Absolutely the best kept secret in Kihei! This conveniently located "beach" themed remodeled 2 bedroom/ 2 bath unit on the 2nd floor, located in the heart of South Maui starts your vacation on the right foot!

With a fully equipped modernized kitchen you will find all the amenities you need to cook a complete meal for the entire family.This quaint and relaxing living room with a queen pull out sofa bed is perfect for cozy evenings indoors.The spacious lanai that overlooks the park and complex pool makes it great for watching family members without getting wet! Enjoy a nice cup of coffee while watching the morning ocean tide, or spend an evenings taking in the most picturesque sunsets. Some just love the lanai doors open for that perfect Hawaiian breeze to flow throughout. Others will appreciate the ductless AC in both bedrooms and the living area.

The primary bedroom has a new in 2021 King size bed, an en suite bathroom with a standup shower, a small refrigerator, microwave and a private entrance. While the guest room features queen bed to sleep 2 comfortably and a neighboring bathroom. There is a desk if need be for anyone wanting to mix work with pleasure. Rest assured you will appreciate all that this exquisite condo has to offer, from the comfort and relaxation to the decor!

Adjacent this boutique complex is a well-known family beach park offering tennis courts, basketball, beach volleyball, a skatepark and an outdoor skating ring! When you don't feel like driving, take an evening stroll to shops, restaurants, and popular night clubs all within minutes. Oh and lets not forget the surf and paddle board school located right next door! You will definitely leave the island feeling relaxed, accomplished, and pleased at Island Surf 200!

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.Other things to notePlease note: Upon confirming your reservation, we will request your personal email address. A company specific rental agreement will be emailed to the provided address. Once we have received your completed rental agreement, detailed arrival instructions will be emailed to you one week prior to your stay.

Please note there will be construction noise from April 17th to 28th, 2023 due to sewer manhole installation and spalling repairs. We apologize for any inconvenience and are available to answer any questions.

Great Location!

This property is in a great location. Central to everything…we were able to drive to all parts of the island in under an hour. There are many shops, restaurants, and the beach all within walking distance. The property was clean and easy to access.

Went to Maui for My retirement vacation trip with my husband, sister and her husband. Beautiful views from lanai. Easy access To beaches, and restaurants, quite environment and easy access to other sights.

Great location, nice place

This is a great stretch of Kihei, able to walk to dinner every night, and the 4yo was able to get shave ice twice a day! The unit is very nice, good stock of kitchen stuff, showers are decent. It's very nice to be next door to the pool, made it very easy to dip in & out.

Spacious and a great location

Overall, our stay was great! Very central location, a spacious layout, big bathrooms, A/C, and comfy beds. Cons are that the property wasn’t the cleanest upon arrival (the showers looked like they were barely cleaned) and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work well in the rooms as others have mentioned. That being said, would stay here again!

Comfortable and Accessible

We had a wonderful stay in Kihei, and this condo worked great for our family with 2 teenage boys, providing much more space for downtime than we'd get in a hotel. All the functional amenities within the condo were good, communication was prompt, and check-out was not over-whelming. The location is great for being around a more local crowd, and walking to a variety of restaurants, shops, and beaches. It's of note that the park directly across from the condo is a nice big park, but not a big beach. We generally walked or drove to other beaches that could accommodate more than a couple groups.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a great time in the apartment. I wish there was AC in the indiivdual rooms as it did get a bit hot at night (stayed in early March). Also, the blinds in the bedrooms could use some work as they were both facing public areas with heavy foot traffic. I also had noise problems with roosters, but I can't blame that on the airbnb.

Great Location and price

We had a great stay while in Kihei... Positives: GREAT LOCATION- it was awesome getting up every morning and walking in the park and getting coffee from the food trucks. Unit was clean and equipped well. Check in and out was easy with no issues. We did ask to check in early as we were already on island staying in a different unit and they did not accommodate. Also we had two issue that were taken care of very quickly... 1. The shower head was not working, it gave just a trickle of water... called and they replaced immediately. 2. Fire detector started beeping in the middle of the night. We took it down to make it till morning but called first thing and again maintenance came immediately to change the batteries. Negatives: Some of the stuff in the unit is outdated and there isn't enough hot water for 4 people to shower. The big question is the building itself... there are added support beams EVERYWHERE. In all the downstairs stores, and all the hallways leading to units. Make you question the safety of the structure and why all these supports have been added. I would stay here again if it were just me and my partner. Probably not with friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of two couples booked this unit for a week in Maui and overall, it was a fantastic experience! As soon as we entered the unit, it felt inviting and clean. Each couple had their own bed and bathroom with enough space to cook and hangout together. The location along on Kihei Road is easy to walk to shops, food trucks, beaches, or access the highway with a car. It felt very comfortable to return to at the end of a long day of activities, and the afternoon sunsets were amazing! Being close to the action, the unit does experience road noise if the windows are open, and the master bedroom is prone to sounds from the parking lot even with the louvered windows closed. The wi-fi was intermittent inside the bedrooms but works fine in the living room/kitchen/lanai. Communication from the management company was organized and clear throughout the whole process which made booking and check-in/check-out very easy.This unit really helped make our trip comfortable and memorable and we would book it again.

Clean with AC in all rooms

Very clean, basic bathroom and kitchen supplies with a cute welcome package/goodies provided, washer/ dryer inside the apartment. Big plus for our group was ac units in both bedrooms and living room. Location was convenient and walking distance to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. They also provided beach towels, and beach chairs which was great. Overall our group enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Perfect family spot close to everything in Kihei

Reviewer Comments: Wanted to stay close to the beach in Kihei for energy of the community, proximity to beginner surfing, food options, etc. Island Surf 200 was perfect for what we were looking for, and even better than we expected. The living space was spacious and well taken care of. The upgraded A/C system with a unit in each room made our stay even more enjoyable, even in the cooler April weather. Probably a must in the summer months. We did miss having a large pool like at resorts we've stayed at in the past, but the pool was always clean and great for a quick dip, and right outside the lanai to keep an eye on the kids from the condo. This is the closest unit to the pool, and outdoor grills, but we were never disturbed by anyone else using them. Great to have a shave ice shack, food trucks, surfboard lessons/rentals, and the cove beach park literally just steps away, plus the view of the ocean out the lanai. Having 2 full size bathrooms was the best with a family of 5, everything was modern, fresh and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, silverware, toaster and toaster oven, blenders, etc. We loved the energy of the street with all the people walking around and locals using the park for their daily beach volleyball, surfing, and skatepark activities. A great vibe. Street noise could be a little loud, but a good kind of noise, but since the sun sets pretty early, it felt pretty quiet after 7:30. (except for a very vocal rooster in the lot behind the building that wanted to start the day at 3:00 am each morning, but hey, that's Hawaii for you:)We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
