Beautiful lakefront cabin with stunning 180 degree unobstructed views. Enjoy the lush lawn leading to the water's edge and your own private dock. Dock sits in extremely deep water and is perfect for your boat, swimming, and fishing. Two private buoys.
Enjoy all types of water sports, including boating, wake boarding, tubing, jet skis, kayaking, paddle boarding, you name it! South facing 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin sleeps 8, and the large lakeside deck is equipped with a dining table w/ seating for eight and a cozy fire pit chat set.

The cabin is immaculately kept and well stocked. Brand new flooring/carpet/rugs throughout entire cabin! Enjoy wireless internet, cable television, a multi zone SONOS sound system. New bed linens and fresh towels throughout. The granite counter top kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities, and features an oven/range with 5 gas burners, refrigerator with ice maker, and dishwasher. Outdoor gas grill. Our kitchen has everything you'll need to make a gourmet meal after a long day on the lake. This is our dream vacation home, and we want it to be yours too, so we make every effort to make sure you have what you need for a relaxing vacation by the lake.

Located one mile from the Red Onion Grill, Tantardino's Pizzeria, and the Peninsula Market.

Located about 10 minutes from the town of Chester.

*Our home does not have central heat and air. The home is heated by a wood burning stove or propane heater in the family room that comfortably heats the entire home. Cooling provided by ceiling fans, mother nature, and the lake!

What an amazing location and hidden gem! We will definitely be back! Perfect house to accommodate our family (teenage boys). The yard is spectacular - perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and the view. Perfect for fisherman, paddle boarding, and kayaking.Easy access to a great little grocery store and local restaurants. We had the most incredible stay at Red Roof Cabin and guest house with our family! We have been coming to Lake Almanor for 30 years, and this was one of the best experiences we have ever had! The property was stunning! Our kids had the best time swimming off the dock all day long. The cabin is also very comfortable, clean, and has everything you need! Ashlee is a fantastic host! She is so easy to communicate with, and has done an amazing job creating a wonderful experience for her guests. We will truly never forget our week at Red Roof Cabin and will definitely be back!

Peaceful, playful family getaway!

We love Lake Almanor and we now have a new favorite place to stay on the lake, the Red Roof Cabin!! We were there with our two teen boys (14 & 16) and my 80 year old mom. The house was so wonderful... comfortable bedrooms, great bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, the most comfortable recliner chairs and recliner sofa in the living room, a big family dining table, and the best deck for sitting in the sun or in the shade and enjoying the everchanging views of the lake. We rented the kayaks and paddleboards that the Mr. and Mrs. Gai have available and had so much fun taking them in the water, plus swimming in the lake, and jumping off the dock's new diving board. We enjoyed every minute of being together in and around the house. Mr. and Mrs. Gai are so welcoming, friendly and helpful-- they gave us information and tips before we arrived, were interested in how our stay was going, and were very helpful in so many ways. We haven't met, but it felt like staying at the home of friends. We look forward to returning to this lovely, comfortable home and our beloved Lake Almanor!

Slice of heaven

The lovely home is comfortable and well-appointed throughout: the kitchen, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms. The deck furniture was quite nice and the table would easily accommodates a larger group. The VIEW makes it hard to leave. I spent a lot of time just sitting on the dock. In fact, we had to tear ourselves away to go for short hikes. The owner was delightful and incredibly easy to work. We appreciated her quick responses to our texts, asking for information. We arrived tired and were tickled to find chilled glasses in the freezer. A nice touch that shows the owners' attention to details. Nothing like a cold beverage after a long, hot drive. We very much look forward to returning to this slice of heaven!

The perfect family getaway

Our family of 7, kids ages from 1 to 11, had an incredible stay at this property. The cabin has everything we needed and more. The views of the lake were incredible and the boat dock was really nice. We had so much to do, we brought bikes and went on the Almanor Rec bike trail, went boating and used the property’s mooring buoy (very convenient), plenty of fishing, went to Lassen National Park (highly recommend), and just relaxed at the cabin and enjoyed the views. Sitting in those red chairs on the lawn overlooking the lake was maybe the best part of it all. Thanks again Ashlee for a great stay and the great communication throughout. I am sure we will be back again!

Beautiful Lake Almanor

Absolutely outstanding cabin to stay in! It’s just the right size, excellent location and most beautiful view of the lake that there is. Enjoying seeing the lake otters on the deck early in the morning and the blue Herron out and about while we were fishing. We had a great time at the cabin and out fishing. I highly recommend this property to anyone planning on coming to Lake Almanor!

Perfect Getaway!

I can't say enough good things about this property and the host. Everything was perfect. We had a spot for our boat, we went fishing and swimming off the dock, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking in, the beds were comfortable, and the outdoor deck furniture accommodated us for dining and for after dinner cocktails around the firepit. Ashlee helped us prior to arrival with suggestions on things to do in the area, but we ended up spending all of our time at the house and on the lake! We hope to be back soon!

Lakefront Excellence

The Red Roof Lakefront is a great place for a family or a couple to enjoy the beauty of Lake Almanor. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities you'll need. We just stayed at what may be heaven on earth. The house is a perfect mix of mountain charm and modern touches. Perfect location to all local amenities and what a view to wake up to every morning. Peace at the lake

This property is amazing. The host is very caring evidenced not only by the thoughtful details throughout the house, but also by her personal outreach. The home is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. Stay At Red Roof Cabin

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views of the lake. The boat dock was excellent for our jet skis and would be great for a boat as well. Ashli, the owner was so accommodating and available for questions. Would highly recommend this vacation rental!

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The house is located on the best side of the lake with an amazing view. Ashlee was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house had everything we needed. Even though the lake was low we were still able to tie our boat up to the buoy and use the dock as needed. We will definitely come back to this house when we come to the lake.

My husband and I had been searching for the perfect vacation home for years. We found this home and fell in love. It checked all the boxes for us: A cozy home, beautiful views, lake front location with a private dock, all on a lake that was warm enough to swim in, calm enough to wake board and surf on, filled with fish for the catching, and located in a welcoming, friendly community. My favorite part of the day is enjoying my morning cup of coffee while I watch the fishing boats troll by. We hope you love it as much as we do.
