Sweetbriar Villa -Heated and Inground Pool!

This large Bolton Landing vacation home rental can accommodate 12 people, featuring a heated pool, two kitchens, and two living spaces. The first floor of this Bolton Landing vacation rental has two bedrooms, both with queen beds, one with a pool/lake view! The bathroom on this floor is a ¾ bath with a large double shower. A foosball table is also on the main floor, making for a perfect place to spend quality time together. Just off the first kitchen and dining area are French glass doors for easy access to the pool.

The second floor of this Bolton Landing vacation home rental features two large bedrooms, a living room, another kitchen, a dining room, two full baths, and a bonus family room. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a double fireplace, and an attached master bath. The master bath includes a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom on this floor has a king-sized bed and a twin over full bunk bed. The second kitchen is very open with lots of natural light and has two ovens, a gas stove, and a bar with stools. Enjoy the views while relaxing in the living room or step outside through the glass doors leading to the outdoor porch. Also on this floor is another living space with a gas fireplace. The laundry room is also on the second floor.

The private pool is about three feet deep at the shallow end, with large steps leading in. The pool area includes an outdoor shower, a grilling area, an outdoor dining, a cabana to provide shade, a fire pit, and lounge chairs. There is covered parking for about five cars.

**The pool will be closed as of Columbus Day and will reopen in May.

Dock space is available if you rent a boat from Chic’s Marina. Please contact Chic’s Marina via email at rentals@chicsmarina.com to check availability. There is also a restaurant across the street that serves both lunch and dinner. There are public beaches very close in both directions, and the town of Bolton is only about a mile away with shops and restaurants.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will be required to sign a rental agreement. This must be completed to receive your check-in instructions. On the day of arrival, the check-in instructions will be sent via email at check-in, which is 4 pm. ***

Security Cameras are located on the exterior of the property and may record for security purposes.

Beautiful home with lake view

This is a beautiful, large home with a gorgeous lake view from the second floor deck and dining area. We took advantage of the pool, fire pit and grill. The place was clean and we had plenty of towels. Great communication with the rental agent.

Great house/space for families. Beautiful view of the lake. Pool was great for kids and adults alike. Very clean and updated. Great location!

Fabulous vacation week

Smooth rental process. Booking to checking in and contact with the management company. Immediate response to any issue we had. Property is in a great location and very private. Best if all we enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the marina for boat and wave runner rentals. Planning to book same week next year.

Lake George family vacation

This house was large, clean and had an amazing view. Everyone enjoyed the pool. It was within walking distance to the town Bolton Landing and about 15-20 mins by car to Lake George Village.

Incredible house and location

I was up at Lake George for a long weekend with friends and family (12 people) and the house was just perfect. Great location right on the water and made it super easy to rent boats for the weekend. We were also able to go out in Saratoga about 40 mins away. Overall, fantastic stay!

Beautiful foliage views of Lake George

The house has a beautiful view of Lake George, and we were lucky enough we rented it during the foliage pick, so the views were just amazing. The place is big enough to host two families; it was pristine, fully equipped, and very comfortable. We had a great time! The only downside was the nearby surroundings; some houses seem abandoned or under renovation; there is a boat storage area by the house entrance and a large parking lot that doesn't look nice. We arrived late at night, and it felt a bit insecure. Not sure if this entire lot is under reparations, but if the owners take care of these details, it will add value to this place.

My review

The house is nice and accommodated our needs for a family gathering, nice town, great view and family fun. We NEVER received an email regarding check in/departure and pass code to enter. The maintance man happen to be there and let us in. The TV's never worked, the bugs in the house were out of control, live bugs everywhere, even IN one of the beds downstairs. The heat downstairs NEVER worked. The upstairs Master bedroom shower had NO water pressure to take a shower comfortably, The upstairs bedroom off the kitchen had SAND in the sheets and WE had to wash them which tells me there were not washed prior to arrival. The pool was overloaded with leaves that we had to skim in order for the kids to swim. For the price they charged, we did not expect what we received. Overpriced for what we encurred. The bugs, again were out of control and for us to have to clean bedsheets, is not acceptable. Calling my credit card company today as I left a message with the property owner yesterday and I have not heard back from her as I wrote this same thing to her yesterday.

Nice retreat from reality

A group of friends and I stayed here for a few days and fully enjoyed the pool and beautiful view. The house was very clean! The pool area was a bit buggy, definitely don’t forget the bug spray.

Labor Day

We had a wonderful time! Everyone enjoyed the house and the pool around 78 degrees could of been just a little warmer...but overall it was Great! The Marina is a skip away we enjoyed boating on the Lake! It Was terrific!! highlight of our 5 days in LG.

Amazing Lake Georges view with super nice pool

The house is very well located close to the center of Bolton Landing (lots of stores and rentals for boats, kayaks...). It has an incredible vie on the lake with a pool perfect for adults for laps and kids to play. The owners are super responsive. We had a wonderful stay !

Spacious house, nice view...some suggestions

We had a wonderful family vacation in Lake George. The house was really spacious and easily accommodated our family of 8. We especially enjoyed the pool and the outdoor space. The view was just as we hoped but the location of the house is adjacent to the parking lots for Chics Marina and the Algonquin Restaurant. There was quite a bit of noise early in the morning and throughout the day, as well as a lot of traffic. We brought our boat and the reserved, private dock and its location were very convenient and nice to have. However, some detective work was needed as to where the dock was located as this information was not provided at check-in as promised. We were given a number to call but no one answered. We had to go to the marina office to inquire further. Given the daily rate, there are a few other things to note: When we arrived, the house was clean however there was trash left in the downstairs kitchen pail. The landscaping around the yard was overgrown and not well-maintained, and we ended up pulling weeds from the pool area bricks so we didn’t have to look at them. The VRBO site stated that there was cable/satellite TV available and there were four TVs throughout the house. However, none of these TVs had satellite or cable. Two of them were smart tvs (only), one was connected to a DVD player only (who has DVDs?), and the last TV was not working at all. We called to report the issue with the TVs and were told that a repair person would come to the house. No one showed up and no one called back. Upon further inspection of the more detailed description in the listing (which conflicted with the VRBO site), we saw that it said that the large living room TV had DVD access only. This was disappointing as it was the largest room in the house with the largest TV for family viewing. We had to drive 30 minutes to buy an HDMI cable so we could connect our laptop to watch streaming services. It would have been nice if an HDMI cable was provided for that room and the listing descriptions were consistent. While it is clear that many parts of the house have been renovated, other parts could use an update. Overall the house satisfied our needs and had a beautiful view.

Best family getaway

My family and I had an incredible stay in Sweetbriar Villa. We have never rented a home in Lake George and this experience was so amazing that we will continue to rent a home going forward. The house was immaculate, large enough to give 12 people plenty of space, in a prime location and the view was stunning. We would certainly recommend this property and hope to stay there again!

Beautiful house with just a few suggestions

The home and location were wonderful. We would have preferred to have been notified before that the pool was not heated as it was a bit too chilly for the kids to swim in while we were there. It would also would have been nice to know that the tv's get very limited channels and one only accepts DVD's. The view was gorgeous and the home was very big and able to accomodate all 9 of us comfortably. Thanks,
