Exceeded our expectations for a weekend getaway! The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was beautiful and well-maintained, and the short walk to the beach made it easy to come and go throughout the day. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better location or a more relaxing stay. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Lake Getaway

Property was as advertised. Everything was satisfactory. We were there during a very hot week of 95 degree weather which made the lake that much more desirable, but the ac had a hard time keeping up with the great room, & loft areas. We were able to catch sunfish, perch and bass right off of the dock. We would definitely return.

Great Family Vacation.

We love being on the lake! The house was spacious with plenty of sleeping spaces. The lake front was great. The water was shallow with firm sand. The owners were very responsive to all our requests.

I complained about the dock last year and once again the dock needs to be repaired! It would only take a few new bolts and level it off to make it much safer to use. The rest of our stay was excellent! Looking forward to going back next year!

Vandailia home

This home was very nice! If it had been summer, perfect with the water right there and shallow. We stayed for our daughter's wedding at nearby Gable Hill. The only issue we had was the element on the hot water heater went out, so no hot water. However, the owner sent Mike over to fix it and he took care of it!

Nice!

The Vandalia home is clean, spacious and very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and appliances. The rooms were very nice and the loft bedroom is huge! If not for the boat dock in need for repairs I would have given 5 stars. The location, although far from any decent grocery shopping is very nice. The lake is very clean but be careful with your boat as there are some shallow areas (I actually bent my prop by the boat ramp). Overall it was a fantastic week in Vandalia!

Perfect for three couples get-together!!

Everything was as described and as pictured. Except the grill. The men were rather disappointed that it was so dirty. The ladies cooked in the kitchen which was well supplied. Even caught a couple fish right out front. The contact person was in touch often to make sure everything was alright. It was rather cool to be grilling out anyway, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

Home is situated perfectly on the lake and capitalizes on the beautiful views

The home is built to capitalize on the beautiful lake view. We were in town for a wedding and did not have the opportunity to go out on the lake or even on the dock. The home has every amenity you could need, from a washer/dryer, multiple hair dryer's, fully stocked kitchen, multiple TVs, board games, and such. The driveway was a little narrow, be careful to park directly in the center, especially when it rains heavily. Home was also VERY easy to locate, thank you for the large mailbox numbers! If you are looking for a large space for a large group, with room to move, this is a great option!

Large Airy Common Space, Plenty of Comfy Seating

We rented for my family plus to stay for weekend Wedding at Camp Tannadoonah. After checking in we decided to pivot the place for all the girls to get ready for the big event at this lakehouse because it was perfect! Lots of room for two makeup artists and two hair stylists to ready up eight girls with lovely natural light coming in the plentiful floor to ceiling windows. It will make for great photos!!! Also the deck with lake backdrop, perfect for photos. Lots of comfy seating for everyone! Beds were to my liking, with two of the bedrooms on the first floor, so great! Both bathrooms are very large and complete. Kitchen feels loved and lived in with plenty of glasses, mugs, plates to use. Long driveway for nice safe parking. Owner was very quick to respond to each question I had. I feel very lucky to have picked Evolve and this particular lakehouse for our perfect occasion. Thank you!

Great Location!

Create place for a family vacation! A large home on a beautiful lake. Any issues that arose were handled immediately by the owners. I would let future travelers know that the shower in the master bath is extremely small and that the kitchen is fully equipped but definitely not organized. Would definitely recommend the property!

Spacious Home on beautiful lake

We had a great experience with this property with our two kids ages 10 and 12. There is plenty of room to spread out and entertain if you have a large group. The home is stocked with all the comforts of home and the beds were comfortable. The lawn to the lake is large and flat. The lake water is clean and the bottom is sandy. We caught several small fish. We would definitely return.

Awesome house!

So well furnished and the kitchen was well stocked with amenities. We found everything we needed to cook our meals. Very clean, nice quality sheets and bedding. Great seating areas for multi family gatherings. Loved the view of the lake and the water edge was shallow and you could wade around. We definitely would recommend staying here.

Family Get Together

This lovely, spacious place provided our family of 8, including 2 children, lots of space, light & comfy seating to enjoy ourselves in spite of the rainy weather. There were extra chairs to give each of us a place at the inside dining table and a well stocked kitchen with all the plates, glasses, silverware and room to make our own delicious meals. Thanks to Charlene, the grill was freshly cleaned and we had lots of propane for the meats. We did bring a grill mat to protect the grill as well as the food. The deck would have been great if the weather had cooperated and the lake view was amazing, misty mornings and even swans. Wish the dock had been left in the lake for us during the few breaks in the weather. We went for walks in the neighborhood instead. Would love to rent again!

Fantastic.

A wonderful experience for my wife and parents over a long weekend . Way too much space for the 4 of us, so I could definitely see this being a great place for a larger family . The home had everything you could need. Beautifull lake views, water so warm in September , fishing wasn't half bad either . Would definitely recommend .

Family Vacation

Overall, we had a wonderful time. The house is big and has lots of sleeping options. It really is a "just bring your clothes and toothbrush" type of home, it literally has everything you could possibly need. With that being said, this home has seen better days. The furnishings, although comfortable, are dated. The kitchen has a huge refrigerator/freezer and a decent electric stove. There are a few spices and a few can goods. You will find the kitchen fully stocked with all sizes of dishes, bowels, cups, glasses, pots, pans, Cookie sheets, cutlery, utincels and knives. The only issue was that there is a TON of everything! The drawers and cupboards are completely unorganized which makes it a balancing act when trying to extract an item. Although there is a functional dishwasher, we found some of the dishware, cups, untincils etc., to be dirty. We ruined 2 meals due to the grill being so dirty, our meat caught fire. It would have been nice if the lawn had been moved before we arrived, not on day 4 at 8am, it also made it impossible not to track a ton of fresh cut grass into the house. The towels were clean and plentiful and beds pretty comfortable. Also, one trash can, for 8 people, for 5 days is insufficient. Again, we had a wonderful time.
