Soak up the sun while you enjoy the ocean view from the furnished patio, or relax inside by the gas fireplace and watch your favorite Netflix show or movie. And be sure to take advantage of the private gas grill for warm-weather cookouts!

You cannot beat this home's prime location. Situated just east of downtown Santa Barbara, you can practically walk to everything! Enjoy the shops, museums, parks, and all the great restaurants and grocery stores, such as Convivo and the Tri-County Grocery store, right around the corner. You'll also be only steps from relaxing on East Beach! This home is one mile away from the Santa Barbara Pier and downtown! The Santa Barbara Zoo is also close, as are a few wineries for tastings and tours. There's also a bus stop close by for your convenience!

Close to the beach---what's not to love!

I grew up in Santa Barbara and it was nice to come back and stay so close to the beach---easy walking distance. Loved the location---thank you.

Well located, efficient, comfortable

It was unusually cold weather so we were not able to enjoy beach, but easy walking access was nevertheless appreciated. Sofa bed in living room and the two beds upstairs worked well for the four adults. Nice to have downstairs half bath as well. Some of the dishes in cabinets were not very clean and had to be washed prior to use. Well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge, and multiple coffee makers..

Beautiful place to stay

The location is just one block away from east beach, so easy to take a walk around ocean. Also, It was easy and safe to park because there is a garage. The most thing I loved master bathroom shower space was spacious and also comfortable because you could use a fixed and movable shower heads at the same time. You should visit Sunnyā€™s house!!

Good memories start in a comfortable place

I enjoyed it cozy while breathing fresh air in a beautiful accommodation. I could feel the warmth of the host, from the bath products used in the accommodation to the painting on the wall In particular, the room and bathroom are clean, so I relieve the fatigue of travel by taking a shower and recharged my energy for the next day's schedule with the comfort of the bed. I would definitely revisit Sunny's house!

Great family getaway with grandbaby

The location close to the beach was perfect for our family. Beach towels, toddler pails/shovels, chairs and wagon made it easy to get us all there every day. Layout of home was great with enough private space with separate bathrooms and porches plus enough shared space too, including a 1st floor bath and outdoor area. Comfortable, well stocked, cozy. Perfect place.to enjoy time with our toddler grandbaby and his parents. Would totally stay here again!

SB beach side retreat

We love the property right away the layout was great. The property was immaculately clean. It was all close to the beach and within walking distance of markets, restaurants, and many of the things we came to Santa Barbara to say we enjoyed it and will definitely stay there again. The property had plenty of towels, beach chairs, coffee to start our morning right. There was a great food store Tri county produce a few feet away. Everything was sobao convenient. I would love to come back and rent this lovely home again.

wish there was better communication

poor communication from Vacasa/owner great location, well equipped kitchen, broken fold out sofa (had we known we would have looked at other properties), broken heater, alerted Vacasa as soon as we checked in - no response for 2 days, (space heaters dropped off on 3rd evening of our stay), disappointed in Vacasa will avoid in future.

Privacy is excellent

The path to the property runs thru the parking lot of the Blue Sands Inn, so you must be very careful of extended pickups with trailer hitches, or their tailgate down. The rug on the patio is in sad need of replacement, (third world looking) tattered, faded and unraveling. it was hot and humid, (unusual for SB) fans were provided, but some electrical outlets didn't work. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room/dining area would be a possible solution.Overall six on a ten scale.

Our experience

The house is cute and we LOVED the fireplace. BUT, the bug issue is huge. We had ants everywhere- all over the pillows, everywhere in the kitchen (and I mean everywhere), and even upon leaving all over my clothes and my luggage. Even at home Iā€™m still trying to get rid of ants from my luggage and we only ate in the house once/ the bugs were all there upon arrival. We had a few spiders in the house as well. Cleanliness wasnā€™t the greatest, but the house is very cute and the location is great. I would recommend only if this bug issue is resolved. Weā€™re paying too much to be dealing with so many bugs.

facts: sofa bed broken heater broken owner was aware of these but did not update the listing broken items were not acknowledged until we stayed 2 nights (Vacasa management non responsive) 2.5 bath home not 3 (minor) good location well equipped kitchen outdated bathrooms don't recommend properties managed by Vacasa due to lack of responsiveness for days

Great location. Nice unit, very comfortable. Only complaint is the trip manager that they insist on using for communication during the trip. I will say communication was excellent with the management company. However, I wanted to book late check out ( which they charge for) and it has to be done trip manager ONLY. No where in this could we find a way to do it ( even my 2 yr old son couldn't do it) so we were out of luck as they wouldn't help us. Also , parking directions! They state they share a parking lot with the Inn ( which they do. That's it, nothing else. SO we parked in the parking lot. Only to find out it's only for the in and we had to park in the garage. I did advise them to add that important fact to their listing for future guests. I do recommend this unit, it's a great stay except for these 2 flaws

Great Location!

The property is nicely situated to the beach and zoo with a small grocery store nearby. Great walking opportunities. A few fixes would be great. First oil the squeaky door to the main bedroom (didn't want to wake the baby), provide detailed directions to the heating system (we were there at a change of seasons), 2 keys in the lockbox. While the towels were washed, they had an odor. I think this is because as you leave you are to wash the towels, not sure how the proceeding folks washed the towels....We put on sanitize - but at home we use vinegar which helps. Took us a while to find the sheets for the sofa. So, a bit more focus on directions/details would be make this 5 star.

Perfect Location

We were here for a conference at the Hilton. Perfect place to stay! Walking distance to the conference along with all restaurants that we wanted to go to. And, it was lovely to start each morning with a walk on the path along the beach. Really nice grocery on the corner where we picked up everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach vacation home

This home is perfectly located seconds from the ocean, minutes from downtown and an east drive to other Santa Barbara sites. The home is beautifully furnished and immaculately cleaned. The garage is stocked with beach towels and chairs. It was a perfect home for our family get away. We will definitely book again.
