Aloha,
Our spacious one bedroom condominium C309 at the popular Kihei Akahi complex in South Maui is located on the 3rd floor of the C bldg, C309, with a nice ocean view. We have a new King Size bed and new bedroom furniture. Overlooking the blue Pacific waters at Kamaole Beach II, this gem of a unit has every amenity you can imagine for your stay in paradise. In addition to the King size bed, ,there is also queen sleeper sofa bed in the living area. Both the Shower and the Bathroom vanity have been recently renovated. The condo sleeps 4 comfortably. It has Air Conditioning and a ceiling fan in both the living area and in the bedroom. We have a full kitchen, and a washer/Dryer. Wireless Internet provided.

We stayed in this condo two years ago and was impressed with the price and comforts of home that we decided to stay a second time. This condo is still the best value in Kihei. We enjoyed the ocean view from the lanai every morning and went boogie boarding and snorkeling at Kam II everyday. Snorkeling was amazing. We saw beautiful fish and turtles each time. The complex is well maintained and clean. We even used the outdoor grill by the pool and it looked brand new. We will definitely be back.

ā€œLocation, location, location!

This comfy condo is directly across from the best beach in Kihei. Very short walk to all the souvenir shops and restaurants you could want! Not the newest place but well equipped kitchen, linens and towels, and extras like beach chairs and snorkel gear. A very good value in a super convenient location.

ā€œIncredible Condo, Great View, Loved It!ā€

I stayed at this lovely condo for 9 days with my sister. We enjoyed the view from the lanai and the easy access to the beach. It was fun to make the trek nightly from the condo to watch the beautiful sunsets. The condo is in a great location to visit other places on the island. There is nothing we would change!

You will want for nothing. All of the places to go are at your fingertips, but if itā€™s peace and serenity your looking for, have a quiet drink on the lanai, smell the Plumeria and relax the night away.

Great place. Amazing location right across the street from the best beach in Kihei and a 12 minute drive to the best beach in Maui (big beach).The unit was quiet and pretty with a comfy bed and everything we needed, even beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler.Parking is right by the building. The property is well taken care of. Everybody was very friendly.The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will be back.Mahalo!

Magical Maui

This was our fourth time staying at Kihei Akahi, and the first time in the C building. Check-in is always straightforward and the condo was very comfortable. The kitchen had most of what we needed - plastic wrap or something to cover the salads would have been appreciated, as would a small cooler for day trips. Otherwise, we had everything we needed (and more). The selection of pillows was very appreciated, and the bed was huge (and comfortable)! The location is perfect - across from Kam 2, and so many delicious places to eat just a short walk away - and the property is beautiful. The lanai was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evenings after sunset. We look forward to staying here again! Mahalo!

Amazing!

Had a great 6-night stay here. Everything was very clean and well stocked up with anything we needed (aloe vera under the sink was very helpful after I got burnt!). About a 3 minute walk down to a very lovely sandy beach. Thereā€™s a great shave ice spot nearby. 10/10 experience, would stay again :)

Hosts are pleasant respond speedily to your queries. Garden view from the Lanai is tranquil quiet. Excellent location: faces the popular Kamaā€™ole 2 Beach adjacent to restaurants, pharmacy, Snorkel Bobā€™s, all by foot.The occupancy of the building (how busy) will naturally depend on the time of year you visit.

Comfortable Stay

We love Kihei and the Kihei Akahi Resort.We come to enjoy the beach. Fly and Flop:) The condo was very comfortable and was well fitted out. The king size bed was super comfortable and there was a selection of pillows, which was very thoughtful. We had an issue with a neighbor smoking (not allowed) and both the owner and the office were very supportive and got right back to us. The issue was immediately resolved, which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here while daughter got married in fancy Wailea. This was preferable. It was a quaint and comfortable location with pool and near beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed very much.

Mixup checkin

We have stayed in condo before, Nice to see upgraded bathroom. There was confusion about checkin but after reaching out to VRBO and contacting owners directly all was good! Well equipped, with all essentials. An affordable rental considering others in complex! A hard top cooler and new fridge would be a an added upgrade .

Wonderful beach condo!

This was such a wonderful place to stay while on Maui. They had everything you need, from kitchen items to beach chairs and towels, even water floaties. The complex is very nice as well.

Breathtaking lanai sunsets

Weā€™ve stayed at the Akahi a dozen times, and for the most part this visit lived up to our expectations. However, as we are tennis & pickle ball players, it was disappointing to learn that the court was closed for almost 4 of our 14 days due to its use as the venue for the Ownersā€™ annual meeting and party. In this respect, the property did not deliver as promised. And although C building is a little less quiet than D, we enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Gaylaā€™s.

Clean and convenient.

The condo was very clean and very convenient to the beaches and within walking distance to just about every need. This is the second time we've stayed in this complex and will definetly stay here again. It is very apparent that the complex staff takes pride in this property.

Maui Wow-ie!

We were very impressed with the location of this property - across from the beach in Kihei, the happening town on the Maui west coast. Two pools on the property, and free access to numerous local beaches and parks. Walking distance to numerous bars and restaurants. What more could one want!

Location & view!!

