Heron L04 Location and Condo Perfect

Spent the mornings drinking our coffee on patio while looking over the Bay. The combo was the perfect size for a group of 7. The hot tub was used daily and was perfect for the chilly nights after a day of exploring the Destin area beaches. The fully equipped kitchen made Thanksgiving dinner a breeze. My daughter even made cookies and brownies! The condo is decorated beautifully. The couches comfortable enough to lounge on while watching tv. Our teenaged son slept in the pull out bed and he said it was comfortable.

This vacation was perfection. We loved the pools, lazy river, hot tubs, personal hot tub, easy access to the beach and bay. We pooped right next door and rented a potoon one day. We were so comfortable. The beds were amazing. I really cant say enough good about our stay. It was so relaxing!

All good, some lacking in kitchen. No electric can opener also kitchen cabinets in total disarray Patio/ balcony needs cleaning. I understand it is the end of the summer and get messed up toward the end with a lot of use. Would be great to have a lounge chair or 2 on the patio/ balcony Thanks

Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay! Great, clean place. Had everything we needed. We loved the easy access out of the condo. And the pool, private hot tub and other amenities were great even for staying in December! We would definitely stay again. Thank you Coastal Vibe Vacations.

We had an Amazing Trip and Best time at the Heron L4 at the Destin West Bay. The condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our stay. We had access to the beach, the pier and the lazy river. The resort was beautiful, clean and the maintenance staff were very helpful. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay. Thank you and we look forward to our next vacation here. ❤️👍😊

We have stayed at Destin West a couple of times but this condo is by far our favorite! We loved the hot tub on our deck and the condo was beautiful! We have never stayed on the bay side but wow it did not disappoint! We will stay here again! Love Coastal Vibe always takes great care of us!

Great family vacation

A beautiful condo. Very clean. Well equipped. The location was a bit far from the beach, but not too bad of a walk.. We brought our jet skis and were able to bring them close to the condo to swap out riders and ride them in the Bay Area. The pool area was very nice and refreshing on hot summer days.

Incredible Rental

Our family was so comfortable during our week stay! We were blown away by the quality of furniture, amenities, and the entire condo. We were also very impressed with the evening grounds keeper; he worked diligently to pick up the smallest palm debris after storms and would check in to see how our stay was going. We loved having access to the dock, bay, and beach without getting in the car. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in Destin/Fort Walton Beach area.

This place was perfect for our Spring Break getaway. The place had three large bedrooms that easily housed the six adults that were on the trip. The hot tub was awesome. The pool and lazy river were great as well. The location is a short walk to the beach. It took about 5 minutes to get there. The beach was really clean and not overcrowded. You are able to access the beach via a private walk way which is really nice. The place is centrally located for dining options in Destin as well as Fort Walton beach. Will definitely stay here again if we are looking for something in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area.

Wonderful vacation home!

Our family had a phenomenal time and couldn’t say enough good things about this condo! The location is perfect. Access to both beach and bay are so fun! All the amenities were there. We loved our time in the hot tub and such close Access to pools! Couldn’t recommend more!!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. Great weather-great food and great fun. Our room was wonderful. Only downside I could say was that the lazy river needed skimming more often. Would recommend to others.

Best condo in the best beach resort

We’ve been staying at Destin west since 2015. We keep trying different condos to see which one we like. This one is by far our new favorite. Already booked for next year! Clean, huge, sleeps 10, and the decor is so beachy and elegant. Checkin was a breeze! Plenty of towels and the working hot tub was fabulous! Zero complaints. Highly recommend this condo as well as Coastal Vibe vacations.

Awesome time and stay

Heron L-04 was perfect for our stay. This was the first time we came to Destin West in September. I truly believe this was the best time to be there. Condo was clean and well furnished. It will definitely be oun our list again for next year.

Excellent Family retreat!

Beautiful and clean condo- perfect for a family get away! Our girls loved the bunk beds and my oldest felt safe to sleep up top! Comfortable beds, loved the hot tub for when the kids needed a break from the sun. Many card games were played out there! We of course love the Destin west lazy river, pool and access to the bay and gulf. Ricks on the island next door had delicious pizza, seafood and drinks. We will be back next year!

Wonderful Holiday

We had a wonderful stay in this condo! We have been to Destin West before but this was the first time staying in a lower level condo. It was worth it! Walk right down to the pool, view of the bay, and our own hot tub for the chilly evenings are a few of the perks. We enjoyed walking to Rick's next door for the amazing pizza and beer. Also we like the option of walking to Tom Thumb for last minute snacks or drinks. The condo and hot tub were very clean and well decorated. The mattresses in main bedrooms were comfortable. The only complaint was the number of wash cloths and hand towels: For 5 people only 5 were provided so it meant doing laundry way too often for vaca! We would stay again. Thank you for a great stay!

Good not great.

We frequent Destin West every year for spring and fall break and have stayed at just about every 3 bedroom unit available on either the Lanai or Penthouse levels. I'd put this one right in the lower levels as far as quality. The master bedroom bed is extremely soft and very worn out, the bedding is old and the bunk room is actually way better as far as comfort of bedding. Pull out couches are functional but if you lay in them they tip backwards. Hot tub was properly cleaned and heated for check in so we appreciated that. The sliding door to the master is not functional. It seems to be off the track. I filed a maintenance request, which was promptly responded to, however he said he could not fix it and it required the glass door people to come, who never came during our 8 day stay. Overall I was slightly disappointed in the quality of the unit however it wasn't by far the worst I've stayed in on this property. Overall that did not detract from our stay and we still had a wonderful trip. The unit was cleaned upon arrival and there were plenty of towels available. I'd say if you're on a budget and can get this unit for less than $300 per night its worth it.
