Luxurious Ground floor Villa with 2 Master Bedrms and views

Gorgeous 1300 sq. ft. condo in Legacy Villas. Legacy Villas is set against the Santa Rosa Mountains and next door to the world famous Waldorf Astoria Resort and Spa in La Quinta. Legacy Villas has 12 sparkling salt water pools (including 2 lap pools) and 11 spas throughout the community. The two large main pools have poolside cabanas and water entertainment for the children. Your villa is very close to the main pools and just steps from two of the satellite pools.
Unlike some of the other units in Legacy, this villa is unobstructed by other units. Therefore, you have a clear view of the Legacy Villas lush landscape and the picturesque Santa Rosa Mountains. Additionally, there is a grass area directly off the two patios, which is ideal if you have small children. They can play within your immediate sight, while you relax on the patio. Our villa is west-facing so that you can enjoy the beautiful La Quinta sunsets right outside your living room door!
This 1,300 sq. ft. villa has 2 master bedrooms with king size beds, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining area, full size kitchen, washer, dryer and 2 private patios in a truly peaceful settings. You will enjoy the large HDTV in the living room as well as flat screen TV's in each bedroom. We have HBO, Showtime and all the premium cable channels for your enjoyment..

There was everything we needed in the unit. It was very clean, organized, the linens and towels were excellent quality, everything was in great shape! Melynie, our host, was extremely responsive and answered all my questions. We did not use the pool but it was lovely. It is a beautiful area.

Great property and nice setting

Very enjoyable stay and I would go back for sure. The only minor negative is that the kitchen needs some new accessories/small appliances.

Great weekend

We just spent another great weekend at the Legacy Villas for the Sandstorm annual lacrosse tournament. Property location is great, spacious, clean and was stocked with all the amenities we needed. Melynie was a great host before and during our stay and hope to be back next year.

Perfect family getaway

Our family of four just spent a long weekend here and we really liked this unit. It has very comfortable beds and nice linens. It’s situated directly across from a lovely smaller pool and it’s a short walk to the main pool. Melanye, the owner, is very responsive and did everything possible to make our stay perfect! Highly recommend.

Wonderful weekend stay

Our family really enjoyed this condo and the community. This unit was bright and clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, furniture and a well stocked kitchen. It was a great layout for our family of four but would be perfect for two couples too. The condo was perfectly located for quick access to the pool and very quiet. We loved sitting outside to enjoy our morning coffee or happy hour at sunset. We will be back to this unit!

Beautiful unit

We were very pleased with the unit for ourselves, our adult son as well as our dog. Nicely decorated and the location was close to two pools as well as the main clubhouse pools. Melonie was very responsive to any questions or messages I had sent. Looking forward to our next stay at her property.

Best Stay Yet in La Quinta

This is our 4th visit to LQ and first time staying at Legacy Villas. We have found our perfect spot! The community is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by mountains with incredible views, 12 pools and hot tubs as well as a fitness center. We loved the resort feel, the beautiful views right from the condo (inside and out), the close proximity to Old Town La Quinta and the open and airy feeling of Melynie’s villa. Location was great, a short walk to the main pool and fitness center. It was also very nice to be on the ground floor and have grass right outside for our dog to play in. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful but Fort Knox

The unit is beautiful & spacious, better than pictured. But security is ridiculously tight & no fun can be had here. My friends husband came to surprise her & he wasn't allowed to stay here because it "sleeps 4". We are grown adults, travel a lot & have never been treated so poorly and so restricted by such extreme inflexibility.

I'm very sorry you feel you were treated poorly and with inflexibility. I believe you feel this way because you were unable to add a 5th person to your reservation. Unfortunately this person tried to gain overnight access to Legacy Villas by lying to security. Security justifiebly turned him away. To be fair, I was very clear with you from the day of your booking that my condo has a maximum occupancy of 4 people. I also advised you of the heightened security during the Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals. I let you know too that all overnight guests had to be registered in advance. During the Festivals we have a huge number of visitors to the Coachella Valley. We can only accommodate a limited no. at Legacy Villas to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Again, I am very sorry you feel the way you do. I go to great lengths to have my guests enjoy a memorable and fun filled visit to my vacation home and to our beautiful desert.

Weekend Getaway

Positives: Condo was very clean and well stocked. Owner was helpful, responsive and accommodating. The grounds and setting are beautiful. The pools are well kept and refreshing. Negatives: One of the king beds should be replaced. It didn’t isolate movement and made a restful night’s sleep difficult. The owners ask that the thermostat not be set lower than 76 degrees. For my family, that is too warm for comfortable sleeping conditions.

Hi Karen, First my apologies that your family was not comfortable sleeping with the a/c at 76. IID (our electric co.) has repeatedly asked us not to set our a/c's below 78 because of the strain on the grid. Everyone is trying to cooperate so as not to have black out conditions - especially here in the desert. About the bed - I have just replaced all the flooring with hardwood. I was unaware that this would affect the beds. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I have since fixed the problem. I hope you will come back and give my condo another try. I most sincerely wish my guests to always have a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Melynie

Exactly what we needed!

Came for a girls trip! Check in was easy peasy - Melyne was awesome to work with…walking in unit was clean and smelled good! Unit was supplied with everything we needed in kitchen and bathroom! Towels were soft, linens were clean, bed was super comfy. Loved smart TVs. I was pleasantly surprised with how close the unit was to multiple pools and could pick which pool based on scenery or how busy pool was. Gym was sufficient and we spent a lot of time at the main clubhouse area…which is gorgeous. Awesome access to the cabanas which felt ritzy! Everything on the grounds was very clean and well kept. Laquinta was a nice sleepy little area to stay in - close to some nice hikes as well. Would for sure stay here again!!!!

Girls Trip

Melynie was lovely! We were able to get in early on the first day and the condo had everything we needed. The ac regulations were tough because it was super hot but the large fans were great, and a night dip in the pool definitely helps. We were very comfortable and the location is excellent. Short walk to town or a cheap Uber ride to get dinner and drinks.