Tidy & quiet 1 bedroom condo in Kihei. Across from Kam 2 with beach chairs, umbrella & towels all provided. Enjoyed the ocean view from the lanai for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Kitchen stocked with dishes, pot & pans, bbq tools etc. Pools and bbqs were clean and we used multiple times during our stay. Location was perfect for us. Complex is well maintained with a parking spot included. We would definitely return.

Our recent stay

We travelled to Maui for our wedding and stayed at this condo for 6 nights. Check in was easy and smoothe and instructions/communication with the owners was good. However, the condo is not well-maintained. Cleanliness issues, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, lights burnt out, and dusty. We will not choose this rental in our future Maui stays.

Great location!

The condo was located directly across the street from the beach making it very convenient. We could walk to local restaurants such as Coconuts and Cafe Oā€™Lei. The pool areas were nice and the allotted parking space easy to get in and out of. The condo had everything we needed - beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc. We had a very nice stay and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Vacation

We loved our stay in C309. The bed was amazing.. The condo was very neat and clean. Really enjoyed the use of the beach umbrella and beach chairs. The condo was stocked with what ever we needed. We made sure to replenish so it is ready the next lucky visitors. The location was perfect. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Great location In a Kihei, easy beach access, condo units easily accessible.

The complex property is nice. Pool, tennis courts, BBQ areas, easy parking. The unit itself has great ocean views from the balcony, great place to have coffee/breakfast in the morning. The condo has plenty of kitchen ware, pans, utensils etc... Bed is comfortable. I would love to stay here again as it is a great location, the property is beautiful and useful, the view is spectacular! I would just ask that it is really looked after better with better dusting and cleaning performed. 2 complaints I have are not against the condo itself but against whoever cleans the property between rentals. I am not a clean freak per say, but I do expect things to be dusted and well taken care of. The furniture in the unit is very nice, but everything had a layer of dust on it that had been that way for quite some time like picture frames, bathroom towel holders, ledges etc.... I like a dust free atmosphere. The fans that were in the unit were in need of a cleaning. The fans had so much dust on them it was hard to feel comfortable running them. It would be very hard for a person with serious allergies to use them at all. All places we have stayed in Maui, as it is a yearly trip, have had things in the unit like sunscreen, coffee, spices, condiments, things that make store trips expensive and that you barely use when on a trip to make meals or simply enjoy a nice cup of coffee without breaking the bank and then leaving the spices, coffee creamer, sunscreen behind. I felt like the person cleaning benefitted from items left behind as I feel they are probably removed from the property and not much cleaning is done.

Wonderful!

Our first impression of Gayla & Kevinā€™s condo at the Kihei Akahi was positive, as the unit was sparkling clean. And our experience over our week reinforced our good fortune to have chosen this condo! It was perfect for my husband & I! It has all the comforts of home - a fully stocked kitchen, good books to read, & beach supplies, including beach chairs, beach towels, noodles, & boogie boards! The Maui guidebook, Maui Revealed, was the best! The unit has a spacious feel. The building is well constructed. We hardly heard any sounds from our next door, above or below neighbours. The bedroom has a long mirrored closet with plenty of cupboard space, hangers, & room for clothes(& suitcases). There is also a dresser with lots of drawers for folded clothing. Most importantly, there is a comfy king bed with a great mattress topper. Even though I have joint pain, I had no problem with sleeping. The one issue, is noise from the elevator, which the bedroom is next to. As I wear ear plugs, I did not hear a thing, but my husband took himself off to the couch a couple of times, which he found quite comfortable. The toilet, bathtub & shower are in a separate room, so the bathroom area is functional. There is a decent amount of space for toiletries. The fabulous shower head gave one of the best showers I have ever had! The kitchen is very well equipped. No shortage of amenities with this condo rental!! There are numerous place settings, so you do not run out of dishes after one snack or meal, a plus! I was very pleased with kitchen supplies. There are several salad bowls, many utensils, including several spatulas! Not only are there paper towels and dish soap, but tin foil, plastic wrap & some spices. What a pleasant treat! And the dishwasher works well. There is an air conditioner available but we found the fans & the cross breeze kept us cool. Having a washer & dryer was a big plus, & laundry detergent & stain remover were provided. The living/dining room was both comfortable & functional. We enjoyed the large glass dining room table for 4 with comfy chairs. The flat screen TV gave us plenty of entertainment & the comfy couch provided hours of relaxation. We also appreciated the Hawaiian music CDs! A highlight of our mornings was coffee on the lanai with its table & chairs & a pretty view of the ocean. In the evening we could watch the sunset from there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in condos all around the world & this is one of the best.

We have been married for 35 years and have 2 grown children, and the sweetest little 6 year old and 2 yr old granddaughters.
Since first visiting Maui on our honeymoon, Maui has been our true love. We visit as often as we can.

We had stayed in the Kihei Akahi 3 times before we purchased there. We loved the location. When the opportunity came up we purchased a condo there. We have always enjoyed staying in our Maui home and are very happy to share our home with our guests.

The very best benefit of our condo is location, location, location. We are across the street from one of the best beaches in Kihei, Kamaole Beach II. We are walking distance from several gift shops, clothing stores, an Ice Cream Parlour, and restaurants. We are also only 1 mile from Wailea, where you will find the very large outdoor Mall of The Shops At Wailea.
Our condo has a home-like tropical decor and nothing is more relaxing than sitting on the lanai with a Mai Tai gazing at the ocean view.
