Lime Twist - your home away from home!

Our private vacation rental home hosts up to 12 adults - and unlimited kids, six bedrooms in total. There are two bedrooms on each floor, each bedroom has a private bathroom and an air conditioner. Four of the six bedrooms have king size beds and an additional twin. The Garden bedroom has a washer and dryer, an outside shower and two queen beds. One of the top floor bedrooms is a queen bed. There is a half bath on the main floor. The master bedroom has a tv, a desk, computer and printer. There is also a tv in the living room equipped with cable, as well as a stereo, with speakers both inside and outside and many cd's. There is a private heated pool and a walk out deck to the beach with chairs under the palapa and the ocean for swimming. There are two paddle boards, several kayaks and many life jackets for your use anytime, as well as masks, snorkels and fins. The wifi reaches all three floors and to the beach. There is also an internet phone. A caretaker lives on site in a separate house, and the house manager, can assist you with anything you may need. There is no a cleaning fee, but you are welcome to tip the caretakers for their services. There are a total of 42 houses on the bay. Near the entrance of the bay is Jashita Hotel that has Pandano's restaurant, and can be found in the "maps app" on your phone for navigational assistance. Soliman Bay is a private bay with security. If you need airport transport, we will refer a taxi service to you as well as chef information in an email to you after you book. There is also a car rental in downtown Tulum and several at the Cancun airport.

April week

Good visit. Convenient location. Adequate space for six (or more). Nice supply of basic foods. Lot's of water sports equipment, notably for kayaking & snorkeling in front of villa. Daily cleaning by onsite couple. Only drawback was daily construction noise next door.

Nice house and beach

Overall a great stay. Clean beach and good snorkeling from house. On-site staff was helpful. Highly recommend hiring Arturo’s team to cook several dinners as they were delicious and convenient. Would rent the house again for a large group.

Everything was perfect

My group of friends and I had a great time at the property! Everything was clean and the house manager (Rosa) made our stay a dream. The location is perfect—beachfront and outside of the bustle of tulum but close enough to go out to dinner! We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this lovely villa on Soliman Bay. It was perfect for us. The owner could not have been more helpful with great advice from the start. The villa is well equipped so you only need to pack a carry-on. I would have rated it 5 stars all, but there is construction going on right next door so the noise was slightly off putting, but we did know this a month before we arrived. Although I have to say the noise did not affect our fun.

Paradise plus

We had ten adults and three children, 4 and under. This was a very sweet place to relax and enjoy the view with kids. Very easy access to the water , to snorkel, swim , kyack and paddle board. The pool is perfect for young kids plus older adults. We had a chef several nights, very ,very delicious food. Fresh fish, local choices of pork and chicken, always plenty of food . Amazing to have someone cook and clean up, added to the relaxation. The house keepers were efficient and helpful, in and out everyday, leaving the place fresh and clean. The internet did go out multiple days but the manager was working his best to get it back up. Not really a problem for those of us that wanted an electronic free vacation. Perfect Paradise

This house was a dream to stay in. It's the best equipped rental I've stayed in, especially with kids- I could write a book on how well "thought out" this house is. The owner, the house manager and the caretakers were all very responsive and helpful. The beach and snorkeling were ABSOLUTELY DREAMY! We had planned to go to one of the Xel-ha parks, but we were so happy with our water and nature adventures at the house, that we stayed home, which saved us lots of $$$. A bit of info for future guests: The only thing that was difficult for us was how expensive transportation is in the Tulum area. ($30 US one way taxi ride from town. $60/day car rental) It made it stressful for us to provide for a large group. However, the 15 min walk to the highway bus stop was easier than Google made it look. The owner had a grocery delivery recommendation and Chedraui had great, affordable online grocery delivery.

Wonderful place to experience Tulum. You can’t get a better location with beautiful water and beach!

We had an amazing stay at villa margarita over New Year’s. Two families, both with 3 young adults, fit perfect in the house! Plenty of room with 6 bedrooms and private bathrooms for everyone. The house is not extravagant but has absolutely everything we needed. The best part was definitely the backyard! The bay was so clear and warm and perfect for wading, snorkeling, kayaking. Younger families would love it as well! The beach was prestine, thanks to Paco clearing it of seaweed every morning for us. Sara cleaned for us every day. We also loved the Jashita hotel just down the beach for dinner and happy hour. Nice to have somewhere to walk to. We also had a chef come in one day which was amazing! Massages were a huge treat as well. Rosa, the lovely house manager, arranged both for us. It’s about a 15 min taxi ride to town. Great to experience the vibe of Tulum but then escape back to the beauty and privacy of Solemon Bay. Cenotes, atv and zip lining right across the highway which was also very fun one day! The perfect combo of activities and relaxation. Highly recommend staying at villa margarita! We will be back!

