Kristina- we have been renting out this unit for 35 years without any major problems whatsoever. However, I agree that your week started out disastrously. The unit was "cleaned" by a service hired by the booking agent that rented out the week previous to your arrival. It was not my cleaner. After traveling all day, I know that it was a very emotional experience to then be faced with a less-than clean unit. I responded immediately upon your call and we must have communicated over a half-dozen times within those first four hours. I too, was frustrated and did the best I could from 1600 miles away - even offering you restitution for the inconvenience. I know that because of spring break, the week that you were there, is probably the busiest - and craziest - of the whole year. I think that the property manager has learned to be quite aggressive when it comes to controlling young people in the common areas of the property - as you witnessed around the pool. Perhaps too aggressive at times. In any case, Siesta Key is a beautiful and unique place - I am sorry that your experience was less than ideal.
