Convenient location on the edge of Waikiki within walking distance to Ala Moana Beach Park, Ala Moana Shopping Center, Waikiki restaurants/bars/nightlife, and much more!
Unit 3406 is Separated into two studios A & B. Your stay unit is studio A
Studio A is Fully furnished with 2 full sized beds, table & chairs, A/C, TV, microwave, oven range, pots & pans, utensils, linens, towels, chest of drawers, and shower with bathtub. WiFi if free!
Amenities include pool, patio/deck, golf putting green, BBQ area, community laundry, concierge, on-site restaurant - all in a secured building.
Depending on availability, Studios A and B can be booked together to enjoyed with family and friends.

Parking is available for $50 a day and can be purchased upon arrival.

Room with a view

The view is amazing! It was easy to check in and their is a food truck area right across the street with fantastic food. The beach is within a 10 minute walk. A little smaller than it looks in the pictures but perfect for us because we only slept there.

Nice place

Communication was great and check in was easy. We loved the place but we’re here for a tennis tournament. So we needed tennis courts so we had to change locations. If it weren’t for that we would have stayed. Host refunded us. I would stay here again if I visit.

The overall experience was great and met our needs! Loved having a kitchenette that we could cook all our favorite meals and had all needed kitchenware! Beds were super comfortable and the view from the room was absolutely spectacular!! Mahalo!

Short stay

The key cards were easily accessed in the lower lobby. Like others have stated the room is in need of updates. The only complaints would be there were not enough towels for our family, the water pressure was not good, and the clothes iron was not in working order.

Having never been in Ha, it was all new for us. We liked the mcCully center nearby with all the food options. Yes it is walkable and so it ala moanna shopping center, but we had a car so we never walked.

I lived for ten days at Kaina Hale Hawaii Realty in Honolulu.

My wife, Suélia, my son Mário — who is going to study at Boston University — and my daughter Marie Odile, who celebrated her 15th birthday and attends Ithaca High School in NY, were my companions.We spent a dream summer in Honolulu. We stayed in a comfortable place for 10 days. The bathroom was functional, the air conditioning was refreshingly cold, the kitchen was practical, and the beds were comfortable and clean. The elevators were modern, and the location was very safe. The locks and security features were perfect — and the view from the apartment, what a dream...The reception staff and the lobby with its little shops were also excellent. The receptionist kindly printed our boarding passes for the return flight.I already miss it, and part of my heart is still at Waikiki Beach. A magical place.Kaina Hale Hawaii made a Brazilian family living in Ithaca, NY, very happy — especially Marie Odile, who celebrated her 15th birthday there.Thank you for everything — keep up the great work!

Rent from the actual hotel not here

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly irritated after finding out that if I would have booked through the actual hotel it would have been hundreds cheaper, we would have updated rooms without smelly carpet and mushy drywall in the bathroom and room service. If you decide to go with this place, make sure to pack garbage bags, if you just need 1 more then the 2 in the room it's $9. Parking isn't $30 as stated, it's $45 a night..The one thing this place does have is great views but so do the others.

We like the kitchen and bathroom. It is clean and functional. The email is clear enough to do self-check-in and self-check-out. The pool and jacuzzi are located in 6th floor and they are amazing. The building is old, but the room is clean. We were living in 34th floor and was able to see beautiful city spectacular view and able to see the sea. The room is smaller than the picture, and the window curtains are so BROKE, they are easy to fall off and no reinstallation. Everyday the sunshine woke us up very early like 7am, can't rest well. If the curtain is like that next time, I won't choose this property again.

The room was not very updated or maintained. There were not enough towels for our group of four people. It was hard to get a response since the office hours were not open over the weekend. We did see some small ants in the kitchen area. Overall the studio felt dirty and in need of some care. The redeeming quality was that it did have a great view of the city with huge windows. There was also a nice coffee shop in the bottom floor of the building and was walkable to other food options

The place was nice, just like what shown the photos. The owner has instructions written everywhere (like to be gentle with the blinds and what temperature to set the stove on). So I get it, they want us to keep the place in good condition. I feel a bit annoyed because for all the restrictions, there aren't much amenities. For example, I needed a bit of salt to gargle (because my gums hurt) and there wasn't any salt left in the little jar. We ate out most of the time, but there was one time I had a piece of left over fried chicken and there wasn't any aluminum foil for me to heat up in the oven the next day.