We are so glad you had an amazing time while staying in our Mexico home. I'm glad the house had everything you needed. The zero entry and heated pool is ideal for young kids as well. Although we arrived late, check in was quick thanks to Paco who waited to greet us. We could hear the ocean so near the patio doors. Tge rest of the family arrived 2 hours later but thanks to the juice and eggs in the fridge, we made a quick meal. The mornings were glorious as we awoke to a heated pool, lawn chairs and a fantastic sandy beach. We ate well that day since we contracted a chef for meals. All beds were comfy and generous as were the attached bathrooms. After 2 days of relaxing and using the sufficient kayaks and paddle boards, we considered visiting Tulúm ruins. But we all agreed as a family of 12 that just enjoying the house, beach and pool were worth just “vegging”. We ventured to Tulum for dinner on the last night together but the dinner across the highway from the house was the best so make sure you enjoy Oscar and Lalo’s for a great meal. Paco y Sara maintained the house daily and were unobtrusive so we could enjoy the outdoors. This was our second family get-together for my birthday and I don’t think we could top it for the beach location, amenities and ample accommodations. Trust the fotos but the experience was beyond our expectations. We will all cherish this visit to give our families time to connect.

What a find!

The one word to use is tremendous. My group had 10 over the week of Christmas. Everyone slept comfortably, plenty of space. The beach was unbelievable, you are twenty steps from the water. We used the kayaks and paddle boards extensively. We saw numerous fish and sting rays while we snorkeled. The pool was a great place to relax at the end of the day. The cove is very safe. There is a guard on each end of the road for security. We took several walks on the beach at night and often ran into security. We cooked breakfast everyday and one night pan fried some fish we caught. We would have used the kitchen more, but the meat at the grocery stores were not as fresh as we are used to. The kitchen is fully equipped to make anything. Don't worry about refrigeration. There is one in the kitchen and two industrial ones outside. There is even a slushy maker. Paco and company kept the place very clean. We went out touring the local sites and when we returned house, beds and towels were clean. We had planned to do more tourist sites, but the house was so good that we stayed 'home'. We walked down to Pandano Cafe twice. Also tried Chamicos on the beach for lunch. I recommend both. Christie was awesome to work with. She gave us excellent information on restaurants and place to go.

Home Away From Home

When we first started looking at properties to stay in Tulum, we wanted to make sure that we had enough space for our family, and some place close to the beach. This home did not disappoint. You can tell that the owners spent a lot of time and thought in providing everything you could possibly need to have the best time. The home itself delivered on everything that a family could want and more to have the best vacation ever. The views were breathtaking, the beach was perfect complete with paddle boards, kayaks, hammocks, and beach chairs, the pool was always warm and sparkling clean, the beds were comfy, and the space emasculate. The owners were so helpful from the time of booking and even right up to the day of travel. Paco and Sara were the absolute sweetest. If there was anything we needed help with, they were right there to provide assistance (though there wasn’t much we needed because everything was already perfect!). And Rosa, the housekeeper, was the best part of our entire experience. She made sure that we had everything we needed from groceries to suggestions on where to eat, places to visit, and helped us with transportation, she even gave us a little tour around Tulum so we would know exactly where to go. Rosa brought us dinner on the day of arrival so we had nothing more to think about except starting our vacation off right! She would spend time with us, telling stories, giving advice, making us laugh and even enjoyed a beautiful dinner with us! The house was hard to leave, but leaving Rosa was even harder! She is now a permanent part of our family. We usually don’t travel to the same place more than once just because we want to travel to all the places, but Margarita Villa has left it’s mark on our hearts and become a new family tradition! We cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much for helping us create the best family vacation and memories to last a life time! ♥️

Perfect family retreat!

The villa was just perfect for our large family! The pool was the perfect temperature with plenty of toys for the children. There were tons of masks, fins and snorkels to snorkel right out in the bay at the numerous coral reefs. Each bedroom had its own en-suite bath and A/C unit! Communication was excellent. We had such a nice week, thank you for sharing your home!

