Your vacation starts as soon as you arrive to this beautiful place located on top of the rolling hills in the heart of the wine country. This French country home is perfect for couples romantic retreat and family getaways. It is 5 minutes walking distance to wineries and hiking and biking trails. Enter into a beautiful living space with all the charm and comfort of home looking out to beautiful vineyards and rolling hills
The space
The perfectly decorated home it is beautiful as well as comfortable. There is plenty of room for 6 guests. The home is on more than 3 acres along with two other vacation rentals And each home very unique and private. They all have private patios , fire pits and gas grill and they are not shared. The home features a very well appointed country French inspired décor with 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths. A King size bed in the master along with a queen size futon. In the second bedroom. There a king size bed as well, There is also a fold out sofa with a memory foam mattress. In the living room. All the mattresses are new and very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with all new appliances. This house has a private patio with dining tables and chairs as well as an outside gas grill and gas fire pit. There is a laundry room on the property. . The land backs up to an orange orchard and wine vines just down the hill. There are endless views and nice places to sit and enjoy. So pleasant are the surroundings you will be outside more than inside. In the morning bring your coffee outside and see the hot air balloons getting underway. Across the way you will hear donkeys and roosters getting their day started. In the neighborhood you may also see roadrunners, foxes and a family of hawks do a fly by (the hawks not the roadrunner and foxes).
There is such a positive energy about Temecula with so many activities. We know you will enjoy the property and easy ability to get to your activities. Come out and make some memories. We look forward to hosting you.

Cute little French-inspired cottage was clean and had everything we needed. I appreciate that my dog was allowed to stay but we couldn’t tell if the entire property was gated so we kept an eye on her. We could tell from the pictures that there were 4 rental spaces on the site but the cottage still felt very private. Jacuzzi was clean and worked great after a long day of wine tasting. Couch, mattress, sheets, and pillows were incredibly comfortable.

We had a great stay, and would definitely come back. The property was quiet and relaxing. There were beautiful views in the evening with the sun setting. The beds were comfortable and there was nothing we could have needed.

Beautiful house ! Great location

Beautiful location in wine country

This was the ideal location for the area and wine tasting. Sitting outside to watch the sunset was absolutely gorgeous!

Great birthday celebration!

A nice country getaway. The unpaved road to get there was a surprise but we got used to it. Close to the wineries where we had our birthday celebrations.

Beautiful spot!

The house and the outdoor spaces were really lovely. It’s close to the vineyards and the views are amazing! We also loved that we could bring our dog. Hermine was communicative and helpful. It was great all around!

Great Home

Stayed here for a night for a girls trip and we enjoyed the spa & bbq. Place is really cute & quiet. Make sure your car is ok on uneven dirt/gravel roads though which I wasn’t expecting to have to drive on to get to the house.

Wine Tasting

Overall the home was well kept. Great location to wineries. Easy to get Uber to gate. Beds comfortable hot tub is a nice touch. Recommend house rentals over hotels. Plenty of room and full kitchen is nice

Fun Weekend

There were 2 couples that rented the house and it was very accommodating. Each bedroom had a king sized bed and each had their own bath. The outside area was very nice and our communication with the owner was great.

Excellent Property!!

The house was beautiful! It was nice and clean. I chose this property because it was close to the winery where my nephew was getting married. It was 10 minutes from almost all of the wineries in the area, perfect central location. Loved that it was pet friendly. The day we checked out we met one of the owners of the property, very nice man and we enjoyed chatting with him. The hot tub was a great addition that we thoroughly enjoyed, especially for me after being in heels all evening at the wedding. It was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. We heard lots of wildlife in the distance, hawks, owls and coyotes at night. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property, it would be great for a group that wants to do a wine tasting weekend!

Unexpected Findings

We experienced a number of issues that had been mentioned in previous reviews and were clearly not yet addressed. We have provided feedback to the host and hope it will serve as motivation to take corrective action.

Thank you for your review, this guest was clearly aware that this property is in ranch setting and there are problems with ants and spiders and etc. we do spray on regular basis and can’t control the population entirely. If you leave food out on the counter you will attract ants. We provide spray . This guest made this the focus of their stay which is unfortunate.

