Clean, beautiful lake getaway for the family

Recently renovated, non-smoker, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home located on the east side of Shavehead Lake in Vandalia, Michigan. The lake is a 289 acre spring fed, all sports lake located just 15 minutes off of I-90. Enjoy floating in warm lake water, including a shallow sand water entry (great for the kiddos!), sit on the porch and watch the kids play on the small beach or fish for Large Mouth Bass off of the dock. When you have tired of lake play, relax in the 6 person hot tub! As the evening falls, enjoy some time around the fire making Smores. This is the perfect home to relax, unwind and watch beautiful sunsets.

The space
Our home was designed for 3 families to enjoy. The upper level includes a living area with a combination billiards/ping pong/air hockey table and 60" TV (a picture of this space has not been updated - the brown leather sofa has been replaced with the combo rec table), the master bedroom with King size bed and ensuite with stand up shower, a Bunk Room with three sets of bunk beds (6 twins total) with access to the Jack and Jill full bathroom with stand up shower, and a third bedroom with full size bed that overlooks the lake.

The lower level has the fourth bedroom with a queen size bed, an open concept living area, full bathroom, kitchen and laundry room. The living area has an amazing view of the lake, along with the kitchen, dining area with seating for 6, full bathroom with tub, a washer and dryer for your convenience and a living room with leather sectional sofa, reclining chair and 58" flat screen. Access to the large screened in porch with additional table seating for 6 and lounge chairs is just off the living room.

The kitchen will have all of the basics that you need, along with a toaster, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Just off the screened in porch, you will find a gas grill perfect for cooking up your lunch and dinner, along with a second level deck with picnic table and high top seating.

The backyard includes a six person hot tub and a fire pit. The shed contains one double and one single person kayaks for you to use! Boats and jet skis are on the property, but not available for renters to use.
