This townhouse sits right alongside the McCall Golf Club, just about a mile north of the breweries, restaurants, eateries, and shops in downtown McCall. Spend summer days lounging on the shores of Payette Lake (a quarter-mile west), setting sail from the Mile High Marina (one mile southwest), or hiking and biking at Ponderosa State Park (half a mile north). In the winter, you'll be close to a wealth of great snowshoeing trails nearby and excellent downhill ski runs at Brundage Mountain (11 miles northwest).

The space was good as far as having a nice big family room to hang out in and watch TV. The kitchen was open, which was nice. The bedrooms were large and spacious.Some things that need improvement ASAP: the pillows on the beds. Found them all to be relatively uncomfortable and had a hard time getting a good nights sleep.The brown couch in the family room is basically unsuitable as far as the cushions are warped andā€¦ I can't really describe how bad the couch is. Some things in the kitchen would make a stay easier: sugar, without rat poop in it, some olive oil,

We had a great time staying here! Came for a long weekend. Super close to the lake and right on the golf course. House was clean and large. Had everything we needed.

The condo was conveniently located and very clean. Vacasa makes all logistics smooth and simple. This worked out great for a company work trip.

Great Place to stay

Overall the property is very clean. Could use better cooking supplies and an actual key to enter the property. The keyless lock doesn't work every time and will time out before getting the entire code in. Will loved the property otherwise and would stay here again.

Some good some bad

We had trouble entering home. Security code entry system didnā€™t function. Prop management gave us key access. Again we had trouble bc the entire security entry system needs replacement. Also, the garage door keypad didnā€™t close the garage door. We were told this couldnā€™t be addressed until after our stay. Kitchen is not properly stocked - 3 dull knives and pots and pans with teflon that were way past reasonable usage. Also 2 packets of dishwasher soap is not sufficient for a 4 nights stay. Dishwasher rack is broken. The home needs some TLC. But on the bright side the location was great. It was a short walk to beach and Ponderosa Park and downtown were close by.

Beautiful Quiet Getaway

We stayed at this house with a mixed family (small children, adults, and a senior). All of the amenities worked, and the host was up front about things that weren't available (fireplace). We have stayed at a condo in the same building, and this unit was heavily renovated and update to have a very nice kitchen and better showers/bathrooms. We loved watching the deer on the golf course every morning and our street was very quiet while being 5 minutes drive from downtown. The only drawback involved the kitchen being bare of cooking items like napkins, Pam, spices, etc. They had plenty of pots, pans, silverware, and dishes so that is small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. Definitely will be coming back! Loved the place!

Terrible place

There were two positives about this place that I really liked. One was the garage is big enough for a full size pickup with a hitch rack on the back of it. Second, there were three bedrooms with three separate full bathrooms, which was nice. Beyond that, the rest of this place is terrible. The cleaners left half used toiletries in the downstairs bathroom. Several of the interior doors are hung crooked so that they never stay open nor do they latch closed. The pillows in the house look like they have been around for 30 years. Every one of them should be thrown away because they are ratty looking and have no fill or body left. It is one of the most poorly stocked kitchens I've ever seen. Literally there were two spoons to use in the kitchen drawer. We had to go out buy our own corkscrew. There were other issues as well. If you plan on eating out every meal then the kitchen issues might not be so bad. And honestly, my family thought the beds were really uncomfortable. Every one of them.

Don't Stay! We Won't Be Coming Back!

This was our third time at this condo in 3 years. The first year it was dirty. Then I saw in the reviews that the cleanliness was improving in 2021, so we went back and were pleasantly surprised. We were going to make it a family tradition every summer. NOT NOW! This year was the worst by far. The condo was filthy. Dirty dishes in cupboards, baked on coffee in the filthy dirty coffee pot (it was literally brown from burning onto the pot), stiff and musty towels, fireplace was still not working, and a gas safety issue (we couldn't use the stove), etc... (I could go on and on!) I reached out before we left, and the day we left. I received emails telling me that the "local management team" would get back to me. After one week back home, I emailed again was told that the "local management team" denied my request for a cleaning fee refund. No one even called to find out what the gas problem was all about. I would think that would be pretty a concerning safety issue. Wondering if it was even addressed? Not the customer service and hospitality we were expecting for the price. Pretty disappointing!

Great townhouse, property management could be improved

Response from the property management was non existent. I guess they responded to tell me they were working on things and to be assured, but never resolved anything. Itā€™s kind of a bummer, I think itā€™s common with large management companies. They sent our issue to the local manager and we never heard from them. We just went and bought what was missing, which were trash bags. Seems like it should have been pretty easy to resolve. The place was great with each bedroom having an en-suite and the location was really good. We go to resort towns a lot, Iā€™ll avoid Vacasa properties when possible.

Delightful not perfect

The property was lovely and comfortable, but the fireplace wasnā€™t working and it was the defining reasons for renting this property. Also, the rooms were clean, but the shower was not which was not noticed till the next day after giving a 5 for cleanliness. The soaker tub was lovely, but we ran low on hot water before it filled up entirely. We loved that a streaming device was available and enjoyed watching the deer grazing on the golf course. It was nice to have access to a garage, but couldnā€™t figure out how to use the code. Thankfully there was a key to get in the side door. We had a lovely time, it just wasnā€™t perfect.

Shiner Creek Retreat

We had a wonderful time, beautiful home. We were able to see deer right off the back patio. Neighbors were kind and polite. All check in information and check out was a smooth process. Vacasa was responsive to our needs. I would stay again.

Lacking in housekeeping

Upon arrival the house wasnā€™t ready for us, meaning it hadnā€™t been touched by housekeeping since the lady tenant. Beds were stopped, dirty linen and kitchen wasnā€™t cleaned. I contacted Vacasa and finally talked to a human, which then told me I would be contacted in 15-30 minutes from someone local. 30 minutes passed and I received no phone call. I then called back the Vacasa answering service and complained. I kept asking to talk with a local supervisor about the situation and all I got in response was ā€œwe are communicating with them.ā€ After a long frustrating call, I demanded a refund and stayed the night in a hotel. In the morning I got a text that the rental was ready and the house was clean. I did get my cleaning fee refunded and a nights stay. They house was overall nice and had a perfect relaxing location. But the local Vacasa service isnā€™t the best.

Spacious and comfortable home

Excellent place to stay if you have a family that both skis downhill and nordic. Ponderosa State Park, full of nordic ski trails, is walking distance. The home is very comfortable. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (downstairs one also accessible through front hall). Easy kitchen.

Condo on the greens

Our fireplace did not work, they came and put propane in when we were leaving, so assume that was the problem. McCall Idaho is a mile high city and the altitude bothered my husband so we had to cut our stay short. But loved the location, condo, check in and check out.

This is a relaxing vacation condo!

We really enjoyed this property, especially for it's close proximity to Payette Lake and Ponderosa Park. The deck was a great place to catch some fall sun and watch golfers and a daily parade of deer munching on the course! The condo itself is comfortable with a few exceptions: there isn't adequate nighttime lighting for the path from the garage or the porch. There is no hand railing for the front steps, which is important for the safety of those of us with a new hip. We only used the master, which was spacious and the bed was super comfortable, but the room was super dusty. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Had a wonderful time!

We loved the location and the home is beautiful!! Our only problem was if you have any elderly or handicapped it is not friendly. The bath downstairs is a large tub with no grab bars and there are no rails to go up front steps. That being said we had a lovely two weeks!!
