This colorful, waterfront home, located right on the canal with a dock, offers easy access to the ocean or the Gulf. This location is the perfect spot for families to build memories while enjoying your favorite watersports. The home has a full kitchen for easy meal preparation and plenty of space for dining both inside or outside on the furnished balcony and patio. This rental also includes a private pool and a gas grill for summertime cookouts.

What's nearby:
If you want to get your feet on the sand or swim in the surf, head over to Sombrero Beach, a beautiful area where you can witness Loggerhead turtle nesting between April and October, located less than a mile from your rental. While a mile-and-a-half north, visit the Marathon Wild Bird Center and then shop and dine all along Florida State Road A1A.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location great price

We will definitely rent this house again when we come back. The property was magnificent! We were centrally located between Sombrero beach and shopping.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time! It was fantastic to have a pool all to ourselves! The house was clean and having a washer and dryer was very convenient. The location was also great! We would stay here again!

Great place to stay!

This is a great place with plenty of room and very private for the location. We enjoyed the pool area alot even tho it is small right around the pool the upper deck is great for laying in the sun or at night watching the stars. The boat dock is great.

A beautiful slice of Paradise with “old Florida” Charm

My husband and I just returned from an 8 night stay. It was the perfect serene private space. The pool is beautiful (a little chilly as there is no heater)! The space is very clean. We loved the lived in and semi dated feel to the furnishings and would absolutely stay again and again!!!

Good stay overall. Beds were comfortable, house and grounds neatly kept. A/C worked very well Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. Dock was in good shapeLocation is great!Things that could be better:Get rid of that dang door alarm on the back door!Was not able to check in until 5pm. No dish soap or dishwasher soapNo laundry detergent. No wash cloth or towels for kitchen. Loose board on walkwayDriveway too tight to get big boats on trailer in.We have to do this to unload stuff out of the boat when we get there and to pack the boat up the night before we leave. I had a 25ft boat and barely made it. Get rid of the rocks bordering the driveway. That should solve that problem.

Cute house on the water

There was two families staying with a total of 8 people and it was plenty big enough. We enjoyed the conviennce of being on the water to get to and from our boat. The kids loved cooling off in the pool after a hot day on the water. Would rent again in the future.

Very clean on arrival, very quiet area, felt very private with large garden and long driveway. House to one side and water to front and other side. Warm clean pool. Great dock and quick to get out to sea with boat. Will book again

Disappointing Stay – Property Needs Serious TLCUnfortunately, our stay at this property did not meet expectations. The house is in need of significant attention and upkeep. Carpets throughout were stained, and the bedding and towels were also visibly stained, which was very off-putting. The bathroom had cracked tiles, and some of the outdoor furniture was ripped and unusable. There were no thoughtful or welcoming touches—no basics like salt and pepper in the kitchen, trash bags, laundry soap, or even a guidebook, which made it feel more like a neglected rental than a comfortable vacation home. With a little care and maintenance, this place could be much better, but as it stands, it doesn't offer good value for the price. Would not recommend until improvements are made.

Beautiful House!

Walked to Sombrero Beach. Enjoyed the water views from the deck. Ate meals using the screened section of the deck. Nice pool! Enjoyed sitting on the dock, kayaking, and biking. We rented kayaks, and bikes.

House is in a great location. Pool area and dock are great. House does need updating. Carpet and flooring need major cleaning. Over all, its a great house, very cozy and well equipped.

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet this home offers. Great views. Sombero beach is within walking distance and is very nice. We brought both sets of parents and everyone had a good time. I might recommend taking out the trundle bed and putting another queen bed in the house. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Perfect sombrero stay

We just love the sombrero beach area and this house certainly provided! Very close to the beach for walking or biking. The property sits back off the main road and there's plenty of privacy. The dock had plenty of room for our boat and kayak and paddleboard. The house was clean and had most of what we needed. We drive down and always pack supplies for the kitchen and between our stuff and what's there we were able to cook plenty. The dish disposal broke while we were there, and they came the same day to fix it. The towels were either new, or cheap, and when we used them they left white fuzz all over us. Besides that, perfect stay!

Great stay for price

We stayed at this location for 9 nights. We liked how the bedrooms were set up. The pocket door closed off the spare bedrooms and gave us more privacy. The mattress in the queen bedroom was terrible and really needs replacing. Also, the beach chairs were torn and not able to be used. We kept our jet ski at the dock and it was only a 10 min slow ride out. My kids loved the pool. We just wish the pool lights were working for late night swimming. House needs some updating but it was a great price.

Mediocre at best

Carpet was dirty, Ants in the kitchen, worn out furniture. Walls were patch and unpainted. Dryer did not work properly. Grounds were unkept. The property has a nice setup and the house could be something special if a little TLC effort was put in. Dock setup was great.

Nice neighborhood.Bushes all grown up so no water view like the picture show.

Place was nice.Grill needs replaced very old,blew up on my son n law.No propane Had to go buy it.No cable tv,Ice maker broke reported it and no one came to fix it or responded back.Very bad management .

Not impressed with the house

House needs a lot of updating. Bed sheets look worn out. No TVs or cable in the bedrooms. Kitchen is not fully functioning with all things you need to prepare meals we had to go out and buy things. Dryer did not work well had to dry a load multiple times.

Missing a few key items

We found this place lacking a few things. Hot water would not work in master bath so all used a small bathroom. Texted number given, no response. Slow drain in small bathroom. Fresh water to dock not working so couldn't rinse anything there. Lighting not adequate for days where sun goes down at 5:30 pm. Carpet appeared dirty. No beach towels we could find. Needs new blender and a pizza cutter:) Location and wide canal great though!

Beautiful location, house in need of some love

We really did enjoy our stay. The location was fantastic and close to all major amenities. There were just a few things that were a bit off with our stay or in need of some tlc. Upon arrival later in the evening we went to climb into bed after a long days drive and noticed that our bedding was still very wet. Enough to make our pajamas wet. The bathroom floor Matt’s were also very wet. Being so late and so tired we slept in the beds anyways. The dryer also must be clogged or in need of some repair, it takes at least two hours some times more for regular sized loads to dry. The fridge, even after adjusting temperature, does not keep items very cold. Milk stays just below warm and ice cream is very soft A couple days into the trip we did find a couple cockroaches in the kitchen, we did manage to kill them but I’m sure there would be more. Master bathrooms toilet paper holder is held together with tape therefore the toilet paper falls off constantly. Spare bedroom blinds are broken and missing last couple panels therefore not able to keep it fully closed for privacy and or to keep the morning sun out. Moving outside to the dock. The dock ladder is in need of repair. It is missing bolts which causes the ladder to fully tip, in fact before noticing, this my husband went to use the ladder to get out of our boat and actually fell into the canal. We do understand rental houses and how they can suffer some abuse. And to repeat we really did enjoy our stay as I think we are a pretty east going family. The listed items I feel are pretty noteworthy items that would have improved our stay

Great place to stay in Marathon!

Sombrero Sands was a great place to stay for our party of six. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool. The boat dock was perfect and we had easy access to the Atlantic or the Gulf. Would definitely stay there again.
