It was great perfect weather, it was right across the street from the beach! My golden puppy enjoyed the house location as well!! Gulf Aire has a dog friendly neighborhood & plenty of places to walk ur pet & a few bars & awesome restaurants i highly recommended

Not bad! It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house is a little dated and the bathrooms especially could use some upgrades. We were unable to get codes to use the downstairs door which made it difficult to load and unload the car. The beach access was a little misleading, it is a bit of a walk down the road so we drove instead but it was still close by. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Family vacation

The house was nice and spacious. The traffic was busy all hours of day and night and dampened the sound we like to hear from the ocean. But overall it worked well for our family and 4 legged pup!

Great location, perfect sunset porch!

Had a great stay. Was perfect for our family with master upstairs and other bedrooms downstairs for teens/kids with game area and extra living room space. Great porch and well stocked kitchen. A couple of small issues that could improve the listing.. a grill!! Many families cook out at the beach and this should come standard with the house. Luckily i had read reviews and we brought a portable one. Also shamp/cond in showers was not refilled/stocked. Some ants were in bedrooms downstairs(we found bottle of ant killer so were able to spray) Additionally be aware you can’t use the beach access directly across from the house, which wasn’t a deal breaker but def made getting down the beach a little more difficult. Despite couple small things, we would stay at this listing again.

Take a beach wagon!

The pictures of the home are a little outdated/misleading. The photos imply the entrance to the beach is “across the road”…when actually it’s a block away after the Dollar store and Exxon station and then cross the road. Not a huge deal breaker but families with littles should have a better description for that.

Great House!

Totally enjoyed staying at this house....would highly recommend it! Wish it wasn't so close to the highway, as one can really hear the highway traffic noise, but other then that it was great!

Fall Break

Stunning view, close easy beach access, conveniently located to a Dollar General that was well stocked and a couple restaurants. Unfortunately upon arrival at what we thought was 3:45 pm, we called to see if they could let us in 15 minutes early, they wouldn’t allow it, which was fine. We were okay to wait. But we then realized this house is just past the line and was actually on Eastern Standard Time and it was in fact 4:45 pm, check in at 4. After another call we were never able to get the code to open the door and they gave us access to a physical key. My kids LOVED the pool table and air hockey table. Unexpectedly there was a very large hole in the ceiling with a towel and bucket underneath, which was right in the middle of this area. This was very unsightly and pretty gross. The house seemed clean when we arrived. After a couple days we found and killed multiple very large roaches. Yikes. We did genuinely like the house. It met our needs, and we loved Port St. Joe.

Overall the house was very clean. The floors were very dirty as you could tell by how quickly white socks turned brown. In the listing there is no mention anywhere of a pet fee. Yet, when I paid the second half and listed 1 pet I received an additional bill for just over &700 for the pet fee and tax. That is a high amount. We called and were told that figure was accurate. Lastly, the proximity to highway 98 made for traffic noise 24/7.

Loved the location.

Loved the location and the layout of the house. Everything was as advertised. Only issue was where there had been a water leak in the downstairs ceiling. There was a hole and mold in the ceiling from the water leak.

Beautiful Home

We loved this house. It was perfect! We were confused why we couldn't use the beach access directly across the street but instead had to walk further down the street across from gas station. Other than the beach access, we had no complaints!

Nice spacious pet friendly home walking distance from the beautiful white sandy beach. Ocean view from balcony was nice and refreshing and what was described in the pictures. The home was clean through out and a very short walk to the dollar store where most of your groceries can be purchased. Short drive to down town Port St Joe with restaurant, bakery, and coffee options. Several food trucks are near the home and are good food options as well. There is some road noise that starts around 0700 because you are so close to HW 98, but that was expected. I would definitely rent again as long as it remains pet friendly. If you have pets, I did notice they provided a medium to large metal crate, but we travel with our own so I didn't use it.

The house was amazing. Very well stocked for anything that you would need from cooking to towels, etc. There is a short walk to the beach, so make sure you have a wagon.All in all, this was a great house for us.

Great location/well stocked

We had a wonderful stay. Great location. House interior very clean and well stocked. Would have been a plus to have a gate to use on the stairs to keep kids and pets from falling. We will rent again
