Valley View in the Upper Valley

Occupying two lots on Monte Vista Estates in the Red River Upper Valley area, our Valley View home can host up to 12 guests in 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Valley View has plenty of space both inside and out. Admire expansive views along with your morning cup o’ joe while occupying the seat of your choice on the sizable covered/uncovered deck. Enjoy the Wildlife as they roam around the property. 4x4 is often required during the winter months and trailer parking is available.



Step inside to warm up by the wood-burning fireplace. Make yourself comfortable on the couch and enjoy a little downtime in front of the large, flat-screen television with satellite programming. The full kitchen should meet your needs whether those include preparing a midday (or midnight) snack or feeding the small team of competitive athletes returning from their football or whiffle ball game in the yard.



When it’s time to retire for the evening, your party will enjoy the privacy of the five enclosed bedrooms. Three bedrooms are on the ground level, each with a queen bed and two with flat-screen televisions. Two bedrooms are upstairs. The “kids’ room” has two twin/twin bunk beds, and the second upstairs guest room has a queen bed. Three bathrooms (two on the lower level and one on the upper floor) with tub/shower. The property includes Washer/Dryer and offers trailer parking for up to 3 trailers. This property has a total of 2576 square feet. This is the perfect property for those that work remotely since there is high speed wifi.



(Gas fire pit not available during winter months.) 4x4 is often required during the winter months!

Christmas Family Ski Trip

Everything was great. Check in was easy. The property was clean and convenient to everything we needed to do. We had my wife and I, our son and his wife and two small children, my daughter and her husband and two small children, and my youngest daughter with her husband. We had plenty of room and really enjoyed our stay there.

Great little spot!! TERRIBLE BEDS!!

It was such a cute cabin! Very clean and in pretty good shape. Cabin is far enough away from town to give you the mountain feel, but not too far to inconvenience going to town. My only complaint was the beds. The mattresses were SO TERRIBLE!!!!! We didn't sleep well at all.. I really hope they upgrade those. Other than that, we would stay again (if I could get more of a vacation-type night sleep).

Weird Check in process

When we rented the property, we got an email requesting we first went by the property management company situated 20 min away from the property. Since the property was 10h away from where we live we got in around 8pm on Friday night but we complied with the instruction to find the management office closed. Since the email had the key code I wasn’t too worried. We moved on to the property. After a few days, I started to look for check out instruction and since I couldn’t find any I messaged the listing through the app. I was shocked to hear a pretty aggressive property manager telling me she had been waiting for me for three days and that she didn’t even know we where in town. At that point we had a pretty tight schedule of activities and swinging back to the office wasn’t an option. I feel like if there was anything needed from me they should have emailed that info ahead.

Plenty of room. Easy check in and check out. Wi-Fi worked well. Plenty of space and slept our 8 adults and 4 kids easily. 3 baths was nice. Beds were extremely hard was only complaint. Would definitely stay again. Nice to be out of town, but still within 5 minutes. Right off the road.

Great stay

Overall great experience, however the bed frames on the bunk beds on the top floor were very squeaky which caused a few sleeping issues, but we would definitely stay there again.

Great Views

Area was nice in the Valley and much easier parking than up a incline. The pictures were little misleading on the size of the home and the placement of the house. We found little bottles of liquor bottles left in the upstairs room around the nightstand and under the bed. Our biggest complaint was the beds they were horrible, we did not sleep good at all. On the plus side firewood was delivered to us and they did have a gas grill in the winter. Very beautiful area and very quite. We still enjoyed our stay and had a good time.

Overall great place a few minor inconveniences

The property was a perfect set up for a large family or 2 family vacation. Everything was as described except there was no fire pit in the sitting area outside . The DVD player would turn on and show the brand name on the tv but. It play. There were 5 controls in which none of them worked the tv and everything had to be done by the box on the tv. The propane tank was completely empty and left us having to pay $30 to get it filled. Also all the games in the loft should be trashed they are all missing pieces and at least 25 years old. Everything else was fantastic. Beds were comfortable and we slept well !
