A beautiful view from this ocean front 2 bedroom / 2 bath town home has enough to sleep six. It is furnished with a king, two twin beds and a sleeper sofa.There is a bathroom conveniently located downstairs. There are two TV's, VCR, and a DVD player for your viewing pleasure. You can enjoy the benefit of tile while downstairs which makes for an easier clean up from any sand that may make its way into your unit. The upstairs is carpeted for a cozy home like feel. There is NO smoking. At Summerhouse we have 4 temperature regulated pools to choose from on property making it comfortable to swim all year round! There are also four tennis courts, two racquetball courts and one pickleball court. We have two grilling areas and two playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. Our common area around the pools are covered with luscious well-maintained grass with a short walk to the beach. Our rental unit has a friendly front office staff and maintenance on site to help resolve any problem quickly if they should arise. We have a small library and a gym available during normal business hours for your convenience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th year at Summerhouse. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many activities within the Summerhouse Snowbird community to participate if you wish. Our townhouse was not clean when we arrived and there were problems with kitchen appliances. However, the staff and owner responded quickly. We will be back next year.

I thought the unit was nice but the furnishings, especially the bedrooms, are old and need to be updated. The cleanliness was okay. I don't think the service does a deep enough cleaning given they only have 3-4 hours to turn the units.

Reviewer Comments: Summerhouse is at a great location on highway A1A for all activities, both North to St. Augustine and south to Palm Coast and beyond.Unit 205 was fine..ocean front is great with the sounds of surf at night..the unit was clean enough but needs updates, especially in the kitchen..stove..refrigerator..etc. we had internet and cable TV problems for a few days..the front desk reacted well for us working with the unit owner to get the problem resolved. Summerhouse is a very nice complex, I highly recommend it.

Appliances are old. Found the bed in master to be too soft and sheets and mattress cover well worn and did not properly fit the bed. Main bathroom shower stall has mold on tile and grout.

CALLED AND A YOUNG MAN CAME BY AND SAID THAT HE WOULD HAVE MAINTENACE COME BY THE NEXT MORNING BUT NO ONE SHOE=WED UP. NEXT DAY WHEN TRYING TO USE STOVE HAD A BURNT SMOELL AND ACTUALY HAD A FLAME WHEN USED THE FIRST TIME. OVER ALL MAYBE ONE OF WORST START IN PAST 20 + YEARS THERE. UNIT NEEDS KITCHEN UPDATING AND FLOORS DOWNSTAIRS NEED WORK AS NOT CLEAN LOOKING. NOT WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FOR PRICEOF A OCEANFRONT TOWNHOME

Grounds and condo was nice as always but some owners made our family reunion vacation miserable. All has been addressed and hopefully next year Summerhouse will be back to the family friendly resort that my family has many find memories of.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived on 09-02-2021,after a walk through found that none of the 3 TV,s worked called the office (3:45 ) they said they would contact maintenance and get back with us. Never heard from anyone called Friday morning they said they would have someone between 10 and 12, a young did come by (Ryan) super nice after some time he did get the master bedroom working but never got never got the main tv working, he called the office and they called Comcast they said they would come on Saturday between 10 and 12 we waited until 1:30 , no show. I called the office and they said comcast had called and they would be late and did not know if they could make Saturday, when ask why they did not call and let us know, she did not have a answer. No TV dirty floors(baseboards and corners) dinning room light did not work, Bugs, hall bath would not drain, master basin would not drain, front door was hard to open, when the AC came on it sounded like a plane taking off. We were in St Augustine for a wedding and this ruined the trip.

Sheltering at Summer House: Displaced by house repairs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Since repairs to our home were going to take a month, we decided to spend the time at Summer House. Having recently spent a week long vacation there last October, we knew it would be an agreeable place to spend our forced displacement. It turned out fine. The property fit the website description and was clean and well maintained. The kitchen utensils, however, were worn and scratched teflon coated which we didn't enjoy cooking with. There were also minor problems with clogged sinks. However, these issues were all manageable and we enjoyed our stay. We will come back when we can actually have a vacation.

Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Any concerns are attended to usually very quickly. The Crescent Beach area is not too ā€œtouristyā€ with nice amenities and a lovely beach. We knew that we were going to arrive late in the evening and phoned TWICE to be sure that arrangements were in place for our late arrival. We arrived at 9pm and were locked out. It took a long time to get access. Some units are sub-standard and are not well equipped. They are letting their standards slip in some units. So I would recommend ā€˜cautionā€™ regarding unit selection.

Beautiful beach bires

The property is in a great beach area, not packed with people. Perfect for us. The condo itself was comfortable but there were a couple of glitches. No WiFi and no Tv. Kept getting a Comcast error message s0a00 which was reported to the office. Never got connected. Also a bad electrical outlet in the master bedroom next to the chest of drawers. The kitchen was well supplied with pots pans dishes and flatware. Sufficient towels. The upholstered chair in the family room needs to be steam cleaned. Plenty of sitting space
