Fisher Estate - Big House- Norris Lake- Deerfield Resort

Welcome to The Fisher Estate located in Lafollette, TN in the privately-gated Deerfield community at Norris Lake. The Estate includes 7 spacious bedrooms (sleeps 30) and 7.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom. An open floorplan, with a huge dining room table. A wet bar, and pool table are also located on the estate.

There is a full size fridge and full size freezer located in the garage. The home also has an industrial size ice machine! Each bedroom has its own smart TV. Also, a commercial coffee pot system is located in the wet bar.

Out back, guests can enjoy the golf course view on the stamped concrete 67 ft patio. The patio also has a 20ft electric awning to keep the sun and rain off of the fun! The house is located on the golf course with beautiful views!

The community of Deerfield is a premier resort on Norris Lake that offers a championship 18 hole golf course, the Tiki bar, tennis courts, swimming pool, sand volleyball and a children’s playground area. If you or your family are looking for a vacation get-a-away, The Fisher Estate is it! This gorgeous property has everything to enjoy some time away!

Perfect for our large family

Excellent property, would recommend

This is a fantastic property suitable for large groups who love golf. Walkable to a fun tiki hut restaurant, and close to marinas and beaches for water activities. We loved our stay here

Great House!!

This place is better than the photos! Lots of room for our family group of 30. The property has beautiful views and is lacking nothing. Would stay in this house again.

Perfect for our Family Retreat

Family drove from several states to meet here for a family retreat! The home was just want we needed, with ample living space and sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well supplied with the basic needs for cooking, with a double oven and lots of counter space. We loved being able to eat together, as the dining room seated all of us at one time. Home was very clean and the host was very accommodating and attentive to every detail. There were no surprises. The home is on a golf course, so beware of possible flying golf balls - but we saw that in the description and that didn’t deter us from enjoying the outdoor porch and the community amenities were a plus. We look forward to return to The Big House!

Large Groups

This property is great for a large group. We had 23 people mostly adults. The house had plenty of room for everyone. Loved the outdoor cooking space. Propane grill, charcoal grill, and flat top cooking.

Perfect Getaway

This house was truly a home for our family Christmas!! Lots of room for everyone! First house we’ve ever rented where all 22 of us could gather around the table. We drove up to playground, had a nice yard for kids to run some of their energy off, they loved seeing all the deer. Appreciated the extra storage containers, lots of cookware, and dishes. I can’t say enough about this place. Hope we can come back again sometime!!

Great place to stay with a big group or family

There were a couple dead bugs in the corners of rooms, and one bathroom had mildew caulked over in the shower. A couple of the mattresses were a little rough and we could feel the springs in them. The lights were out in one bathroom and the ice machine didn’t work. But these issues were our only complaints and they're minor. The seating in the dining room was fantastic for a big group. The couches were comfortable, and the owner was quick at communicating about any questions. We loved that there was a pool available on property. There were plenty of beds for everyone and the property had truly beautiful views and a big outdoor patio and 2 grills to make cooking easy. We also loved it having an extra fridge and freezer and a huge updated kitchen that was easy for cooking for a large group. This was overall 4/5 for a big family reunion and everyone had a wonderful time. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to any big group staying in the area.

Great property

The house is outstanding. Plenty of beds and spaces for our seven-family group. There is also plenty of common space for gathering; we especially enjoyed the back porch. Having commercial-size coffee and ice makers were a definite plus. At first we were concerned about the proximity of the fairway to the backyard (about 30 yds from the house) since we had small children, but the mature trees screened most of the errant golf balls. The property is also 30-40 minutes away from lake access or any grocers of significant size, but the pool, playground and tennis/pickleball courts were only a short drive. Great trip!

Enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at the big house! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our large group, ice machine was convenient, used the pool table a lot, lots of space for everyone to spread out, close to the Marina which was convenient since we brought our boats. A few yard games would be nice- maybe corn hole? Everything worked in the house- it just needs a little TLC - cabinet doors tightened, light bulbs replaced, deep clean, small things. Some of the beds need replaced as well. When renting this place plan on preparing some meals - as it is very rural- and the roads to the house are super curvy! It’s a bit of a drive into town. Overall had a great stay- would stay again!

Golfing Group Paradise

WOW! What an awesome property and set up situated directly on The Greens at Deerfield Golf Course and is only seconds away from Norris Lake and the Tiki Hut at Deerfield Cove Marina. This home has so much to offer, views, comfort, nice amenities, and tons of space indoors and outdoors. I'm pretty sure we didn't even see all the rooms this home offered. LOL! I am confident that I can speak for the entire group of 12 gentlemen (ages 32 to 73) that there is no better home and location and certainly will be renting for many years as long as it's available. There are plenty of fridges, and freezers to accommodate everyone and multiple days of food preparations. I mean this place has an industrial ICE Maker. If I had to say one negative comment it would be that the oven is not the typical run-of-the-mill oven range and took a bit to figure out even when the owner clearly explained how to operate it, plus the large note on the fridge explaining as well, but to tell the truth we are to blame being a bunch of Engineers & 1 High School Principal why would we think to read instructions, we know it all, right! Seriously bring a large group for golfing or a large family gathering to stay at "The Big House". It's well worth it, I promise.

Huge House -Great for Golfers

This is the second year in a row that we stayed at the big house. We come down every year to golf and this is the perfect house for our group. It has tons of bedrooms and space to get away. We enjoyed watching football on the huge tv and comfy lazy boy recliners. The house is set up perfectly for a large group with a commercial coffee maker, two fridges, and ice maker. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. We plan to come back here again next year.

Reunion with college friends and family

The house was large enough to accommodate our group of 22 comfortably. It was well stocked with supplies and had enough beds for everyone. There was a dock right down the hill you could leave your rental boat parked at overnight which was super convenient. The community pool was a short drive away. Highly recommend!

Wedding weekend

Our daughter got married this weekend and the house could not have worked out any better for our two families. We were all able to stay together but not feel like we were on top of one another. We easily set up a table that sat 30 in the kitchen/living area and it was beautiful. We could not get the ice machine to work and Josh came right over and got it going for us! Thanks Josh for helping make this weekend a success and for being so accommodating to our needs!

Family Reunion

We had a great stay at The Big House! Perfect location close to Deerfield. We rented pontoons from Shanghai Resort and were able to park it at Deerfield over night which saved us in a 25 minute drive each day. Josh was very quick to respond to anything we needed, which wasn’t much! There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans for our cooking needs. Would stay again for sure!

Great stay

The house was absolutely fantastic. The house was well stocked with supplies. The trip from the main road to the house was a bit challenging. The access to the lake and golf course were a plus. We had nineteen people stay at the house and it accommodated us well. The owners were great and very responsive. We definitely will look into coming back.
