Villa Eufemia is a spacious three-story villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps 12 people. From Villa Eufemia you will enjoy a fascinating view of the sea and of the gulf of Salerno far in the horizon. Villa Eufemia is 240 square meters (2600 square feet). It features two private terraces, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 3 km (1.9 miles) from the center of Amalfi, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the stop for SITA bus Amalfi - Agerola line at 50 meters (165 feet) and the beach at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) including 400 stairway steps.
You will reach Villa Eufemia from the street level going down a walkway that includes approximately 50 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Eufemia. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, in a garage. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you (availability is limited; if you think you will need parking please inquire before placing your reservation). If necessary, you can park along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

Villa Eufemia is located in a prominent position on a picturesque stretch of rocky coast about 100 meters (about 328 feet) above sea level. It overlooks the sea really close by.


Villa Eufemia is part of a small hamlet of old houses gathered on the top of a promontory, all facing the sea and the sun and also surrounded by typical terraced gardens where lemon trees are cultivated. Here live the inhabitants of Amalfi, with their tranquil lifestyle away from crowds of tourists. The houses are distributed around a tiny old church and connected through stone stairways which descend from the upper part of the coast to the area down below, the beach and the sea.


At least once, if you are in good shape, leave the car and the bus aside and go down towards the sea through this old pathway. It is a walk which will fill with you joy and energy: throughout the whole path you will be embraced by the vivid colors and perfumes of the Mediterranean vegetation and attracted by the enchanting scenery of blue sea right in front of you…


You will have several choices regarding beaches to go to. You can take the bus which stops 50 meters (about 164 feet) away from the house and reach the beach of Amalfi. From there it is also possible to take small boats which take bathers to splendid small inlets along the coast.


One of these inlets, the so-called beach of Santa Croce, is reached even on foot from Villa Eufemia, and the walk is definitely one not to be missed if you feel like climbing down 400 steps dug into the rock overlooking the sea.


To go back up you can get small boats which in only 10 minutes take you on a splendid ride on the sea to the port of Amalfi, where you can take the bus to go back to the house.
Bottom FloorPatio
The patio is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it kitchen. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola and by trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea and of the gulf of Salerno far in the horizon.
Garden
The garden is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It is partly shaded by citrus trees. The garden is equipped with small sofas and armchairs, as well as with sun loungers. From the garden you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi.
Living Room
The living room is paved with handmade tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are elegant and refined, featuring some antique pieces, and include a long L-shaped sofa. From the living room you will be able to enter the alleyway at the rear of the house through a French door. The room has a window with a view of the sea. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through a corridor. It is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate 12 guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the garden.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the corridor.
Middle Level (Entrance Level)Terrace 1
The first terrace is 150 square meters (1615 square feet) large. It is equipped with a small sofa and two armchairs, as well as with tables and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of the sea.
Terrace 2
The second terrace is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the sea and of the gulf of Salerno far in the horizon.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The floor is paved with handmade tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a desk. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television (local channels).
