quite simple. The only recommendations would be: 1.) to get a larger or tankless water heater as the hot water runs out quite quickly; 2.) provide instructions regarding firewood for the fireplace as we would have liked to make a fire in the fireplace; 3.) perhaps add another TV. Otherwise, everything was awesome! Thanks so much.

Tahoe Experience

This stay was to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. I booked the place since it said it could accommodate 8 people. However, when I received the rental agreement it said the max amount of people was 5. Luckily my sister and her daughters could not make the trip but that was my original plan. We enjoyed the house and neighborhood but the back patio was full of filth and looked liked it had not been swept in months. The BBQ was also disgusting and we had to clean. We swept the mess so we could enjoy the back patio where we spent a lot of time. I understand there are rules but the constant reminders of the quiet hours was a bit annoying.

Regarding the guest count, our property is set up to comfortably accommodate 8 guests. Your rental confirmation indicated the number of people you put down when you reserved the home through VRBO, which was 5. If there was any confusion or concern during your stay, we would have been happy to assist. We always want our guests to feel comfortable and well cared for. Chambers Delight

Out of propane for bbq and fire pit for first few days of week. BBQ did not work and was not useable even after propane was delivered. Was told by management co. that parking boat trailer on road shoulder was not acceptable to Placer Co Sheriff. Spoke with deputy sheriff in person at property and they were not aware of this restriction. House needs an investment in drinking glasses and cookware. Both marginal.
