Explore the famous Parkway strip of Pigeon Forge, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg easily from the prime location of our cozy cabin. Experience the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee and listening to the birds and wildlife serenade you from the spacious wrap around deck.

The Clumsy Cub Cabin is equipped with everything you might need for a perfect stay. Self check-in is a breeze, all you have to do is arrive at the cabin. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin boasts a peaceful and cozy environment, while placing you only minutes away from restaurants, unique shopping, exciting family entertainment, and thrilling outdoor adventures. This delightful cabin offers a private deck with lush wooded views and seasonal mountain view. The cabin includes 3 TVs, premium cable package (HBO, Showtime, & NFL Network), complimentary wireless Internet as well as a hot tub and pool table for exceptional entertainment.

Enjoy some family time in the spacious living room featuring a beautiful stone fireplace, 55 inch Ultra Smart TV with a DVD player, cozy seating for all, and an airy vaulted ceiling. Follow the open floor plan to the kitchen which is fully-equipped with stainless steel appliances and comprises all the essentials to create memorable family dinners. If you prefer grilling, the cabin also offers a gas barbeque. The main floor bedroom offers a king-sized bed with a separate bathroom featuring a jetted tub.

Take the winding staircase up to the loft for a one of a kind view and delight in a game of pool or challenge each other to a game of foosball. The master suite includes a king sized bed and other amenities such as fireplace, vaulted ceilings and an additional queen sleeper sofa.

There is no front desk at this cabin. Please note that we are unable to guarantee early check-in but we will try to accommodate if possible. Check-in is at 4:00pm. Check-out is at 10:00 am.

Cleaning is not required before you leave The Clumsy Cub Cabin but we do ask that you keep the place organized and accumulate trash in the trash bins within the cabin.

Sherwood Forest Resort is a 4.8 star-rated gated community just a moment away from Parkway overlooking Mount LeConte. The community also places you only 15 minutes from Gatlinburg. The location affords you an easy drive to all the area attractions, yet quiet peacefulness surrounds you in the gated community. To cool off on those long summer days, the resort offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The well-maintained grounds ease into the tranquil surroundings.

Less than 5 minutes from the cabin, you are in the heart of all that Pigeon Forge has to offer including the famous Parkway strip. There is something for everyone from unique shopping at Old Mill Square to the entertaining Hatfield & McCoy’s Dinner Show as well as go karting, mini golf, and much more fun at The Island at Pigeon Forge. Dollywood Theme Park and Dollywood’s Splash Country are among some of the favorite family vacation spots nearby. Challenge yourself to the Rocky Top Wine Trail which is a self-guided tour to 5 of the local wineries. You won’t run out of stuff to do here!

Head on over to Gatlinburg to find anything from clothes to blown glass to homemade candies and fudge. Take a ride up the SkyLift, Ober Gatlinburg Tram, and the Space Needle to see incredible views of the Smoky Mountains. Let the Smoky Mountains continue to take your breath away as you take on some of the many famous hiking trails! The parks boasts over 800+ miles of hiking trails featuring waterfalls, wildlife, and old growth forests in every direction! Drive through or Hike up to Clingman’s Dome. From the top of the tower on a clear day at Clingman’s Dome, you can see several states including Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Kentucky.
