Located it heavenly and largely undiscovered Baywood Park. Surrounded by natural wonder. Morro Bay and estuary. State parks. Walk to dinner, breakfast, kayak, nap in the garden. Designed and decorated with attention to detail, comfort, and esthetics. A real getaway. New king size bed, now with cool-tempur like foam pad and a full size fold out futon, gas stove heater, capable kitchen, claw foot tub and shower. Relax on the outdoor chaise lounges and watch the birds flit in and out of the garden. Stroll down to the bay, 1/2 a block away on one side. Discover what we found 10 years ago. A treasure on the central coast.

Sweet little spot to rest!We loved our time at this quaint little spot, conveniently located to the beach and shopping, dining, this sweet little cottage was really fun. This little place is located behind a main house (with it's own mini yard) so it was good we didn't overpack as you park in front and carry your bags along the side of the property to the cottage in back. we ate out most meals- the little kitchen was great for simple breakfasts before we went out exploring. The hosts have thought of everything we might need! Sweet place.

This cottage is adorable! A huge King sized bed that was very soft and comfortable. A futon bed in the sitting area was also comfortable. There were all the conveniences needed available. The fridge was really small, but we made do. The garden area was beautiful and private with a great view of the mountains. The only trouble we had was with the gas fireplace. It started, but would not shut off. We had to shut of the gas valve to get it to stop burning. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and I will definitely book again!

The space was perfect for 2 people. The space felt warm and inviting. The outdoor space was nice to have a quiet dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and within a 5 min walk were restaurants and a quiet pier to watch the sunset and wildlife.

We stay at this wonderful cottage as often as we can when we visit the Central Coast. It is peaceful, fully equipped, centrally located for activities up and down the coast. We have always appreciated the communications with owner as well. We have recommended this cottage to family and friends. Anxious to return!

A much needed retreat

After weeks of entertaining and traveling your charming cottage was just what the doctor ordered.We felt embraced by the comfort and beauty of this property. So much detail has been given to the decor. We spent much more time there than we would usually spend in a rental.We have been coming to this area for decades and this place was tops.

Lovely place to stay in Baywood. Easy walk to the bay and village of Baywood. Monday Farmers market was fantastic.Montana de Oro was beautiful! We loved walking in the Elfin Forest. Great place to stay and enjoy the easy serenity of Los Osos coast.

Relaxing getaway

Lovely, charming,relaxing, bright and comfortable. Well designed space to include everything you need. Even books and coffee. The location couldn’t be beat. We love this part of the coast and hope to stay in Mann cottage again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Cozy & Very Comfortable

Loved our stay at the cottage. It's very clean and comfortable. Bonus is it's only a few blocks from the bay and a handful restaurants. Best sandwiches at High St Deli. Montana de Oro is a quick drive with lots of great outdoor spaces in the vicinity. We loved having a proper coffee maker and a clawfoot tub to soak in after our hikes. Highly recommend the small but mighty Farmers Market on Mondays. Brian was very responsive. The central coast is so peaceful and beautiful. Hope to come back very soon. soak in after spending the dhiking.

Very charming

The cottage was great. We loved the gas stove for heat nut it took a little getting used to. Its close to everything. Would recommend and we would stay here again.

Serenity Full Rest

I fell hard for this perfect little relaxing bungalow, it was so well stocked that there was nothing I needed. It changed my whole usually frenetic pace, and made me breathe it in. If that quiet kind of solitude and restorative atmosphere is what you seek, these owners have thought of every little thing to guide you to a better perspective! Very comfy little abode!

We were in SLO for a quick weekend trip, and couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. It is very clean, comfortable and way better than a hotel. We were able to walk down to the local pizza place, which is amazing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We would absstay here again! My wife said it was "and adorable storybook

Fantastic getaway

Great neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Going on a neighborhood walk in the morning gets you lots of friendly hellos, coffee shop and wildlife preserve all just a short walk. Property was clean with a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden, and lots of places to lay around and read a book. Not ideal if you want to be completely secluded, as you are in a backyard surrounded by other people doing yard work or talking on the phone, but it’s super peaceful.

Lovely Cottage

Peaceful place, very clean, check in so easy, walking distance to restaurants and great little bakery and honey place. Brian very responsive and able to stay an extra night. Everything you need is there!

The building itself was sweet and cozy for me. Even though it is tucked behind a house, window coverings are a must to feel a sense of privacy. The property in front of this cottage is a rundown mess. I didn’t feel like I was staying somewhere decent. It’s not right for everyone

Cute courtyard; quiet setting; cozy -- however, the heat source wasn't working and it was cold in the cottage. A plus for the comfy bed, nice new BBQ and various appliances.

Great place to stay

This was a nice place, with a great patio/garden. My wife and I stayed and there was plenty of room for us. Great location near SLO and a short walk to the shops and cafes in Los Osos.

Brian and Leslie fell in love with Baywood Park 11 years ago, when they happened upon this wonderful hidden gem. Nestled on a little peninsula jutting out into the tidal estuary at the south end of Morro Bay. Surrounded by state parks and with the sound of waves crashing in the distance, this has been our most cherished refuge and source of peace. We are so glad we can share a bit of this special place with our guests.