Great Summer Vacation

We had a great summer vacation at Margarita Villa (Lime Twist) with multiple families and teenage kids. The house had all the toys and amenities we needed to kayak, snorkel, and paddle board. Rosa was a great help with taking us to get groceries and set up contacts for rides and day trips. Christie was also very communicative about the house and any questions we had ahead of time. We would love to visit again.

Simply wonderful!

We stayed with 10 people including 4 kids ages 4-12. This house is perfect for children. The beach is calm with hardly any waves and easily swimmable. You can even just walk right out in front of the house to snorkel! The Sand is soft and nice for kids to play in. And the pool is also perfect for the kids and also adults. The pool is heated so as the sun went away and the kids started to get chilly, Paco would turn up the heat in the pool for us! It was really wonderful- all of it. Plenty of space and the house is very very clean! Also kayaks and paddle boards are there for use which was great. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back to make more memories in the future!

Great stay!

Rosa was very communicative from start to finish. She has a a crew come in to clean the place each day which is a plus, especially for a larger group like we had. The location is a little north of Tulum but she assists with any car rides you might need. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Girls Weekend!

Our stay at Lime Twist/Margarita Villa was absolutely perfect! We came to celebrate my Bachelorette and had a blast! Rosa was such a great resource, with recommendations, helpful grocery runs, and generally just a cozy vibe. Paco and Sarah worked so hard to keep the house and beach clean. The house was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Thank you Christie and team for an awesome pre-wedding send off :)

Beautiful property with first class service

Wonderful experience! This house was gorgeous, perfect location, away from the big crowds. Accommodated our 15 people with ease, each room with its own private bathroom and loved waking up to the Mexican brick ceiling. The house had it all from kayaks to board games to a washer/dryer to daily cleaning service. And one word for first class service ….Rosa! (House manager) she was wonderful and attentive! House description is exact plus ten times more. Thank you for one of the best family vacations ever! Truly a hidden gem.

Location location location . It is a beautiful property, great host, great home.

This property is centrally located for you to reach either Tulum downtown or Xcaret parks. The house has all the amenities even an outside kitchen station that we used for dinners. The only complaint i have is partly due to mother nature ,was the seaweed that wash up on shore and messed up our beach access . We still enjoyed all the kayaks and paddle boards with the beautiful waters of Tulum . I would recommend that you find out from what month to what month does the seaweed not Come ashore to enjoy the house the most.

Margarita Villa is Awesome!

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house manager and staff was amazing and helped with any issues that arose with the house while there. Rosa (house manager) also helped us with any plans or rides or events we wanted to do while in Tulum. Highly recommend for any occasion! Beautiful beach and house in secluded and safe neighborhood. Lime Twist was designed by the owners with their families in mind, whom at the time, had young children. The zero entry pool is very safe and fits with the family oriented house. There is a highchair in the pantry and water toys for both young and old. The water in the cistern is treated, so showering and brushing your teeth is safe.

The bay is ideal for swimming and is only one of a few natural coral reefs in Tulum, protecting the bay entrance. You can walk in the front door, through the living room, past the pool, onto the beach and swim in the ocean right in front of the house. The natural coral reef extends most of the entrance of the bay, which prevents waves, surges, and large sea life from entering. There are also clusters of small coral reefs and the bay is fairly shallow for a few yards into the ocean. There is a turtle who lives in the ocean near the orange buoy in front of our house and you can see her swimming with you if you are quiet while in the water.

It is a very safe bay with a natural coral reef, that keeps out large animals and waves. The homes are all owned by homeowners, so it feels like you are at home, but at the beach! Everyone on the bay is very nice and friendly. Jashita Hotel is at the entrance of the bay and really beautiful. Pandano's restaurant is in the hotel and so very good! We walk down the beach for dinner and sometimes right out of the ocean for a rootbeer float in our snorkel gear! Our house, Lime Twist, on Soliman Bay is like no other place you have been. There are hardly any people and so very relaxing. We have all sorts of water things you can use, sunscreen and even peanut butter. We also have a separate outdoor freezer and a separate refrigerator for ice and drinks in the front of the house by the garden. This is a nice space with a table and grill and a line and hook game that is a lot of fun!
