Alerio is the newest condominium in Miramar Beach, located directly across the street from the sandy white beach. With on-site amenities that include gated entry, a sparkling blue swimming pool and hot tub, a grill area. The entire family will enjoy a memorable beach vacation! Wide paved sidewalks provide an easy walkway to the beach access just across the street. The area's best boutique and outlet shopping is just around the corner along with a wide variety of restaurants and eateries. Boating, fishing, water parks, golfing, night life and entertainment are all nearby.

Freshly furnished in chic coastal style, this beach vacation condo is both comfortable and stylish. The living area is furnished with cushy seating and an HDTV. The gourmet kitchen is complete with Amana stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal for everyone. There is seating at the dining table for six, and additional barstool seating. The unit sleeps 8 guests. Resort and community views from the balcony invite you to relax and sit awhile.

The master suite offers a king bed, generous closet space, and leads to the master bath which is nicely appointed with a double sink granite vanity, soaking tub, and separate tiled shower. The guest bedroom has a king bed, and the bunk room offers a full over full bunk bed. All bedrooms have HDTVs. For your convenience there is a stackable washer/dryer, and wifi is complimentary.

***There is only ONE parking pass allowed per unit - complex management rules, no exceptions. Close-by, off-site pay to park is available at Geronimo RV Park of Miramar Beach (0.4 mile). Guests will need to contact GRVP for their availability and pricing.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

NOTE: The total reservation cost includes the nightly rate, clean fee, damage waiver, transportation fee (for select properties), processing fee and tax. By requesting a quote for this property, you agree to be added to our email subscription list.

Not as advertised

Not a good experience, for a 3/2 bath for 8 people, only one parking space. My other family had to pay 30 dollars a day for each vehicle we had extra. One set of extra linens and one blanket. We requested towels, they never return back, we had 6 washcloths and towels for 4 days, we went a brought addtional to use. Sleeping accommodations did not add up to 8.Washer and dryer did not clean nor dry clothes without at least 3 attempts and the hot water is virtually non existent. We were steps from the beach and kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook.Based on the above, i could not recommend someone stay here.

Pleasantly surprised

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband booked this rental very last minute for a weekend trip. After i read the reviews, I was very concerned about this accommodation- I’m picky and don’t do dirty well. Ha. Well I’m here to tell you.... We found the condo very clean and all the issues mentioned in previous reviews have been resolved including new living room furniture. The beds were clean and comfy .. the AC works well and I loved the big tub in master bathroom. The beach access was directly across the street, the beach was not crowded in that area, and we enjoyed the surf hut restaurant that was within walking distance. So glad my fears were unfounded and I had to apologize for my fussing after we arrived.

Great rental at great location, in need of a little TLC

Overall we had a fabulous time in this lovely beach condo and would likely rent again. The location of your One parking space, the pool and the beach access are incredible! The condo has all the household necessities one needs, is comfortable and decorated well! Communication with management is without complaint. However, I wish we didn't have the need to contact management. To piggy back off of the previous reviewer - the outlet in the bunk room still has black residue on the outlet cover indicating an electrical issue. The 2nd bath and bed linens in the bunk room were definitely not cleaned: dirt, sand and unwashed stains. We also noticed the 2 decorative pillows with gross stains on them on the sofa. And I agree that the tv cords should be hidden. The shower from the condo above was leaking water through the fan vent into the master bath. All issues were mentioned to management. A working vacuum or a dustpan would be helpful to keep any sand under control especially for longer stays. The RV lot for additional parking was convenient and friendly.

