Gulf views and Intracoastal views - steps to beach. Elevator for easy access.

No damage from hurricane helene. This stilt home has amazing views from the front balcony of the Gulf. While off the back deck you enjoy viewing the mangrove trees and intracoastal waterway. Walk through your own nature reserve to the private dock on the intracoastal.

Our home is pet friendly, but please note there is an additional fee for cleaning up the additional pet hair.

The home has granite counter tops in the kitchen and stainless steel Samsung appliances.

The home has 2 large bedrooms. Master bathroom with queen size bed and a master bathroom with shower. Guest bedroom with 2 full size beds. Main bathroom has a tub/shower. Outdoor shower to rinse off when you get back from the beach.

Large open floor plan living room, dining room and kitchen with cathedral ceilings.

Elevator to easily get up to the living space. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles.

The beach is 200 steps away and you can watch your friends surf from the front deck of the home.

Take a walk through nature as you stroll to the fishing dock on the intracoastal, or launch your own kayak and explore the intracoastal, dolphin watch and bird watch.

We are a short walk to the Green Iguana where you can rent bikes and kayaks.

We had a couple of challenges, but the owner is very responsive to any issues that happen with this property. We have stayed here before, and will definitely stay again. The house is always very clean, it’s a great location, and is very comfortable.

Great Experience!

The stay was wonderful! The home was just amazing. We hope to stay gere in the future. The host was great and shared some great food options which we tried. Just a great overall experience. The.views from the home is worth it and it really is a short walk to the beach.

Stilt house

This was a perfect place to vacation. It was immaculately clean, the furniture and bedding were comfortable. It had an amazing view of the gulf which was just steps away. Highly recommend Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Place to stay

The stilt house is in the perfect location with spectacular views of the gulf and waterway. It is well equipped to made our stay comfortable and relaxing. It was very clean and the elevator was a bonus. It is close to several restaurants. We are very pleased with stay here and would recommend it to others.

Winter vacation 2025 & visit with grandkids

The stilt house is an amazing property to rent for a vacation. It is clean and has everything you can possibly need for a visit. The view of the gulf is beautiful & just across the street so if you want to catch an amazing sunset. The private mangrove behind the house overlooks the bay and was our favorite place for mornings. Karen is always available if you need anything . We’ll definitely be back to stay there.

Indian Shores Gem

Perfect location with beautiful views of the sunrises over the intercoastal and sunsets over the Gulf and all of the amenities needed for fun in the sun! The host was very prompt answering questions and was very helpful by providing additional information to make my stay more enjoyable. I will definitely stay here again!

Great stay!

The stilt house is located in a perfect spot. Beach access was less than half a block and across the street….perfect! The house was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed and more The house is very dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing Location

The stilt house is a wonderful place to stay. The owner provided everything we needed to have a wonderful beach vacation.... even a wagon to transport it all to the beach. It's in a perfect location with great views. It's far enough away from the city to be peaceful but close enough to grocery stores, shopping, great restaurants, and fun activities. Karen was very patient with us as first time VRBO users and made everything easy. I would definitely recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed!!!

Great Sister Trip at the Stilt House

We are 4 sisters from PA, GA, and FL that stayed at the Stilt House for 8 days. The house was amazing, the Sunset and Sunrise views from the house were spectacular! The short walk to the beach was great! We enjoyed several local restaurants, the Sugarsand Festival in Clearwater, the Seaside Bird Sanctuary, and John's Pass Boardwalk. Loved the convenience of the elevator and the private dock was great! We will definitely be back!!!!

Amazing house!

This was the best place we have stayed in Indian Shores! Karen was so great and accommodating. The views front and back were incredible. House was clean and just as seen in pics. Loved the beach chairs and toys available. Everything we needed was there for us. We will be coming back to this amazing property. So sad to leave!!

Great plAce

We loved the water views. Awesome to sit on the deck and watch the sunset. Loved the easy beach access. Walked to DJ’s Clam Shack (as seen on Diners, Drive ins and Dives). Very comfortable stay.

Wonderful vacation property

The property is everything as advertised and more. Easy access to two pieces of paradise - the long stretch of sandy beach out the front, as well as a private dock on the inter-coastal waterway out the back. Everything is provided for a relaxing vacation. We really appreciated the top notch kitchen supplies, from quality cookware, dishes and cutlery, to the slow cooker. The home is very clean, and well laid for two couples, with a clear separation in sleeping areas. We also appreciated the quality furniture and TVs, and the internet worked flawlessly. The elevator is awesome for moving luggage, as well as for those guests with mobility challenges. The host provides prompt and courteous communication.

Great location and great views

We had a lovely week at Stilt House! The house was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, easy access to the beach, and ocean/sunset views from the porch. We’d love to stay again!

Enjoyable Stay

Our family had a relaxing and enjoyable stay here. The house was nice and had a good view of the ocean and the waterway in the back. We were able to see manatee at the dock as well as go fishing. The elevator was a big help. The walk to the beach was very manageable and not very far. The sunsets were amazing! Dogs are not allowed on the beach here or in many other places in this area. There are some designated dog areas but we just stayed on the property or took walks down the street. But overall a good experience.

Great Place!

This was one of the best places we have stayed. Clean, updated, and great location. It reminded us of our home. Very open and spacious. Even though there were 3 of us, you could have 4-5 and not feel on top of each other. The only downside was a place to walk our dogs too but they adjusted well and brought them home when I left. We will definitely look again for this in the future. Great communication between the owner once I got there. Didn’t need much guidance after that. Everyone was friendly and helpful at the beach too. Beach was in great shape, beautiful sunsets, sand dollars, and shark teeth. Great local places to eat and convenient to grocery. Nice dock out back to fish.

Wow! What a great property!

This place is beautiful. The views of the intercostal and the ocean are beautiful. The place was spotless when we got there. Lots of great beach items and bicycles. Lots of kitchen items, great linens and comfy beds. The elevator was a godsend when we carried in the groceries and luggage. You don’t see too many beach homes with an elevator. Also, the beach is soooooo close. We enjoyed the short walk as it made going back to the house for something we forgot that much easier. There is an adorable cottage in front of this house. If you need more room, rent that out to accommodate more family/guests. We looked in, don’t worry, Karen told us we could. It is perfect for a small group. One note: the pictures do not do this place justice. The views are great!
