PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS
We welcome well-trained dogs to stay in this home. If traveling with a pet, please note that a non-refundable pet fee will be added after booking. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00.


INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Perfect location!

The location and view were amazing! Everything on the property was as described, pool was great for those days when the beach was too windy. Excellent stay!

Very nice stay

Condo was very nice. I would stay there again. When we got to the condo, I wasn’t sure how to check in. I had to text to see how to get in the condo. It would have been nice to know that before we got there. Other wise it was great.

Convenient Location

We enjoyed our stay at this property! It was clean, quiet, and accommodated our pet friendly needs well. It was comfortable for a party of 4 adults. It’s within walking distance to Pompano Joe’s, stores, coffee, and ice cream shops. The owners had excellent communication and quickly replied to all questions. We would definitely stay here again. The only surprises for us were that pets aren’t allowed on the nice lawn located right outside the sliding glass doors of the condo. This was not a big issue for us, because it was a ground floor unit and we could easily and quickly walk somewhere where they were allowed to go. The other surprise for us was that the beach area for this specific complex has very steep steps down to the beach and does not allow tents or cabanas. So, we had a little bit of a walk down the road to find an area on the beach where we could set up our beach cabanas. Again, this was not a big deal for us and would not prevent us from going back to this location.

Great Location!!

This was great location! I couldn't find the parking pass. I had to call for assistance. The washer/dryer could be updated. The water pressure wasn't great in the main bathroom. I was hoping there were coffee filters available, but there wasn't. It would have been nice to have seating for 4 outside. Overall it was a great experience! I would stay again.

Quick get away

Pet friendly was not our experience at the beach or pet friendly restaurants. Also the condo listing showed a huge grass lawn outside the condo porch, it was DIRT!!! THEY were resodding the lawn and did not tell us.

Amazing location. Cleanliness was an issue

We loved the location of the condo. There was plenty of room for our family and within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. We did run into some issues with cobwebs and a broken closet door. Had the condo been cleaner, I would have given more stars. The internet also went out for about 1 day. We did reach out to have our issues addressed and they were promptly handled. We appreciated the quick response and having maintenance come out.

Family getaway

The property and location were great. Across the street from the beach with private beach access. Condo was clean and well maintained. If there were any complaints it would be the stove and ceiling fan. The burners in the stove were the wrong size so made all the pots and pans sit at quite a lean, so cooking eggs or pancakes in the morning was quite the challenge. The only other thing was the ceiling fan in the living room when on high was slightly out of balance so made constant noise. Easy fix put on medium speed and no noise. Overall, a great place to stay and great location.

Nice place to stay.

The condo was clean, a good size, and right across from the beach. We had issues getting our parking passes, dishwasher didn’t work, only other complaint was the noise level from the above condo. I think there must have been a heard of nocturnal rhinoceros staying there. The pool was nice but there was no shade. Beach access was great but you do have to go down two flights of stairs to get there.

Excellent vacation stay at Ciboney

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and clean and a great location so we could walk to the beach and a lot of places around that you could walk to. Easy check in and check out. Will be staying here on our next trip to Miramar Beach.

Great Spot!

Great location, you can see the gulf from the back patio. The unit was really clean and spacious, definitely enough space for a family or group of friends. It's pretty much across the street from Pompano Joe's, which is a go to spot for the locals. There is plenty to do nearby as well. The check-in and checkout process was super easy and well-managed. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, dirty condo

This condo’s location is excellent-right across from the beach with private beach access which made going to and from the beach super easy and quick. However, no one wants to check in for VACATION and immediately feel like they have to clean the condo they are staying in. There was sand all over the couches, the coffee pot was gross and had leftover grounds still in it. The floor had not been vacuumed. Luckily the sheets where clean, or that would have been a deal breaker. Also a lot of things were broken. There was no handle on the dryer. We had to use a can opener to open it. The carpet was so dirty and could stand to be replaced. The bottom of our feet were black just from walking on it. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic and the messages VRBO has sent about how their company has tried to ensure their rentals listed are cleaned and deeply santinized between guests we were very disappointed to show up to this one and realize it was not the case. Thankfully we had brought Lysol and wipes and after spending some time we made it feel clean. On a high note, the property manager was very kind and helpful. She did an amazing job. The location and easy access to the beach made our trip worthwhile. But we will not be spending our hard earned vacation money here next year.

Not what I've come to expect

I've stayed in VRBO rentals in Destin at least 10 times over the past 10 plus years. I don't want to be overly critical, but this was the least clean rental that I have ever stayed in. Beds in the guest room were not made, there was urine in one of the toilets, which left me wondering if that bathroom had been cleaned. The carpet was vacuumed, but not well as you could see lint and other debris. The unit generally needs a deep cleaning and it appeared that it just gets a quick surface cleaning between renters. We called and someone came out and cleaned the other bathroom and changed the linens on the 2nd bedroom. While there the person cleaning said the shower in the bathroom wasn't draining and she could not clear it. She said she called a plumber, but no one showed up so we could not use that shower. Overall the location is good but we were very disappointed in the condition of tue unit.
