Pontos positivos: Limpeza
Pontos negativos: Check-in
The check in process was a bit confusing. I got several emails and text messages saying my information was not verified. When it had been completed. The cabin was clean. And close to the downtown area. However, the bed was pretty bad. Also make sure you bring extra extension cords as there are very few outlets in the cabin.

Great little cabin with everything you need. We had a peaceful weekend getaway for two.

First time renting something like this online. It took one of our kids to help seal the deal. After doing it once we are more comfortable doing it next time.

Weekend in Idyllwild

We had a nice time visiting Idyllwild. Cabin was nice warm and cozy. Heater worked great and was definitely close to center of town. Made easy to walk back and forth into town. Definitely would recommend. Slight negative is the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. Other than that nice place.

Hi Elaina, Thank you for your review! Vrbo does charge a lot of extra fees, as does ABNB. It's always best to book with us direct! We are very sorry about the empty wine bottle that was left behind. If you decide to book with us again, we will definitely leave a full wine bottle for you to enjoy :) -Raquel, New Spirit Vacation Homes

Pontos positivos: Check-in, comunicação e localização
We enjoyed our stay, the location was all within walking distance for things to do and places to eat. Wonderful location.I will say the pictures should be updated to what the cabin decor is like now as the pictures have different furniture TV unit dining table and bedding etc. The bathroom looked newly updated and very clean as was the refrigerator and stove. It would have been nice to have had a table cloth for the table on the deck as it was dirty due to the elements around but to eat there we had to lay a towel on the table. There were also many rocks on the path leading up to the steps that could have been swept out of the way so I kicked them aside so as not to stumble, had I found a broom I would have happily swept the porch. My husband was not happy with the windows, not being clean, they were dirty and he left a note on each one, its easy to go unnoticed if the drapes are pulled but you would think when the cleaning crew go in they would pull them open and see the dog nose and finger prints. We were thankful for the location the fresh pine air and the entertainment of the squirrels and birds. We can say that a battery went out in a smoke detector that was beeping and the Management staff was called and they came out quickly with a new battery. it still continued to beep not sure why so we unplugged it. This is a lovely getaway for a couple to spend a few days. We were fortunate to book last minute as well and found this sweet cabin.Thank you Tuckett Inn.

Usually great, this time disappointing.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were here last year and loved it. This time the tv did not work. We are tennis fans and wanted to watch the US Tennis Open. The TV did not work. We reported it and a man was sent to fix it. We sat for hours with him, but he was unable to make it work. So disappointed, left a day early.

Wonderful Spot/Great Vibe

This was a sweet little gem of a cabin in the best location in Idyllwild. We were centrally located, but the trees afforded the kind of privacy you look for when escaping to the mountains. The accommodations were great. We seemed to have a few problems with light switches and electrical outlets and the heater seemingly turning on randomly, but nothing that our very generous host wasn’t able to help with on an 8:30 pm phone call on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. It was a great get-away.

Quaint Cabin Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin has an old fashioned country charm. From the wooden animal (beaver?) holding a welcome sign to the apple themed kitchen. Everything was clean and warm for the chilly nights. There are light blocking curtains to sleep in as long as you like but once you open the curtains the light comes pouring in and if you like natural light like I do-then you’re sure to appreciate that. It’s a 5min walking distance from town. I would definitely stay here again.

Cheap and Tiny

The cottage was clean. But it did not look like the picture. The bedspread was a drab taupe and the couch was covered with a taupe protector, not the nice flower tapestry. The bed, instead of having a real box spring, had slabs of thick, un-sanded , unfinished plywood that protruded out from under the mattress. Coming back to bed at night after using the bathroom, we both scratched our leg against the sharp edge of the unfinished plywood. Very uncomfortable bed. The cottage does NOT have a fireplace, although I received instructions on buying wood. We brought wood with us but the "fireplace" as an electric contraption that had a screen with the image of a "fire". Lastly, the bathroom was ridiculously small. I can tell they upgraded it, with new toilet and sink, but instead of tearing down the cumbersome and unnecessary huge built-in cabinet, they left that and kept a shower that has no more than 18" entrance, with a space inside of less than 24" x 24". The water pressure was fantastic, but to wash our hair, we had to bend from the neck. No room to bend from the waist, because your butt hits the wall! Most American people, slightly overweight, or even just tall, would not "fit" in that shower at all. We are not large, but it was very difficult to maneuver soap, shampoo and rinsing off in such tiny space. The kitchen was well equipped and the deck was pleasant. But because the bed was so uncomfortable and the tiny shower, we left a day early. Could not stay another night like that, not really sleeping well. To the owners: Try putting in a hotel quality bed and linens, and tear down that shower where you have room for at least a proper 3' x 3' shower your guests can actually enjoy.
