Wren cottage is a quaint beach cottage just steps from the white sandy beach!

Adorable Beach Cottage just one block from the private, dog friendly beaches at St. Joe beach. The cottage features a large covered front porch with cozy bed swing great for snuggling up with a good book. Kitchen has pretty quartz counters, stainless appliances, a quiet dishwasher and all the amenities needed to feel at home. Beautiful dining area with a table that seats six and an island that seats 3 additional guests. The master suite on the main floor has a king bed, television and private bath with soaker tub/shower. Upstairs there are two queen sized bedrooms plus a bunk-room perfect for kids. There is a pack and play crib for a baby and a small beach dome for a beach baby. 2.5 bathrooms. The backyard is fenced in for your kids and your pet to run and play safely. There is also an outdoor shower for washing the sand off. This house is perfect for families, a friend getaway and snowbirds! Great for a vacation where relaxation is required. Neighbors are long time residents and very friendly. Lots of convenient local restaurants, beach activities and shopping close by!

This place was great for me, my wife, two boys and their girlfriends and our two dogs. Plenty of space for us to lounge or play games and rooms were just what we needed. It's a 3-minute walk to the beach and stores or restaurants are nearby. The host was easy to communicate with and answered quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great beach spot!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. Jamie, the owner was very responsive and friendly and checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. There were only 2 things that slightly detracted from our stay. The bbq grill was rusted so we didn't feel using it would be a good idea, and the master bed had some springs that we could definitely feel. That may just have been because we're not smaller folks, but everything else was wonderful. Loved the porch swing and outdoor shower!

Had a beautiful 4 weeks in the cottage. Port St Joe Beach is gorgeous. Throughly enjoyed the front porch. Only a few downfalls were: no lighting for the backyard and no back entrance to the fenced in yard. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Beautiful St. Joe Beach stay

This is a lovely cottage steps from the beach. We had a fantastic experience, especially being able to have an our dog with us. Spotlessly clean and comfortable! Lots of nice restaurants close by in Port St. Joe. We hope to be able to come back again.

Great host, good stay

We lost water due to a line breaking in town, host reimbursed us to cover our lunch that day even though the water was out of her control and without us asking. Host is very kind and responsive. Quite neighborhood.

Perfectly relaxing 😎

The cottage was much bigger than we needed. The upstairs would be great if you came with a larger family. Since it was just two of us, we only used the downstairs. It was clean, decorated beautifully and the layout was functional. The owners were friendly and immediately responsive. The location was great….one block from the beach. Enjoyed our time there very much! Thank you!

Great Cottage

This is a great house with plenty of space for our family of four and a couple friends. It's only four houses down from beach access so we could walk with all our gear in just a few minutes.

Wonderful

My husband, sister myself and my 2 dogs absolutely LOVED our stay. Plenty of room, close to beach, so clean and very peaceful. Not to mention great neighbors next door and across the street, they were so helpful. I didn’t ever want to leave.

Close to the beach!

The house was almost brand new and well laid out. It also contained everything you could ask for, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, towels, etc. The fenced back yard was a real plus for our dog. There are many friendly dogs in the neighborhood as well as at the dog park. It is only a short walk to the beach and everyone is friendly. I would recommend this cottage to anyone considering a visit to the Mexico Beach area. The owner is easy to reach and a pleasure to talk with. John

It flew by!

Winter Vacation

Wren Cottage is a wonderful getaway! The area is so peaceful, clean and the neighbors are super friendly! The home is stocked with everything you need, beautiful decor and located super close to the beach! Feels like a home away from home! We look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you again!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We loved our stay! This was out first vacation with our dogs and the whole experience was amazing. The beach was close enough that we could spend most of the day there with the dogs and didn't need to pack like we were going to Mars. If we needed something or decided to take a break it was just a short walk back to the house. The area is beautiful and has plenty of places to eat, shop, and explore. Everyone we met was so pleasant and we absolutely loved the neighbors and their dogs. The house itself was very spacious and well equipped. We loved being able to play with the dogs in the large fenced backyard. The outdoor shower and having a washer and dryer meant that we were able to keep most of the beach out of the house and we didn’t have to take dirty mutts or funky towels back home with us. Seems silly, but it really did improve the quality of our stay. Communication with the property owner was excellent. We didn't need anything, but the fact that they reached out to check on us was very thoughtful. It made me feel like I wouldn't be a huge inconvenience if we did need to ask questions. I am so grateful that we found this property for this trip and we're already trying to figure out when we can visit again.

Great Place to Stay at the Beach!

Wren Cottage was roomy, very nicely decorated and clean. As advertised, a very short walk to the beautiful white sandy beach of Port Saint Joe Beach. Very convenient to go to Mexico Beach, Port Saint Joe, Cape San Blas and even Saint George Island and Apalachicola for some fun day trips. Host reached out a couple of times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely be coming back to Wren Cottage.

Our family has been vacationing in Port St. Joe for years and finally full-filled our dream to purchase a beach home of our own in 2017. Our cottage is named after our Irish family and shares the name with our daughter who came into our lives in 2018. Our laid back lifestyle really fits with the PSJ culture making it the perfect location for us to plant roots!

We built the Wren Cottage as a family friendly beach cottage. We wanted easy access to the ocean, biking and walking paths and convenient access to restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet, full of wonderful people and wildlife and very close to downtown PSJ for convenience.

The front porch with swing is a great additional space for swinging and enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The house is professionally decorated so we know that you are going to love the overall look and feel of the home.
