At Keverne / LizZard Peninsula

Sally and John were brilliant hosts. Very helpful and attentive providing us with information and tips for our days out. The accommodation itself was superb. Very clean, modern and tidy and had everything we needed. The views are amazing and the location perfect for exploring. Highly recommend staying here.

Spotless

Very well presented and well equipped, small house which is a converted barn. Beautiful view over the valley in a tranquil location. We had a very enjoyable stay here in October and our hosts were very attentive. Though the other two holiday barns were occupied, we were completely undisturbed. The barn was very well equipped with everything we needed and there were some delightful extra touches. We walked down to the local pub via the adjacent footpath for dinner a couple of times and the Greenhouse restaurant in St Keverne is not to be missed. John had some good tips on where to start our walks along the Cornish coast path and Sarah has a great eye for detail ensuring the the accommodation is top notch. They were both very keen to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we required. Would definitely recommend to friends and hope to return.

Amazing

A wonderful property, with not a right angle anywhere, but that adds to the sheer marvel of the place. Wholeheartedly recommended. The owners too are just so helpful and caring, this is a real gem.

Great holiday in a beautiful location

The property was spotless and with all the facilities for a comfortable self catering week in Cornwall. The owners, Sarah and John were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay and the scones, cream and jam left for us on our arrival was a nice touch and delicious too ! Nanteague is a lovely little cottage which has been brought completely up to modern standards and even the low ceiling in the bedroom added a charm to the place. Wonderful views of the sea across the neighbouring fields from the front of the cottage, two nice pubs in nearby St Keverne twenty five minutes walk across the fields and a five minute drive and another nice pub fifteen minutes walk away in Porthallow. All served food and there were plenty of great beaches within driving distance. All in all, a wonderful week spent in a perfect location with perfect hosts. Thank you Sarah and John

A great stay near Porthallow

Nanteague was a relatively short-notice holiday booking after our previous plans were disrupted by Covid, but we had an excellent holiday. I don't usually leave five stars in every category for a property, but this is well deserved. It's just perfect for two people, set just outside Porthallow in a quiet location with plenty of walking in easy reach. It was really comfortable, spotlessly clean and with some of those little extras that make for a luxury feel. Covid precautions were excellent - John and Sarah as hosts take this aspect really seriously, as they do with every aspect of hosting. Highly recommended!

Ein Paradies auf Erden

Dieses perfekt ausgestattete und wohl konzeptionierte Ferienhaus befindet sich auf einem ausgedehnten, sehr professionell angelegten und sehr gepflegten Grundstück. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufgeschlossen, zuvorkommend und jederzeit ansprechbar. Man kann viele gute Tips zur Gestaltung von Wanderrouten usw. bekommen, Sarah und John sind jederzeit ansprechbar. Die idyllische Lage, die Stille (tolle Vogelstimmen nachts), die Aussicht auf das Tal und die Bucht von Falmouth (alle Fotos entsprechen der Realität), entfalten nach kurzer Zeit therapeutische Wirkung , vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!!!! Wir würden sehr gern wiederkommen!

Nanteague at Tregaminion

A beautifully presented cottage with stunning views and surrounded by delightful gardens. It had everything we needed and more. John and Sarah are wonderful hosts and made us feel truly pampered. Both sea and lovely inland vegetarian cafe within walking distance. Can't recommend this property highly enough.

Kleines Paradies mit Stil und Charme

Außergewöhnlich hübsches Grundstück mit tollem, großen Garten und Wasserblick. Drei Cottages, die voneinander unabhängig gebaut sind, jedes mit kleinem, nicht einsehbaren Garten. Hervorragend ausgestattet mit Liebe zum Detail. Die Besitzer Sarah und John sind stets ansprechbar und helfen mit Tipps und Infos. Das kleine Örtchen St Keverne ist mit dem Auto/Fahrrad gut zu erreichen und bietet Pubs und Restaurant.

cottage de rêve!

nous n'aurions pu espérer plus bel emplacement pour ce ravissant cottage, situé en pleine nature, dans un jardin magnifique et une vue splendide. Sarah et John sont très accueillants, ils font leur maximum pour rendre le séjour agréable. Cottage très cosy, très bien équipé et jouissant d'un calme absolu et proche malgré tout de tous les centres d'intérêt de cette si belle région. C'est avec regret que nous quittons Nanteague- Tregaminion mais nous reviendrons sûrement! Merci Sarah et John.....

Cottage mit Meerblick

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir bekamen von ihnen sehr gute Tips und sogar entsprechendes Kartenmaterial für Unternehmungen. Das Ferienhaus mit einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Einfach zum genießen und Urlaub zu machen. Die ruhige Lage ist einmalig. Nicht zu vergessen der herrlich angelegte und gepflegte Garten auf dem Grundstück. Wir würden 10 Sterne geben und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Sehr Empfehlenswert!

Wonderful cottage, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Nanteague. It is a beautiful little cottage with fantastic views out over Falmouth Bay. The attention to detail in the cottage is second to none with little touches that made our stay easy, relaxing and enjoyable. There are two other cottages available however the thought that has been put into the conversions has retained the privacy of each. The cottage is exceptionally clean and well maintained and John and Sarah are fantastic hosts who could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend staying at Nanteague and look forward to returning here, or to one of the other two cottages holiday cottages available, in the very near future.

Für Menschen mit Sinn für ein entspanntes Landschaftserlebnis und dem Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Urlaub. Ideal zum Schreiben, Lesen und Genießen. Perfect location explore this part of Cornwall. The owners have created a perfect holiday destination for you and their attention to detail is perfect, we will be recommending to friends and family and most definitely be booking again.