Cute condo in need of repair

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in Miramar Beach with close proximity to beach and pool just outside our door. Plenty of room for 6 adults. The condo is in need of some TLC/repairs. Before arrival, received a call from management stating the air conditioner wasn't working and repair service was currently working to fix AC which meant we would need to be moved to different unit. A short time later received call from mgmt saying AC was fixed and would be staying in the originally booked unit. They were very good at keeping me informed of situation. One of the gals in our group had arrived while the repair service was working on AC and noted an outlet in the bunk bedroom appeared to have black residue on it (possible electrical short) which was reported to mgmt and assessed by repair service stating outlet was ok to use. The front bathroom can use a good painting and wall repair. The towel rack across from toilet/left wall had been pulled off leaving several holes in wall and replaced on wall with left end higher than right end. The towel rack above toilet was oddly placed at shower curtain level. I. Six feet tall and most average people would be challenged to place towel on rack. Hand towel rack was loose on wall. The towel racks were all different styles. It's as if they just grabbed what was available at the time of repair. The cabinetry was a bit banged up with loose doors. Additional hook on back of door would be nice to hang clothes. Door stop did not have a rubber tip. Front bedroom had a stain on comforter upon our arrival. Makes me wander whether it had been laundered. Picture above bed was not securely anchored, so always hung crooked. Door rubbing on floor most likely due to water damage from wet suits. Needs planing to shave off bottom. Bedrooms could use 2 extra pillows. Each bedroom could use a full view mirror on wall or back of door. All TV wires need to be hidden using wall track. Found 2 pillows in coffee table that were unwashed with stains. Additional lights living

Great location…maintenance and upgrades needed

We had great access to the beach. Busy but great location. I would recommend staying here if the upkeep was better The below items were suggestions I left for the management company but only as suggestions to make it a better “feel good” stay. Paying over $3000 for a week should include a stress free environment. 1. Mop the floors so sand is not left for the new tenant. When we arrived it was very sandy everywhere. Even on our sheets 2. The rug in the living room has a whole layer of sand under it 3. The toilet paper holder does not have the role holder in the master bath 4. Towel rack in small bathroom is not affixed to the wall. Needs repaired 5. Several chipped dishes and one (plate) was broken. 6. Dishwasher did not clean the dishes. I had to hand wash all of them all week 7. Ice falls out of freezer randomly and the refrigerator leaks 8. Dead bugs were left on floor when we checked in. We swept them up 9. Couch is in horrible shape. Needs replaced or cushions repadded. Also, there are no linens for the pull out bed. 10. I would suggest stocking throw blankets and extra pillows/sheets for your guests. 11. Remote controls were dead (we bought batteries) and backs to a couple remotes are missing. 12. The bunk beds need replaced. They are in awful shape and the mattresses for them are terrible!! 13. Dryer vents need to be cleaned out. It took 4 cycles for towels to dry and 3 for bathing suits. Could be a fire hazard soon

July 2023 Stay

This was our second time staying at the Alerio. This was quite different from our first time staying there. There were roaches everywhere inside and we had to buy bug spray to spray the unit. I did notify them and they sent someone over to spray but it didn’t do any good. The unit was also dirty. We found crumbs on the nightstand and empty liquor bottles behind the chair in the master bedroom. The linen on the beds didn’t look good either and the sofa bed needs to be replaced. It was difficult to let out and appears to be broken or on its way. The location is good which is why we chose it again but this unit was not the same one we stayed in the first time.

June 2023 Stay

Stay good. Issues with arrival. Did not get complete instructions to get into the condo. We did receive help getting in within an hour. Major issue with bugs. Did send an exterminator but issue was so bad it really did not help. Bug hotels set throughout the condo. For the money spent during the 4th. Expected better.

Would not recommend staying here

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived there was sand on the floor and there were now towels in the bathroom. That’s because we found all of the towels soaking wet still in the dryer. I realized later this was because the dryer did not work. It took two days to dry the towels to use. The fridge was leaking and the furnace in the guest room was also leaking. Maintenance came out, but couldn’t do anything about it, my kids had a hard time sleeping because the furnace in the guest room was so loud and throwing off so much heat. The bunkbed in the guest room could definitely be replaced, it was old and shaky. There was nothing in the kitchen. Luckily, I had brought some pans from home, but they were only three plates and a couple of cups. We asked to be refunded some money for cleaning since the condo wasn’t clean, but never received a refund.

Weekend stay

My group arrived Thursday-Sunday , it was a great area but didn’t come with a lot. We ran out of toilet paper and trash bags. The last day before we left me and another friend noticed bug bites all over our legs. I went to the doctor and they told me it was bed bugs. I notified the rental company and they got everything inspected and said they had no bed bugs … 2 weeks after my stay. I have pictures of my legs and had to get steroid cream from a doctor. I feel they didn’t take this seriously and took way too long to get any inspections done . I don’t want this to happen to anyone else . I also did not receive any compensation for the inconvenience and doctor bill .

