This elegant mountainside condo inside the development of Coco Bay Estates, is conveniently located on the outskirts of Playas del Coco, Guanacaste, only a half hour drive from the Liberia International Airport.

Split plan layout has expansive ocean/valley views from every room and is perfect for two couples or families travelling together. The two spacious primary suites are at each end of this beautiful condo, separated by the open plan gourmet kitchen, dining and living room. The two primary ensuite bathrooms are enormous with luxurious designer finishes, big separate showers, (one bathroom has an oversized whirlpool tub), double sinks. Primary Bedroom #1 has one queen bed and Primary #2 is furnished with twin beds which can be joined together with a Simmons King mattress topper (and King bedding) to create one King (you choose).

The dream kitchen has all your wish list features, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, etc.. This beautifully furnished condo also has a full width balcony for lounging, enjoying the spectacular ocean/valley views.

Just steps away from your luxurious condo is a brand new multi-level pool with commanding views of the surrounding valleys and countryside. The property is equipped with 24-hour security and guarded overnight parking.

Club House membership included with minimum 14 night stay (giant freeform pool with waterslide, pickleball, tennis, gym, showers, restaurant).

It is conveniently located between Ocotal Beach (3 kms) and Playas del Coco (2 Kms) where you will enjoy clear seas and sand beaches, sailing, boating and snorkeling, boutiques, grocery stores and many restaurants and bars serving local and international fare. Hiking, bird watching, sailing, deep sea fishing, boating and snorkeling adventures are all nearby. Enjoy a vacation you'll never forget.

Note: VRBO’s Google Cloud shows us as an 11 minute walk to the beach, which is incorrect!!! It is more like a 30 minute walk. This condo is placed high on a hillside overlooking the Gulf de Papagayo. A car rental is a must! We are located a minimum 4 minute drive from the beaches, not walking.

Very clean and fantastic view of the ocean. Located high up so very steep drive. Clubhouse pool area in resort fantastic and there was in addition a hilltop pool that was thoroughly enjoyable in the evening. Host easy to reach when there a brief power outage (area wide). Corby gave us good suggestions for activities. Condo suited out family of four very well with two bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Balcony in shade for most of the day.

Great vacation

The view of the property it is incredible, convenient located and facilities in excellent condition. Close to Coco an Ocotal Beach and supermarkets . Corby is an excellent host and was instrumental to have a great vacation.

Considering that the insect issue was never mentioned by you or your travel companions during your 4 night stay in this condo (nor by the previous guests who left the day before your arrival and had stayed for one month); I can only assume that this is “payback” for the inconvenience of the periodic water supply problem within the entire community (beyond our control) and the fact that you chose to ignore my advice to rent a car, then discovered that you really needed one, which resulted in your having difficulty getting around. The water issue was unfortunate and has since been resolved. The car rental could have been dealt with prior to your arrival at the time that I advised you it was necessary.

We love pickleball The court time was included at Cocoa Bay Estates, at the club, a short distance away & down a steep hill. 15 minute walk down 20 minutes up. The unit was clean and neat. Easy to prepare food in the kitchen. A few minor electrical glitches but overall very nice Vacation.

Coco Beach Condo getaway

The condo has just about everything we could have needed for our week long stay. More plastic ware, ie more food storage containers would have been helpful as we cooked a lot of our dinners on the property. An outdoor grill would also have been great to have on the spacious balcony. The Coco Bay Estates Beach Club (a mere minutes drive down the hill) was wonderful! Large, clean pool and the workout room had everything to offer. What was not reflected on the website was the construction site directly in front of the property’s balcony. We didn’t mind though, as we soon learned to shift our gaze past the “building in progress” to the gorgeous view of the ocean, the blue sky, the boats and the rocks beyond. Corby Smith was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish!

Quiet (*) little place on safari

Rock solid rental from start to finish. Corby was accessible. We were comfortable in this 2 bedroom condo on the hill overlooking Coco Bay. The unit is in good shape. A/C and WIFI worked great. Bring your own movies if inclined. The amenities, flatware and pans, are a bit third rate and plan on fully stocking the basics unless someone leaves more stuff. I left some cooking spray, and there was plenty of pepper. (*) Is for the construction outside the condo...progress right, but it will overhang the ambience for several months (2/24). We were out everyday, so this just encouraged us to get going to the beaches or the wonderful club. Pura Vida!

Very nice with good amenities

As the photographs indicate, this condo is spacious and has a large balcony and two huge bathrooms. It is perfect for a couple with two children. Pros: - the condo was very clean and comfortable - Corby was a very friendly and helpful host; she met us personally, took us up to the condo, and provided lots of information and good recommendations and was responsive when we needed to get in touch - the condo includes access to a gym (pictured in listing) which was adequate albeit a bit worn, and a pool (also pictured) which was beautiful and included a little water slide - free access to a private beach club a quick drive away just off Ocotal Beach; it's a great place to sit in the shade, store stuff (take a lock for lockers), or use the washroom/shower - there is a washer/dryer right in the condo, which makes it easier to pack light and re-use clothes Cons: - pool and gym are 1 km from the condo, and it's very hilly and steep to get there, so popping over on foot for a workout or swim is not appealing in the Guanacaste heat; listing indicates a car is needed, but we didn't realize it would be needed for onsite amenities - condo is nice and clean but showing wear/age and need for some replacements; for example, the washer died mid-cycle - view from the balcony is not as pictured; there is now a building under construction on the sandy hill on the left side and an excavator; you can still see the ocean, but the photo does need updating Overall, a very good experience.

Perfect home base for beach vaca

If you have a rental car, this is an ideal rental for family of four. Access to the Club pool was a big plus for relaxed swimming. You will need to buy beach chairs if you want to spend days on the sand beaches. Father Roosters restaurant close by was another home away from home -excellent food, service, drinks, lounging areas, and swings in the trees.

Wonderful Experience

Beautiful 2 BR unit with separate beds for our two 18+ sons. Clean, all needed amenities, and a fantastic view plus access to a wonderful pool and club! Corby was fantastic with answering any questions, meeting us for check-in, and any other needs while we were in the rental. We do recommend a car or equivalent rental as roads are steep by the unit, making a walk challenging.

Amazing views, peaceful condo

We had an amazing time at the condo. One of our favorite things about it were the amazing views, and having our breakfast in the balcony . The space is very well designed, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The condo’s location is pretty convenient, close to supermarkets and one our favorite beaches, Ocotal. Corby was always helpful and responsive, as well as flexible with the check in and check out, which much appreciated