Go on the actual monarch hotel webpage and rent a room. Its all of the same amenities and same rooms (but way more updated) for hundreds less. And if you need something, the hotel can actually help you. This room on here is through a realtor company and not the hotel. So if you need anything like a trash bag after the 2 they give you, you have to go buy a whole roll from the store below for $9. The room smelt really musty. Maybe because it still has carpet while the rooms are tiled. Or soggy gross walls in the bathroom. Also pay attention to the bathroom mirror. It has a cut out in the middle of the mirror, with a mirror chunk replacing it. The big mirror part has a gap like it should when you touch it with your finger. The weird cut out part has no space between reflection.

The property is in need of a lot of updating and repairs. The carpet is pretty nasty and either needs to be removed or deep cleaned. There were several damages to the bathroom dealing with holes covered with masking tape and duct tape on the mirror. Paint chipping from humidity and since there are no baseboards there is a lot of cracks and drywall dust along the wall to floor edges. There are tons of homeless people around the property. There was also no key available when I checked in. Thankfully I check in in the early evening instead of the middle of the night as there was someone available to call and bring over a key. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to bring a key which was annoying because we had groceries in the car and were tired after a long flight but she was very nice and courteous when she brought a key card for us and escorted us to our room to make sure we got in ok. There is a nice view of the mountains and it’s in walking distance to a nice lagoon at the Hilton. The parking people were super rude. They only accept cash to park in the garage but the ATM on the premises only gives out small amounts for a large fee so make sure to go by the bank first if you plan to use their parking garage. And make sure you don’t go over the time stamp on your parking pass or they will charge you extra. You get what you pay for is what it really comes down to and I wouldn’t mind paying more to have a better experience somewhere else next time.

Wouldn’t stay here again

This property is so-so only when considering the price per person when splitting the price between 4 people. It’s an older building and you can feel it for sure. The carpet felt and looked old and dirty. The room and furniture itself is old and the room looks better in the pictures than in person. The room felt small for 4 people. I do have to say that overall the kitchen and bathroom were clean. I also like that there was a laundromat in the building. There is a good coffee shop in the building as well. The location overall is good and provides easy access to many locations. In regards to communication, I got in on Dec. 25th and had been messaging the managers since 10AM since i hadn’t received check in instructions. I sent multiple messages and no one responded to me until 9PM. I was already stressing out and trying to book another hotel as i thought that we weren’t going to be able to have anywhere to sleep. Once they called me they said they had emailed me check-in instructions. I have never received check-in instructions other than in vrbo messaging in any of the locations i’ve booked on vrbo, so of course i never would have thought to check my email. It’s still unprofessional to me that they didn’t respond to my multiple messages for over 11 hours on the day of check in nor did they ever tell me i needed to check my email for instructions prior to their call at 9PM. It was nerve racking thinking we were going to need to pay for a full new hotel the day we got in to Honolulu during the holiday season. It believe there are better places around this price range that are more updated but if this is your only option, be prepared for what you’re walking into. In the future, for myself, i would rather pay a bit more to feel more comfortable during my stay.

We walked to the beach, shops and restaurants. I was a little disappointed on how the room looked outdated a bit. But that being said we did enjoy our time there. The room had two beds, full kitchen and pretty much all the utensils.

The owners were there and got mer a key and had the place cleaned up. the previuos rents had mess up the blinds and closet door and afew stains, but the place worked great for us. Worst VRBO Experience of My Life

Upon checking into this condo, we were immediately hit with how dingy and unkept the whole building was. We had hopes that the room would at least meet the expectations we had from the online images but this was not the case at all. The online images were completely misleading to what this room actually is in person. All of the furniture is old and not taken care of. There we tons of scratches and marks on the walls, peeling paint, duct tape over holes., the list goes on. There we multiple bugs (ants, fruit flies, etc.) The online images displayed are quite obviously photoshopped to make this place looks MUCH better so you will be tricked into wasting your money. DON’T!!! The rental company who manages this property is also the absolute worst management I have ever seen. The “manager” proceeded to yell at me the entire call after requesting a refund because we were so uncomfortable we could not stay at the property. I also asked to speak to the owner directly and she would no oblige saying she didn’t know if he would answer. After all of the yelling, I was told “I’ll call you back” and she hung up. I have still yet to receive a call back. I am still in the process of getting this resolved. Do not, I repeat DO NOT book this condo unless you are looking for the quality of a run down motel.