October 2022 Stay

We booked this location for 8 nights, so we actually still have 4 more nights here. The size and layout has been great, overall has been enjoyable, the distance and access to the beach is great. There are a few things I’ve noticed though. The floor had sand all over it upon arrival (felt it as we walked around), dryer takes 2-3 times to dry even a small load, the cabinets to the right of the microwave is not secured to the wall (literally almost fell off when looking for a dish), and the bunk bed is wobbly, held together with poor screws.

Good but needs some fixing

The location is awesome Short walk to the beach and great pool hot tub on property We were very surprised to find beach chairs and sand toys in utility room unfortunately most chairs are broken but we used a few anyways instead of purchasing more and left our $20 Walmart umbrella for next persons Only two pillows per bed so if you need more bring them Only about six shower towels and a few hand and wash cloths so bring what you need Front door back door and bunkhouse room doors all swollen and a hastle to close First bath broken shower rod and hand towel holder loose front bedroom doesn’t have handles on dresser Bunk bed is incredibly poor shape with lots of try to fix it from being broken every where and not very good mattresses on bunks or master Master bed felt like a trampoline no oven mitts for oven very limited pots pans and no oven tray only one hand towel and dish cloth The back patio overlooks a vacant lot and a view of Alvin’s The smoke detector in master was chirping from minute we arrived but property group maintenance guy responded within the hour of us having enough and calling The parking spot for this unit is first spot and within 15 feet of property wash hose for the beach sand and to get to your car you will likely be in a nasty puddle all day Property needs to install a better drain The housekeeping fee is an obvious joke as we arrived the floor is covered in sand and the vacuum was plugged and took me ten minutes to clear and vacuum baby diapers under and behind front bedroom headboard urine marks on bedding were gross so tried washing and a spatula under that dresser master tub was dirty to the point of not trying to clean to use And the check in process we didn’t understand as there was a 4-6 window that there was no one at property to assist or direct anyways so not sure why couldn’t be a bigger window with the definite lack of housekeeping Several negatives that could easily be fixed and make this a five star and we would go back but knowing what is there would definitely bring quite a few things and hope this helps owners and others

Great Stay!!!

Overall, everything was great! The pool was still freezing but that didn't stop th kids from swimming. The hot tub was very crowded and the splash pad was never turned on. Other than that it was great!

Spacious clean apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is one of the best apartments we stayed at. Super spacious and clean. Nicely decorated and furnished. Just across the street from the beach. The only thing that bothered us a lot was the noises from upstairs, you could literally hear every step or talk from the people upstairs, very annoying especially if there are kids running upstairs. And the other thing is that the apartment is only equipped with 2 days supplies like one toilet paper, one hotel shampoo and conditioner etc. No salt, pepper, oil or any cooking stuff, there wasn’t even a scrub sponge for the dishes or trash bags. All this didn’t make our stay less pleasant and I could definitely recommend it! Would stay there again next time we are here.

Great condo

This condo was clean and nice. It was a great location. Parking for this condo was easy to get into and right up front. There was someone always at the gate. We had a wonderful week here!! Will definitely rent again!!

Our first trip to the Destin area

This was my first stay in the panhandle and my first experience booking with vrbo. Overall it was a good experience the booking was quick and easy, the location of the unit was as close to being on the beach as we could get without being on the beach since the access ramp was right across the street, and there were a few shops and restaurants in walking distance which was nice. There were some negative aspects to the stay that should be addressed. The refrigerator in the condo couldn't be turned to the coldest setting which was stated in the instructions that were provided my problem is that with the price we paid for our stay and with how many others stay there it shouldn't be an issue to just go buy another refrigerator that works properly. Second issue is parking if you have a unit that can sleep up to 10 people do you really think that 1 parking spot is enough? Sure there's an overflow lot but it costs $30 per night additional to park there. I feel like the owners need to work out an agreement with the parking lot owner and just include that fee with the stay. And lastly the room was not throughly cleaned at all. The floors were still dirty, there were crumbs on and under the table, something sticky was on the side tables, and the countertops weren't cleaned as well. I'm sure I'll use vrbo again in the future but most likely won't be staying in that property again.
