The Quailhouse is located on a rural working Ranch in Avila Valley, San Luis Obispo. Avila Beach and downtown San Luis Obispo are just a 5 minute drive away. You are centrally located for enjoying the beautiful Central Coast. Nearby are hiking/biking trails, beaches, wineries and restaurants. We provide locally sourced, environmentally friendly amenities for relaxing in your peaceful and private space.

Down a short dirt driveway, yet easy to access from the main road - park just outside the quaint one bedroom, one bath guesthouse and cruise into a furnished garden space with views of the wildlife filled canyon. Inside you’ll find the open, bright and airy kitchenette that is equipped for all your needs. Enjoy locally roasted Coffee while relaxing at the vintage dining set. The light filled living room is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The couch also doubles as a full size bed for extra guests.

Just through the living/dining area is a spacious bedroom featuring a plush king bed with environmentally conscious linens, mood lighting and a laptop friendly work desk. Adjoining the bedroom is a cozy bathroom with a small corner shower and includes a hairdryer, eco towels and locally crafted amenities.

Please Note: Wi-fi is available - it can be unreliable at times. Although we welcome all guests up to 3, our house is best suited for two guests, or guests with children as it can be a small space inside to accommodate more that two. The Quailhouse is a space to unwind, relax and enjoy your quiet country getaway under the stars.

Amenities of interest: Indoor and outdoor games, furnished patio, locally crafted products & coffee, Bose bluetooth speaker, ironing board and iron, books, work desk, luggage rack and a space to hang your clothes. Enjoy relaxing and reconnecting without a TV - WIFI is available however,
