West Glacier Adobe House

Our Adobe home is unique home with historic charm located in West Glacier. This home was completely remodeled with original and recycled materials like our clawfoot bath tub, cast iron sinks and vintage fixtures. We are located in a quiet neighborhood just across the street from the West entrance of Glacier National Park. The home is very quiet with privacy and a wrap around deck with bbq area. The home has two private bedrooms with one queen bed in each, located upstairs from the main living area. The additional sleeping area is located upstairs in an alcove open area that features one twin bed. Upstairs also offers one 1/2 bath. The downstairs area offers the main living area with an open floor plan that includes a kitchen, dining area, laundry with new washer & dryer & one full size bathroom with clawfoot tub. Our living area also features a gas fireplace and flatscreen smart tv. Please note: West Glacier has a working railroad line that runs parallel to the town and any rentals in the area. The history of Glacier is based on these rail lines and part of the area history.

Please note: Montana can become very dry and cause us to be in High Fire Danger. Our fire pits are not guaranteed to be available due to these constant changing conditions. Please inquire with us prior to your arrival should you have any questions about our fire pit availability.

Our property sleeps no more than 5 guests max. Please note, we adhere to the reservation total guest at time of reservation.
Wifi speed: 6mbps Up to 6M Downstream / 500K Upstream

The adobe house is not pet friendly. At time of reservation, we do require reserved guest to sign a rental agreement. Our confirmation email will include the link to the agreement from Glacier View Vacation Rentals. 

2027 Reservations: We will open our calendar to all 2027 reservations starting August 1st, 2026. Please check back with us, to reserve your spot with us.

Please note: Winter season for our area runs from December - March. We do recommend 4wd and Awd vehicles this time of year. Our firepit is not available during this season.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Adobe House!! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the pans were easy to cook on (contrary to what you typically find at rentals), we had everything we could have needed. All of the antique furniture!!! They even supplied a cooler and ice packs which was great to take along for days in the park. The location could not have been better. 10/10 would stay here again!!

Cozy house

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for 4 people. It had little quaint features like an older house should have, but had been updated for all the modern conveniences. Location was great. We had a wonderful time.

Great property! Super convenient to the West Entrance and amenities of West Glacier, especially the Belton Cafe, which is right around the corner. Very clean and lots of extras, including bug spray, sunscreen, bear spray and even snacks. Beds were comfortable and we didn’t mind the sound of trains at night. Christie very responsive and answered all our questions. Would love to come back again. Definitely recommend.

Exceptional getaway

The charm, history and location of the Adobe house is amazing. While it was just a short distance from the park entrance, somedays we were just tempted to stay and enjoy the magic of this beautiful home. It was a welcome retreat that provided a much needed respite.

The Adobe house is such a gem! Impeccably clean, with plenty of space but a cozy feel. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Bath towels were extra thick and luxurious, and the local soap was a very thoughtful touch. The firepit outside was a perfect place to relax and relive our adventures of the day. The location to the West Glacier entrance could not have been closer!! And the little market was close and convenient as well. We highly recommend this property, and plan on returning! I would give The Adobe house 10 stars if I could!

Loved Adobe House

We enjoyed our stay at Adobe House. It had everything we wanted and more. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were very comfortable! With the cool mountain air at night we all slept like babies. We appreciate the abundance of towels, a high quality washer and dryer to catch up on laundry and the convenience of being so close to GNP but feeling very away from it all. The communication from Christie was great from start to finish. Will definitely stay here again if we return to GNP.

The Adobe House was wonderful! Location, location, location!! If you plan to spend time in GNP… this is the place! We were literally 5 minutes away from the gate! The house is super cute and very charming! Everything we needed for a short stay was provided. There was bear spray, maps, a cooler, ice packs, ziplock bags, washing machine supplies, shampoo, hair dryer… and the list goes on! This house was immaculate and we could tell the property manager took great pride in its cleanliness. We would for sure stay here again! The communication with the manager was amazing as well!

Beautiful, rustic home with all the conveniences you could want and well stocked. The house is very charming and comfortable and close to the entrance of Glacier. Fire pit was great after long days of hiking and being able to relax and rest our tired feet! Really enjoyed our time at the Adobe House, GNP and in West Glacier.

The cabin is located very close to the West Glacier entrance and that allows for convenience to entry to the park and to all the stores and restaurants nearby. It is a cozy cabin in the woods that affords an authentic mountain experience. Comes equipped with everything you could possibly need… we especially appreciated the cooler that we used daily to pack our lunch and drinks. We cooked all other meals there and found the kitchen to be well equipped. We loved having coffee each morning on the east facing deck… gorgeous views as the sun came up and was shining through the trees. The cabin has a warmth about it that allows you to feel peaceful and full of gratitude for the moment. Do yourself a favor and book this cabin for you will certainly be delighted!