Nice location but outside very dirty

The exterior of the property was really dirty. We couldn’t use any of the outside furniture as it was full of dirt and cobwebs. The barbecue was not clean. There were dishes left in the dishwasher and one of the towels wasn’t very clean. The spa did not heat up for us until the very last day either. Location was great. House needs a little TLC

This review took us by surprise as I checked on the guests and per our contract we encourage Our guests to let us know if they have concerns we can addyupon arrival. The guest send a message every thing was wonderful and than this review. We would have address any concise might have had if she communicated with us as we strive to provide 5 star listing

Enchanting chalet with stunning views

House was set up on a hill with sweeping vistas and flowering plants all over the deck and lawn. The home was pleasant and comfortable with a nice layout and attractive furnishings. We loved the winery just down the road called Lorenzi-had a fantastic tasting in a gorgeous patio surrounded by flowers. We had very little communication from the owner and had to reach out for check-in instructions-I assume she was just busy. Also, the documentation refers to use of a washer and dryer which were not in the premises. Fortunately it was not an issue for us. Overall we had a nice experience and with a few minor enhancements it would be outstanding.

Rustic at it's best

The property was okay but pictures were a bit deceiving. I have stayed at several VRBO properties in the past years and have felt that the price of the property rental was of good value. This property needs a bit of TLC. The shower door in the master bath doesn't close properly and the lack of washcloths enough for 4 people is not sufficient. The bed in the 2nd bedroom is a queen bed on a King size frame leaving at least 6 inches of wood frame showing. Hazard for guests. We had all meals out so didn't use the stove or dishwasher.. The owner was very friendly and helpful getting back with me in a timely manner. In all my years renting properties I have never been so disappointed. Paid over $1550.00 for 2 nights stay. Wonder if my $90.00 insurance will cover some of my costs 🤔

Thank you for your review. As we have mentioned in our rental agreement we encourage our guests to text or call us during their stay with any issues. I was in the ranch twice and checked with your husband if everything was ok and you needed anything and both times were told no that everything was perfect. So this is a bit of surprise. We will look into the shower door and I could have supplied more wash cloth if that is what you needed. As per our bed is indeed a king mattress and the frame is vintage cal king so a little bit of the wood is exposed on the side from the frame no sure how that can be dangerous. I am sorry if you think you did not get your values worth as per our previous guests they were very happy with the home . Thank you for the feedback

The scorpion did it for me (read the fine print!)

The host sent the guest responsibilities “contract” through the app the night before our arrival. Make sure you read this. In the contract the host notes that you may have an “occasional bug” in the house. As we were getting in to bed the first night of our stay, we discovered a scorpion, several spiders and a cockroach all in the master bedroom. We alerted the host right away and let her know that we would be sleeping in a hotel for the rest of the trip as we felt uncomfortable sleeping in the house. The host was unapologetic about the issue and denied our refund request, even after we sent pictures. She stated that in the “contract” we agree that we coexist with nature. The house was cute, but unless you are comfortable with sleeping with multiple insects in your bedroom, I would not recommend this house.

This is because we work very hard to make sure the outside grounds and inside of the house are as clean as possible , visually appealing, well stocked , comfortable and safe. If we can’t achieve the highest review of 5 stars we would rather not be in the business. With this said we would like to address the guest that gave us 1 star The great challenge is that guests can post anything they want and we can only reply. For the most part our reviews and suggestions have been written with care and truthfulness . Sometimes like in this instance it just doesn’t fit with the rest of our reviews. We know that everything will not go right 100% of the time. And most have commented that when something was needed we we responded immediately and resolved the issue and often included that in the review In this instance the guest mentioned that they had a collection of bugs in the house. And that after they alerted us to the fact they then stated that we didn’t respond and were leaving . Again it is not the way we do things and doesn’t fit the pattern of the other reviews that we have received. We responded promptly but got no response . Perhaps they were outside rounding up more bug candidates for the nature photo shoot inside. Part of our cleaning process between guests is that the house gets treated each and every time as we from experience know there is more activity this time of year. The guests never left , never responded and 2 days later they were still there and left about checkout time. In the end most of our guests say they had such a wonderful relaxing visit and can’t wait to return. This is what makes it all worthwhile for us. The best we can do is our best with each and every guest.
