Beach Villa Wallis - Robinson's Cove

DELUXE BEACH VILLA WALLIS is within Robinson's Cove Private beach Villas, located along a small beach in the world-famous Opunohu bay in Moorea island.



LAYOUT: Villa Wallis accounts 2 bedrooms with A/C (1 double bedroom with a queen bed, the 2nd bedroom upstairs with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds), 1 bathroom with a spacious shower, 1 large lounge, 1 equipped kitchen, 1 large covered lanai.



EQUIPMENT: This is a Deluxe Villa with full amenities (washing machine, dryer, etc) with large glass sliding doors. The covered lanai opens right on the beach as well as the master bedroom. Each villa has a kitchen with large refrigerator/freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Most also have a TV and DVD player. Free Wi-Fi and hot water are included, as well as free kayaks and snorkeling equipment.



ON-SITE CONCIERGE: in Robinson's Cove Villas there is a property manager acting as a concierge. She lives in her own bungalow within the property and will help you for any inquiry or leisure activity you might wish.



AUTOMATIC CAR: a car is advisable for food shopping and restaurants located 10 min drive away:

- we advise to book a Sedan automatic car (A/C, 5 seats)

see booking page to book the vehicle AND ALSO the round trip taxi transfers from Moorea's docks or airport to the Villas. You will get the car once at the Villas.



Robinson's Cove Private Beach Villas are 20 minutes drive from Moorea Airport and Vaiare ferry's docks.

This is for sure a five star island and location. Forget about staying at one of those bungalows. Here, you have friendly dogs, a private beach, access to private snorkeling, a good size kitchen, a grill, a hammock, a private concierge (Alix), and if you want: a boat and car. We highly recommend getting a boat and car. The water here is spectacular and it was cool to boat to the place where snorkeling trips go to see the sharks and rays. The road noise is certainly a thing…but it’s the trade you get when you live amongst the locals and not in a large resort. The outdoor shower (and indoor) were lovely, our weather was perfect, and the furniture for relaxing was amazing. In some ways this place was a bit more rustic than I was used expecting….but it made it feel like a much more authentic and wonderful experience. What a gorgeous country!

Stunningly beautiful villas by the water

We rented 2 of the 3 villas for 10 days and found the experience deeply relaxing and inspiring. The views from the deck very morning were awe inspiring. The kitchen and bedrooms were well appointed, clean, and comfortable.

beautiful Moorea

The property was beautifully located with stunning views of the bay and mountains. The water was wonderful to walk outside our bungalow steps away from the warm water. Snorkeling was good . A little murky water however many fish to see. Some of the other areas and beach parks were very beautiful also especially the one just down the road from our bungalow.The property manager "Alex" was very friendly and happy to help us out with all out questions. Her 2 dogs Pepsi and C-Bullet were nice to have visits from.A stray cat that we named "Wallis" made our stay so much happier as he wanted to be part of our family and we became very attached to him. We spoiled him and fed him Tuna three times each day. It was sad when we had to say goodbye to him. I hope the next visitors welcome him into their vacation stay as well.It would have been nice if there was a propane BBQ instead of a briquette BBQ. The road was directly behind our villa and was very busy and noisy early in the morning and at the end of the day.The air conditioning needed to be covering the entire bungalow. It was only cooling the bedroom. The interior was a little out dated, however comfortable. Other than those few items, we had a wonderful stay and totally loved the privacy.

We had a once-in-a-lifetime dreamy week at Villa Wallis. The location and privacy of this place could not have been better. To have your own private sand beach and coral reef to swim and snorkel over was phenomenal. It has the perfect outdoor living space with plenty of comfy chairs and a hammock to relax and to wind down. We cooked our meals and enjoyed them outside on the outdoor patio. Thank you for having the basics, including coffee and sugar in the kitchen. We so appreciated that There is no doubt that we will return. The steep stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom might be a problem for some guests and it might be worth mentioning in the description of the place. We were OK with it.

Absolutely magical!

This place was an absolute dream. We were greeted with fresh leis and given a full tour. The bedroom and living area feature very wide sliding doors/wall that open up the entire space to your own private beach and the stunning view of those iconic Moorea mountains. We rented a boat and anchored right next to the villa. Even the bathroom/shower was beautiful and also fully and thoughtfully stocked from beach towels, to locally made soaps/scents/shampoo. Kitchen had everything you could need. Before our first day was up, we were daydreaming together about coming back for as long as possible. I can't think of anything. Just take good care of it so that we can enjoy it again someday!

We really loved it!

Such an ideal location, surrounded by natural beauty, we found it the perfect place to settle in and relax. The house is charming and so clean with everything we needed for our 9 day stay. Alix was lovely and there for any questions, however, it was very private and peaceful. The bay is spectacular and we loved kayaking every morning. You can almost feel like a local staying in this sweet home. We absolutely loved it! Everything was great!!

Wonderful bungalow on the water

The location of Villa Wallis is unparalleled. We heard the manta rays feeding at night and saw the small black fin sharks play during the day. The beach wasn't terribly accessible for seniors, however the Ta'Ahiamanu Beach is right up the road and offers a great sandy beach and easy access. The Villa is nicely appointed (the bathroom is luxurious) and the lanai is where we spent the majority of our time when we weren't exploring the island. Denis and Alix were a pleasure to work with and very responsive and accommodating. They arranged for a rental car for our visit which is a recommended. We loved Moorea and would stay again.

A tropical paradise

Authentic & luxurious accommodation with a breathtaking view. The bungalow is well equipped with everything needed for a trouble free holiday and the car was an added bonus which gave huge flexibility, as we could shop and explore the Island at our leisure. Relaxation & well-being of this magnitude is not easy to find, but Villa Wallis provided a calmness that gave the ultimate 'un-wind' experience (especially for my stressed out workaholic hubby). This is what memories are made of...Thank you Villa Wallis not a thing!

Dreamiest place to stay on Moorea!

Villa Wallis is an absolute dream! It is decorated beautifully, sparkling clean and has such a well designed flow of indoor and outdoor space. We loved spending time lounging on the big deck enjoying the view (loved the hammock), snorkeling right in our “backyard” and taking out the kayaks for sunset. We are partial to this bay because of the mountain views and to have right off the deck was such a treat. It was tough to leave to explore the island because it felt like we had everything here at our fingertips!

Robinson’s Cove delivered everything advertised

Dennis, it has been a week since we got back home. The eight days spent at Wallis Villa more than met our expectations. The location would not have been better, about midway between all the places to see and things to do. It was clean and well equipped without radio or TV. Private parking for our car was great. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. The view, the water, the private beach made this truly a paradise for out 50th wedding anniversary. The porch/deck was outstanding, in fact we spent almost all our awake time on the deck. Imagine, just a few steps to water with our private beach. I was in the water every morning while coffee was brewing. We have been many places, but this will go down as the best location ever. We do not know how it could be topped. It is truly a paradise and once in a lifetime experience. We have traveled extensively over the years and we can truly say Robinson’s Cove delivered everything advertised: with the snorkeling equipment, kayak and other equipment, we had everything we needed to enjoy the water, just steps from our deck. Also, we thank Alex for taking care of our every request. We are especially grateful that she got us in contact with the photographer Cecile Flipo to take some photos of us for our 50th. Cecile captured exactly what we wanted and really wowed us with her photographs. We would recommend Robinson’s Cove to anyone who wants to get away to a private paradise.
